The Imperial II Star Destroyer ”Imperial Wraith” bursts out of Hyperspace on the Obroa-Skai systems edge, far from the planet, far from everything. The mighty warship cruised at a quarter of full sublight speed, skirting the edge of the star system. The 74th TIE Interceptor Wing on board the ship has a full squadron getting ready to be deployed for patrol.

Released in a local patrol, twelve Tie Interceptors are on the move from the Hanger Bay of the "Imperial wraith". Dropping from their racks in pairs, the deadly fighters roar to life with the signature scream of the twin ion engines they are equipped with, two by two they go until deployment is completed, off on the assigned routes.
Ovose walked the command deck of his starship, they dropped from hyperspace to fix a minor problem with the hyperdrive, he stood in full dress of an Imperial ShadowGuard in front of the front view section of the bridge, Obroa-Skai was but a faint glowing speck among the starry backdrop of the system.

With repairs finished the patrol is recalled to the Hanger Bay and their racks, once flight secure, the vessel disappears into Hyperspace once more.

A single Nebulon-B frigate emerges from Hyperspace in the Obroa system. Moving swiftly, the ship heads towards the Library world and enters a standard orbit. Within moments, contact is made with planetary control, and a wave of shuttles descend from the ship to the planet's capital.
Aboard the shuttles were dozens of Clan Australis personnel. Each shuttle carried a full load of troopers, and over the course of hours, several hundred had been ferried down to the planet's surface. Above it all, the frigate Serroco kept a close watch on proceedings.

A flash of pseudomotion silently announces the arrival of a leased KDY heavy transport into realspace just near Obroa-Skai. The transport moves in at a rapid velocity towards the world. In its wake, two larger flashes announce the pair of brand new KDY Golan III defence stations. As they emerge from hyperspace both gargantuan stations shed their one-use hyperspace cradles and continue towards Obroa-Skai on inertia and maneuvering jets.
Obroa-Skai's new Mandalorian defences were well positioned to protect the capital. Two Golan IIIs in a near orbit, close enough to protect one another, and ground defences, that were about to be deployed by the KDY Transport that was making runs to a string of Clan Australis outposts. Though this would was only temporarily under the Clan's control, they'd hand it over to the next Clan in good order.
The heavy transport skimmed Obroa-Skai's atmosphere, and disgorged one, two, three large emplacements, their fall retarded by quickly expanding parachutes. As soon as the third was deployed, it angled upward sharply and headed out of the system at speed, passing the two Golan stations just moving into their final orbital positions. Once clear of the planet's gravity well, the transport returned to hyperspace for its next scheduled delivery.
The three packages were a pair of W-165 planetary turbolasers and a single V-150 Ion Cannon. They'd deploy in a triangle less than a mile across in the planetart capital of Obroa-Skai. Setup and testing once they landed would take less than a week. Once they were operational, the world could protect itself, for a time, against invasion.

Several colony ship transports exited hyperspace. After lengthy discussions with Clan Australis, Clan Ordo had been given the keys to Obroa-skai. While Australis found less than a passing interest in the world. Damocles had been very interested in ensuring control of the library world was maintained. There was a great wealth of information hidden here, and it would be a boon to the Mandalorians to have access to it. Although the Aruetii were busy fighting amongst themselves for now. One day, their attentions would turn upon the Mandalorians. On that day, knowing their enemies weaknesses and possible caches of hidden weapons would prove useful in defending themselves. The Colony ships checked in with orbital control, before heading for the capital

The Auxitius Command emerged from hyperspace first, followed closely by the Keldabe-class Battleships and Crusader-class Corvettes. The ships slowed down and entered a geosynchronous orbit as one of the Keldabe-class Battleship and a trio of Crusader-class Corvettes detached from the main fleet. Pulling into defensive position alongside the Golan-III defense platforms. Once the ships were in position, the remainder of the fleet disappeared into hyperspace once more

*Exiting hyperspace above the once ravaged world of Obroa-skai, the fleet of Yuuzhan Vong ship, commanded by Warmaster Krul, began to descend upon the planet. Standing at the helm of his flagship, a Miid ro'ik, Warmaster Krul issued orders.*
"By the will of Yun-Yammka, this galaxy will feel our wrath once more! The gods are displeased at our inaction. And so, we must appease them with blood from the heretics!"
*As the Miid ro'ik, Vua'spar Interdictor and Suuv Ban D'Krid began working their way through whatever defenses lay above the planet, the eight Ro'ik chuun m'arh descended to the surface, intent on deploying the Scourges to the surface.

