Description:
Being one of the primary Galactic Alliance Defense fleet's warships hundred years after the Yuuzhang Vong war, the MC140 Scythe class main battle cruiser was produced by the Mon Calamari Shipyards. Despite the massive change from the regular Mon Calamari ship design and it being around a third of a regular Star Destroyer's size, the MC140 was due to its weaponry loadout and its powerful engines, allowing it to maneuver quickly into a 'cross of fire' position, capable of destroying larger ships as for example a Pellaeon-Star Destroyer. It saw extensive action during the Sith–Imperial War, starting in 127 ABY, while seeing further use within the Galactic Alliance Remnant.
The MC140 Scythe-class battle cruiser featured 18 heavy turbolasers (3 batteries), 36 turbolasers (6 batteries), 12 ion cannons (2 batteries) and 24 proton torpedo launchers (4 batteries) along with 12 tractor beam projectors (2 batteries) with most of it's weaponry aligned at the front. The normal hangar loadout consists of 48 starfighters and 4 shuttles, while it carried 5,200 crew members and 1,500 additional passengers. Furthermore it was equipped with a hyperdrive of Class 0.75 while featuring also a backup hyperdrive of class 0.8.
