Description:
With the larger ships, the goal of the Mortalis line began to waver slightly with the creation of the Amara-class Cruiser. Much more slender than some of the ships designed by Hadur and Lynictech, from the top, it almost appeared like a machine gun of some sort, especially with the arching bulges that came out the side near the bridge of the ship.
Armed with fifteen turbolaser batteries, twenty point defense cannons, and ten ion cannons, the real feature that stood out for the model was the addition of a single electromagnetic plasma cannon at the front of the ship. Within its hull, it could carry five-hundred troops and twenty-four starfighters. More than capable of standing up with any of its class, including the better designs of the Mythic and Aesir lines, the Amara was a cheaper, yet valuable asset to any fleet.
