Description:

While not of a specific role or design as other of the Aesir line, the Bast-class Star Frigate was built to be a smaller, capable attack craft for groups who desired smaller ships over the larger star destroyers or wanted something smaller to compliment the larger ships. While carrying a few distinctions, it holds a similar profile to that of the Somnus-class Ion Attack Cruiser.

Being a balanced ship, its attributes were moderate. Carrying a load out of thirty turbolaser batteries, twenty quad laser cannons, fifteen ion cannons, eight proton torpedo tubes holding ten torpedoes each, and eight tractor beam projectors, it was capable of holding its own with a good complement of ships. For boarding and interior defense, it could carry 1,200 troops and forty-eight starfighters for extra defense.
