Endurance-class fleet carrier (Oasis Refit)
Ship Class: Light Star Destroyer
Ship Role: Hospital Ship

Description:
With the Endurance-class’s performance being somewhat lacking in its time and later being overshadowed by newer designs, many of these old ships were slated for deconstruction and to be salvaged to create ships like the MC95(c). But once more, Lynne saw an underperforming ship and was convinced she could put it to better use.
Originally capable of carrying 132 fighters and 12 transports, this ships hanger space was cut in half (60 fighters and 6 transports) to make room for a massive bank of bacta tanks (some large enough to contain a Hutt comfortably) and trauma centers. While other portions of the ship were redesigned and outfitted to the point this ship could handle most medical procedures that would be done by a major hospital on the surface. This was a choice for when moving through warzones, the ship could administer aid to the civilian population as needed.
Her armament was also significantly reduced in areas and upgraded in others. While all turbolasers and ion cannons were removed, more point defense weaponry and tractor beam projectors were added. Point defense count was increased to 30 while the tractor beam count came up to 8.
Lynne also took inspiration from her original command, a medical frigate based off the Redemption, to include vastly upgraded defenses of reinforced armor and top of the line shielding, and redundant critical systems. A choice that would allow the Oasis the ability to move in, soon after a major ship was disabled or destroyed to pull survivors aboard with its tractor beams with minimal danger. Though hopefully its status as a medical ship would offer some additional protection, as the ship was never to fire upon an enemy vessel, unprovoked. It would only carry a token few fighter squadrons to escort U-wings and U-55s that would take up most of the ships hanger space.
