Quarren Dominion - Planning and Recruitment thread

Backstory:

The Quarren Dominion rises from the ashes of the Galactic Alliance after their defeat by the First Order at Dac.
In allegiance with Emperor Nicademus Delvardus, Supreme Commander of the First Order, the Quarren leaders withdrew in secret their support from the local gouvernment on Dac in order to turn Mon Calamari into an autonomous world, gouverned by the Quarren once more. Though in the aftermath of the Battle of Dac still occupied by the First Order, former cities under Galactic Alliance controll belong now to the newly formed Dominion.

However, the local gouvernment of Mon Calamari is influenced more recently by a man, who calls himself the Prophet C'Thyl. Although barely any recordings regarding his past exist, C'Thyl acts as an advisor to the new souvereigns of Dac, working with his cult in the shadows of the ocean. Holding the Quarren mining town of Morjanssik in his sway and funding a fleet on his own, C'Thyl is seen by many as a new arising leader figure, who could lead Mon Calamari into a better future among the stars, as he encourages the gouvernment for more expansion and enlightenment.

Yet, the Prophet's secrets are as dark as the endless voids of the Maw.
Those, who truely wish to support him and have a connection to the Force might hear 'the Voices', whom he claims to follow, some day as well...

Concept:

The Quarren Dominion is planned as a faction, which will focus on two aspects in order to function as it might be confusing what the actual aim is.
The most obvious aspect for those, who read between the lines is, that the gouvernment of Mon Calamari is supposedly a puppet state for the Prophet, who intends to spread his Cthulhu-esque beliefs into the world of Mon Calamari and beyond.

The mystical aspect of the Dominion is, what will differ the sorcerers and acolythes under C'Thyl's command from the rest of Dark Side factions, as it will heavily focus the aspect of creating cosmic horrors - to spread the Dark Side by the means of inflicting madness. Due to C'Thyl being a dark side sorcerer, we will lack lightsabers and mainly focus on the force powers aspect of the force - though of course I won't deny lightsabers, if people still want to use them, I for myself will not utilize one as the mind can be sometimes sharper than a sword.

C'Thyl and his followers furthermore believe, that only absolute darkness will offer the solution to the galaxy and that there are greater entities out there, which herald its coming. They, like formerly the Sorcerers of Rhand believe in the Way of the Dark, therefore following a different point of philosophy than regular force users. Unlike Cronal and the Sorcerers of Rhand though, they believe that in order to achieve this end goal, means to end all life within the galaxy have to be created or awakened in order to cause total destruction.
Keep in mind though: That's only the motivation of the crazy sorcerer cult, not what we actually wish to achieve!

The second aspect of the Dominion would be of course the regular aquatic folks. Quarren, Mon Calamari and whatever you fancy.
There surely is a small percentage of unlucky Dominion members, who will join up in the cult as grotesque Sithspawns in an Innsmouth kind-of-look, but the majority of people will rather see the Mon Calamari fleet and a stable gouvernment, ruled by their gentle leaders.
Of course the Quarren Dominion is mainly lead by Quarren, but this might be up to change, depending on further ideas, people provide on the faction. Apart from that though, other than cultists and political leaders, the Quarren Dominion will be in search of ship captains and admirals, who will admonitor the Mon Calamari fleet in the Dominion's name.
Utilizing ship designs from both Mon Calamari Shipyards and the Free Dac Volunteers Engineering Corps, the Mon Calamari fleet will offer a large variant of cruisers and dreadnoughts, supported by Amphibious Fighters and other starfighters. We consider to implement Sith designs as well in order to compensate the lack of Mon Calamari starfighters as well, if needed.



So far I welcome everyone, who would be interested in joining up with the Dominion. At the moment this is more of a draft, so not everything is written in stone. If you are interested in joining the Dominion due to one of its aspects, whether it be your interest in an alternative way of the Dark Side or your interest in commanding a whole fleet of large squid ships, then I will provide you a heartly, wet welcome below the waves of Dac.
