Lianna was one of the first worlds brought into the Alliance, and had subsequently existed in a state of peaceful isolation from much of the war, as the borders between the Galactic Alliance and First Order had shifted and expanded. But while this isolation had kept them safe from the horrors of the war, it had also allowed a small group within the Galactic Alliance to rise up. A group known as the Purifiers.
It's membership included a handful of members at several different levels of command throughout the Galactic Alliance. All uniting to form a common cause: Purify the Galaxy of the First Order and establish freedom by what ever means necessary. To that end, they had constructed a secret training facility on the edge of Lola Curich, where they could go about their business.
No one within the Galactic Alliance knew of its existence, and the locals paid it little heed. Viewing it as one of many Government projects that were on going across the planet. Thus, the Purifiers were able to begin Project: Oversight...

Project Oversight - Brandon Ragnor. Code Name: Guardian
Brandon stood in darkness, his helmet casting a dull blue glow into the darkness. Several progress bars popped up on his HUD as the armour systems started to spin up. Several more lines of blue lit up across his armour as more systems came online. Several cables violently ejected themselves from the back of his suit then, allowing the onboard power core to take over. Brandon nodded with satisfaction as the systems loaded up and showed green success marks.
He raised his right arm then, clenching his fist to make sure the control systems were adjusted properly. Making minor adjustments to the feedback settings so that he wasn't gripping too hard or too loose. With the fine tuning done, he reached out and grabbed the Heavy Blaster Rifle. Lifting it to hold it with both hands, he took a couple steps forward into the large marked off area.
His comms started to come on line then, with a handful of voices all speaking across various channels. He set aside a processor to go through the data and provide him with the most relevant information per his situation. His attention was then drawn to several red flashing lights that started up. A last minute warning to let anyone know to clear the area if they weren't meant to be there. Brandon cocked his rifle Guardian is ready...
Copy that. Drop in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Brandon braced himself as the floor beneath him gave way, sending him on a several hundred meter long drop. His visual sensors immediately started analyzing the battlefield as he plummeted toward the ground. Enemy position data was loaded in from the last intel he had been provided, while his new scans updated their positions. Combing it all to work out the best plan of attack.
The shock absorption systems activated as he impacted the ground, mitigating any damage by dispersing the energy of the sudden loss of momentum. He took a moment to rise to full height. Several nearby hostiles turned their rifles on him, their blaster bolts harmlessly impacting his armour. He raised his rifle then, and let off several rounds. Clearing his immediate vicinity of hostiles. He switched his comm link to a new channel then Celeste, what is your status...

Project Oversight - Celeste Starborn
Celeste and her twin sister Mira had been dropped off into the battle field several minutes earlier. Both sides of the battle had long been engaged in combat, with Alliance Soldiers storming the First Order Stormtroopers. The two sisters had been tasked with one job: take out the enemy commander. The only problem, was that he was on the other side of the field of battle there were no clear lines of sight from where they had started.
So they had set off across the battle field, doing their best to stay behind the Alliance's front line. Celeste knew, however, that eventually they would need to push into enemy territory.
Which was where things were now. She tucked herself down in between a pair of rocks atop a small rise. Her rifle extending out as she took shots at the encroaching Stormtroopers that were starting to push the Alliance Forces back. Another few minutes, and they would be able to take out their objective. But not with all these hostiles. Which was why she had made the call. It might affect their final mission score, but their lives were more important than a perfect score.
Celeste fired off another round before hearing the sound of Guardian landing. Her comm link coming to life a few moments later as he requested a status report. Celeste pulled back into the cover of the rocks and held her finger to her ear, activating the device Hold up five mikes from the target location. Smilies are pushing past us, their main attention is on the Alliance. But we are starting to draw attention. If you can hold them off our backs. One of us can get a clear shot on the enemy commander... There was a moment of silence. Celeste guessed that Guardian was scanning the area to pinpoint their location, before her comm link came to life again Copy that. Support is incoming... She might have relaxed a little at that knowledge, but until Guardian actually arrived to their location, they were still in trouble. Something she was quickly reminded of a few moments later as several blaster rounds skimmed the rocks and passed within inches of her left shoulder

Project Oversight - Mira Starborn
Mira did not like the thought of the debrief they would receive as Guardian came crashing into view. But she was glad for his arrival as several Stormtroopers went flying through the air as Guardian's shoulder impacted a group of them. Within moments, the distraction he was causing had drawn enough attention away from the two sisters. Mira rested her rifle on a rock then, sighting in her scope on the commander of the First Order forces Target acquired... Accounting for cross breeze and distance... She waited until she exhaled, and pulled the trigger. There was a split second pause as the shot traveled through the air. Time seeming to slow down until it landed on target, the commander collapsing a few seconds later. Mira inhaling again as she felt a sense of relief wash over her, before the world seemed to shimmer and fluttered out of existence. The room was filled with a sterile white light, revealing the training room.
The entire place was several football fields across and reached up several stories. The floor panels reformed into a flat surface as Mira and Celeste stood up, with Guardian quickly joining them as dozens of scientists flooded the room taking notes. Questions quickly filled the air, asking them about the mission and what they thought had gone wrong. It was almost insufferable how criticized their decisions were. But Mira knew this was how life was for them. So she bore through the following hours, grateful to finally fall asleep in bed when night finally fell
