Description:

As the Aesir line grew, Hadur and Lyncitech sought a small ship that was quick and capable of dealing decent damage in every pass. From those desires came the Nike-class Fast Frigate. Holding to the popular wedge shape, the bridge was nearly fully embedded into the hull, making it a sleek craft while greatly reducing the target profile of the command center of the ship. As the design was fully fleshed out, the frame proved to be an effective design, thus allowing it to allow different configurations. Two models were created: one for capital ship combat and one as an anti-starfighter screening vessel.

With the changing models, the design allowed for the weaponry to be changed without hindering speed, maneuverability, and armor. This allowed it to remain a relatively quick vessel no matter which situation it was put into. For its capital ship offensive, it carried five heavy turbolaser batteries, three medium turbolaser batteries, and five-point defense batteries. When utilizing this variation, the ship was designed to carry two-hundred troops and twelve starfighters.

For starfighter screening, the vessel instead carried two heavy turbolaser batteries to still fend off capital ships, ten dual point defense batteries, ten quad lasers, and four concussion missile tubes housing ten missiles each. For this variant, the interior has been remodeled to lessen the room for troops and allows more hangar space, which houses twenty-four starfighters.
