A joint initiative between the CEDF and Kuat Drive Yards, the Quicksilver-Class Assault Frigate has been designed in a similar vein as the Ardent-Class Fast Frigate, with emphasis placed on striking power and speed as opposed to defense. This design also follows the Ascendancy-Class in its joint inclusion of both Imperial and Chiss design philosophies.
