Yeah, at some point Shel is going to get a Sex in the City shopping montage-esque upgrade of her dated fleet

I would recommend utilizing the TIE Vectors, the TIE Predators, and... the newer FO TIE models. Need help with fleets, I have pretty much helped everyone I can around in the FO with their fleets XD Well I will also need capital ships, so I will probably take you up on that, any advice from the community would also be appreciated as well!

So, the key capital ships we tend to use are the Turbulents, Pellaeons, and Autarchs (light star destroyers vs the more point expensive star destroyers). Those are 64 points each. The traditional ISDs are 128 points each. You can have a Resurgent, but it takes up all 256 points to do so.

Corvettes, frigates and cruisers type of stuff?

As for smaller ships, the recommended carrier would be an Maxima A-class. Other support ships: Victory I and IIs, Vindicators, Marauders, Ardents, Lancers... pretty much anything. Whatever works for you in terms of what kind of fleet you are trying to build and for what purpose.
Some of the newer stuff we have info for in our Database area (such as the Maxima A) as well as ships that had vague details (like the Pellaeon and Turbulent).

Well, I’ll take some time to come up with something before I join in the RP; deciding stuff on the fly can be a little annoying.

It definitely can be, but we are here to help you! Do you have a discord by chance? It would be a lot easier to communicate with you and get your fleet up and running! Our community utilizes discord for 99% of our OOC stuff anyway.

Umm, I don’t think so. I’d prefer not using it in any case.

Gotcha man! Anyway, if you make a fleet template and wanna ask for opinions, just post it here!

Well, after Garrick showed me his ultimate Imperial Fleet, and looking a little at your fleet, I think I have composed something that is somewhat decent:
1 x Turbulent Class Star Destroyer 2 x Maxima A Class Heavy Cruiser 2 x Victory II Class Star Destroyer 1 x Enforcer Class Picket Ship 2 x Ardent Class Fast Frigate 2 x Raider II Class Corvette 6 x Lancer Class Patrol Frigate
I have no idea how to do my complement though.

I always suggest the Pellaeon if people take any sort of interdiction field. You get to put that Enforcer and Turbulent into one ship. BUT the Turbulent is not a bad ship at all itself. I also typically only go for 1 Maxima A considering its carrier role, but that's just me.
As for your fighter complement, just calculate how many starfighters you have from all the ships provided. So in total, you have: - Turbulent: 72 - Maxima A: 216 (x2) - Victory II: 24 (x2) - Enforcer: 0 - Ardent: 12 (x2) - Raider II: 2 (x2) - Lancer: 0 Total: 580 starfighters
I will say that I have made a restriction on two kinds of starfighters for Imperial Fleets. Only 12 starfighters of either the TIE/vn or TIE/Phantom considering their stealth tech and considerable versatility (especially the TIE/vn). I just wanna keep that number reasonable. I would recommend checking out Garrick's custom entries: the TIE Vector and TIE Demolisher. As for good mainstay fighters, TIE/fo and TIE Predator are good. And for any sort of elite fighters, TIE/sf.

So should I go for a third Victory instead?

You can, just my suggestion really. If you want to keep the 2nd Maxima A, go for it! I think it is more heavily armed than a Vic 2.

Well, as fighter spam isn't really needed, since we are not dealing with regular TIEs I assume, I'm either going to break that cruiser up into a Victory II, or into 2 Vindicators. Not sure really. Your recommendation?

Both are good choices, so really comes down to what you feel is more needed. Considering your fleet, adding on the Vindicators might diversify your fleet a bit too much so maybe go for the 3rd Victory II. And yeah, we aren't using the swarm tactics of the old Empire. First Order is like the successor states that came after Endor where pilots were more valued and weren't viewed as expendable.

Well, I’m going with the Victory then, it seems to be better in terms of firepower anyway, and I don’t really have to worry about carrying capacity too much.

This looking right then?

Well, I swapped the Raiders and two Lancers for Marauders, but aside from that, seems good.

A good choice on the Marauders. I feel the Raider is good, but Marauder is the better choice. So with that in mind:
1 x Turbulent Class Star Destroyer 1 x Maxima A Class Heavy Cruiser 3 x Victory II Class Star Destroyer 1 x Enforcer Class Picket Ship 2 x Ardent Class Fast Frigate 4 x Marauder Class Corvette 4 x Lancer Class Patrol Frigate
= 408 starfighters
I think I got that right.
I say it looks like a good fleet you got there!

Alright, that sounds good! And thanks!
Also, would you mind if I copied your army? I'm not really sure how to make a good one.
