Description:
The Dissident-class Light Cruiser is an escort ship introduced during the early days of the First Order. With the Imperial Sector, once home to the proud nations of the Pentastar Alignment and the Imperial Remnant, was united, shipyards of Yaga Minor, Ord Trasi, and Jaemus came together to help craft new warships for the fledgling, yet growing, Imperial nation. While the honor of the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer went to Yaga Minor (with the assistance of Jaemus), Ord Trasi would construct models such as the Dissident-class Light Cruiser and the Maxima A-class Heavy Cruiser. Unlike its sister, the Dissident-class was smaller in size, yet had the familiar wedge shape of other ships within the navy. It very much looked like a Vindicator-class, a heavy cruiser of the Old Empire's navy.
As a light cruiser, its role was rather simple. It could carry a complement of two battlions of 1,200 men and a contingent of 12 starfighters. Its armament was 15 light turbolaser batteries, 10 point defense laser cannons, 10 concussion missile launchers, 6 tractor beam projectors.
