Gulomi-Class DropshipShip Class: Support Ship Role: Shuttle/Armed Transport Ship Length: 98 meters Agility (A): 2 Defensive (D): 4 Offensive (O): 0 Speed (S): 3 Special Gear: 5 (Troop Space, Cargo Space, Submersible, Cloaking Device) Description:Being designed for planetary assaults by the Quarren Dominion, the Gulomi-Class (which translates to 'dark waters' class) Dropship is meant to deploy a large number of troops quickly. With the majority of the interior being filled with water, the transport is especially designed to carry amphibic droids and aquatic droids although oxigen gets produced nontheless. While it can also be maintained without any water inside, there are no further safety measures implemented on board, as the dropship was designed for floating cargo. Due to its large cargo space, the Gulomi-class is capable to feature a maximum of 200 troops aboard. Alternatively 2 vessels up to a maximum height of 35 meters can be stored inside the 65 meter wide-cargo room. The vessel itself is piloted by four crewmen at the front cockpit, where the cloaking device and the power generation is housed. Although most of its energy is drained by the cloaking device, making the design of redundant shielding impossible to implement for Mon Calamari Shipyards engineers, the shielding of the dropship is nontheless strong. Equipped with a class 3 hyperdrive engine, no weaponry and only the most basic navigation systems aboard, the Gulomi-Class is vulnerable on long distance raids, once discovered due to the Dominion's ruthless military doctrines. Some Dominion troopers tend to nickname it jokingly as the 'invisible coffin', as the chances of survival for this ship are unlikely if discovered by anything with a larger firepower than a regular starfighter.

Hmm, now that is an interesting design. A question, though, you did puposely mention the height of the vessels it could carry while mentioning the width of the cargo bay? So the height of the ship is between 40-45 meters tall and the craft inside are best to be no longer than thirty meters each?

Hmm, now that is an interesting design. A question, though, you did puposely mention the height of the vessels it could carry while mentioning the width of the cargo bay? So the height of the ship is between 40-45 meters tall and the craft inside are best to be no longer than thirty meters each? I estimated what would probably be realistic, if the shown design is accurate in terms of my proposed size for this support vessel (98m in this case), as the front of the ship is roughly 30-40% perspectivewise. So lengthwise you would be correct, as I want to represent the reference as best as possible. Furthermore I looked up what size most vehicles in Star Wars would be - and an AT-AT alone is slightly around 22m tall and 20m long. So I guess most favored vehicles in a similiar size category could float around within given space - which for the Quarren Dominion, who primarily design this vessel shouldn't be a major problem. The dropship was also designed in hindsight of the entity Shaxad, whom you can't transport within a regular shuttle like the Bantha-class assault shuttle and possibly similiar thematic freight - that's why I deem cargo space also as an important factor for this vessel, additionally to troop space (which was calculated by double the ammount what the Bantha-class is capable to carry in JvS, as it's twice the size of the Bantha + rounded up with additional 40 men due to the cargo room of the dropship being optimal for storing aquatic species on several layers since they would float within the water during the duration of the flight). I hope the explanation makes so far sense, as I was quite uncertain when it came to the design of this vessel. The cloaking device as its unique feature, making the most sense for an unarmed troop transporter, is quite powerful, so I might add a limit of 4 ships per personal fleet on gentlemen's agreement upon it, if the ship gets approved, similiar to how the TIE/vn is handled with a limit. The Gulomi might be an interesting storytelling device for a lot of possible arcs within the Dominion (and of course for those, who acquire this transporter by their own), but I want to ensure that it's not getting abused due to its powerful technology.

The cloaking limit isn't really required. At least by our standards at present. If you wish to only have a limited number of these however, I'm sure other writers would understand.
