Seeing the shortcomings of the MC85's offensive capabilities, The Coalition's best engineers got together and designed a refit of the MC85 to provide it far greater offensive capabilities. Due to the base vessels underarmed nature, the greater offensive capabilities came only at a slight cost to the vessels over all speed and the loss of the sensor stealth system.
