Description: Fantail-class destroyers were warships made by the Corporate Alliance.
Around 34 BBY, Corporate Alliance Fantail-class destroyers along with Sikurdian privateer vessels blockaded the Malastare Narrows to settle a dispute over fuel allocations. In the subsequent Battle of Malastare Narrows, Alliance Admiral Trench lost his flagship and the blockade was disbanded.
Fantail-class ships later served in the Confederate Navy during the Clone Wars. Amongst other scenes, they were a prominent part of the Confederate fleet at the Battle of Belderone.
The ship's armament consisted of 25 light turbolasers, 20 light quad turbolasers, 10 point-defense laser cannons, 20 light point-defense ion cannons and 3 tractor beam projectors. The ships complement was 72 starfighters as well as 400 troops.
