Description:
Once more the Chiss draw inspiration from Imperial allies. Seeing the formidability of the Pellaeon, Tennyson set out to make improvements that suited the needs of the Chiss people. This ship was going to be a rally point for the fleet. A bulwark in the storm of battle. The shields and armor of this ship were the toughest that could be made or acquired by the Dominion scientists and engineers. The result was a sluggish fortress that could weather nearly any assault. But a fortress is not complete without weapons and defenders of its own. Boasting an impressive array of weapons, the Dominion Destroyer had 40 heavy maser batteries, 20 light maser batteries, 20 point defence maser emplacements, 10 point defence ion emplacements, 20 torpedo launchers, and 8 tractor beams. The ship could also carry 2,000 troops and a vast array of vehicles for ground assaults, but most importantly, repelling boarders. The ship relied entirely on carriers or other vessels to provide fighter support and to keep it from being surrounded by faster ships.
