Designed by The Organization and built by Aegohr Manufacturing, the Ascension-Class Orbital Facility is actually an academy for gifted students. Meant to educate the masses, the station was built for the sole purpose of ensuring that talented and gifted individuals are recognized and get the education they deserve. Armed with nothing more than 24 point defense cannons, the orbital facility also boasts a hangar bay large enough to fit a vessel up to 100m with ease. Exterior docking clamps are available for larger vessels. Protected by powerful shields as well as reinforced armor across the hull, the Ascension-Class is a hardy station, capable of withstanding a fair amount of punishment. Housing a maximum population of 8,620 people, including staff, students and the station's operational crew, like all station designed by The Organization, the Ascension-Class was designed to be entirely self sufficient.

Considering this station is nearly double the Minuteman-class Orbital Platform you submitted, yet has just more than a probably a fifth of the firepower, I'd say offense is a 1. If we all feel that this is properly set as a 2, then perhaps the other submission may need an increase in its offense stat. Holding my approval on both until someone else chimes in.

Hi The Elusive Man, at this time, the RPA has put out a discussion on the matter of sensor jamming and stealth technology on space stations, which you can find here: boards.jedivsith.com/thread/4365/stations-sensor-jamming
The reason for this, as is described in the opening post, is that we have very few examples in canon of stations with stealth/sensor jamming technology. Please feel free to join in on the conversation over there. Once a decision is reached, we can move forward with discussing this further.