*The meager defenses left above the vacant world were no match for the might of the Yuuzhan Vong ships. As everything was thoroughly inspected for any living beings, the eight Ro'ik chuun m'arh continued on their decent to the surface, unabated.*

*Standing at the helm of his flagship, Warmaster Krul continued to receive status reports from his warriors on the surface. The pacification and securing of the planet was proceeding according to plan. Minimal losses has been sustained on their side of things. Orbit was secured, and patrols had begun. On the surface, his warriors were carrying out their objectives. And so, the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of Obroa-Skai continued.*

*With the securing of Obroa-Skai, the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the planet had actually been a quiet thing. The paltry defences left behind from the planet's previous occupants had been swept aside with little effort, a disappointment to be sure. But it had resulted in a victory none-the-less. Yun-Yammka favoured them, at least for the time being. To continue earning and keeping the favour of the gods, Krul needed another target. He had one in mind, though they had to find it first...*

*Obroa-Skai was finally secured in the name of the Yuuzhan Vong Empire. Yun-Yammka favoured Krul and his warriors this day. It was a glorious day for the Empire. Establishing a surface base was next on the agenda, while orbit around the planet remained secure for the time being. If anyone had learned of the Yuuzhan invasion of Obroa-Skai, they were either uninterested or thought little of it. Either way worked to the benefit of Zing and his forces.*

Obroa-Skai System - Death Watch Staging Area. Obroa-Held Orbit.
Emerging from hyperspace in the Obroa-Skai system, and moving into orbit around the gas giant of Obroa-held, seven of the eleven ships of Clan Vizsla's naval forces gathered. Standing on the bridge of the Kandosii-Type Dreadnaught, Kyr'tsad, Aliit'alor Vizsla stood fully armored, ready for the upcoming fight. But first, Clan Awaud needed to arrive to bolster their numbers and add Orrick and a few of Awaud's best commandos to the strike team that would be boarding the Yuuzhan Vong's flagship...

Standing at Brayark's side, Zhae was ready to follow him into the waiting maw of the Yuuzhan Vong. Any doubts or reservations about the mission had been cast aside. This day, it was for the glory of Death Watch as a whole, not Clan Kelborn or Clan Vizsla. And soon, the entire Assembly would hear of their deeds here...

Emerging from hyperspace, eleven ships of Mandalorian design bearing the markings of Clan Awaud, emerged. Standing on the bridge of the Hettyc Aran, a Kandosii-Type Dreadnaught, the armored figure of Orrick Awaud could be made out.
"Right. Hail the Kyr'tsad. Patch me in directly with Vizsla. It's time to get this over with..."
The aged Mandalorian sighed as he was patched through to the Death Watch leader. Hopefully this little excursion would progress a lot more smoothly than he expected it would, but at the same time, this was the Yuuzhan Vong they were about to be dealing with. Anything could happen at this point...

Obroa-Skai System - Death Watch Staging Area. Obroa-Held Orbit.
With the arrival of Clan Awaud's vessels, the holographic image of Orrick Awaud himself, appeared on the bridge of the Kyr 'tsad. Speaking to the image through his helm's external speakers, he addressed his comrade. This is it, vod. We will do this in a two pronged orbital assault. Dreadnoughts press against the main Vong ship, while all support vessels engage the lesser targets. An escort of my best pilots will run interference for us, while we board the Vong flagship. The commandos of Clans Kelborn, Awaud and Vizsla will assist us in disabling the ship, while Zhae, myself and you, Orrick, will look for the leader of this incursion and attempt to cut the head off the dragon...so to speak. It was a risky plan, but given the intel the currently had, and the size of the force they were bringing to the fight, the Mandalorians currently held the upper hand. Though that wasn't going to last long, if the Vong called in reinforcements. Once they were on the Vong flagship, the small strike team was on their own, while the fleet dealt with the enemy ships. This would either be a defining moment in Death Watch's history, or it would be a complete and utter shit show. At this point, it could go either way. Though, hopefully Death Watch and their allies could pull off a win. Rally support and weaken the current Mandalore's influence. Only time would tell...

Listening to Vizsla's plan, Orrick nodded in agreement. Bold, risky, but carefully calculated. He was impressed, to say the least. And at this point, it was either defeating to Vong or dying in combat. Either one was fine with him at this point. The Clan was strong and Henoc was a capable leader, should things happen to him. Speaking to the image of Brayark that was still visible on the bridge of his ship, he informed the leader of Death Watch of his status.
"Understood, vod. My best commandos are ready to go. We make for the Vong flagship on your order."
Bringing up his left hand, he closed his fist and thumped it against his chest.
"This is the way."

Obroa-Skai System - Death Watch Staging Area - Obroa-Held Orbit.
This is the way. echoed Brayark as the transmission was cut between his ship and Awaud's. Turning to his officers, he spoke. You know the plan. Let's make it happen. All members of the strike team, head down to the shuttle bay. Once we arrive in system, we make our move. With a unison of 'aye sirs' ringing out, Zhae and the others left the bridge, preparing for the fight ahead. Giving one last look to those on the bridge, Brayark followed suit. This was the defining moment for them. And it would be glorious!

Obroa-Skai - High Orbit. The seven vessels of Clan Vizsla's naval forces emerged from hyperspace above the Vong-held world of Obroa-Skai. Standing in the hangar bay of the Kyr'tsad, with the rest of the Mandalorian strike team that would board the Yuuzhan Vong flagship, Galden Vizsla, Brayark's brother, was commanding both Vizsla's ships and those of Clan Awaud. Together, they would engage the Yuuzhan Vong ships while the strike team made its move. It is time. An kote at Kyr'tsad! As the rest of those making up the strike team echoed his words, they climbed on board a Kal-Class Fighter/Transport. Joined by Orrick Awaud and a handful of his men prior to leaving Obroa-Held's orbit, this was the moment that would either make or break Death Watch...
