Blackguard Forces, spewing forth from the Gage-Class Transports over Weogar, arrived in Buerhoz to secure the city proper.

With Clak'dor VII falling into compliance with the rest of the Blackguard controlled systems, it's exports of cybernetic implants became a high commodity. The technical labor, high tech and art exports were also highly sought after as well. Many citizens within the Blackguard enjoyed the higher standards of living, which included expensive art and entertainment. Despite it's poisonous atmosphere, the exports were still highly sought after throughout Blackguard territory and the larger galaxy, for a steep mark-up, naturally.

123rd Regiment - Hawking Battalion Equipped with breath masks built into their helmets, Hawking Battalion, led by Lieutenant Colonel Kiefer Orson, ensured the city of Buerhoz was safe and secure of the Imperium and the citizens of Clak'dor VII. Since the Blackguard invasion and subsequent claiming of the planet, the 123rd Regiment was burdened with the role of providing security for the Bith planet. Given the amount of technology that is produced, Hawking Battalion has increased security checks and random check stops for technology smuggling. Aside from that, the rate of crime had dropped a significant amount, giving the Bith a safer society.

123rd Regiment - Hawking Battalion. With orders coming down from command, Hawking Battalion had tripled their patrols of Buerhoz and clamped down on their security, tightening it even further. Word had it that Clak'dor VII was becoming a core world of the Imperium, as rumors of civil unrest and desertion carried over the holonet. Nothing was believed until it was confirmed, but the fact that such a thing could happen, was disconcerting to the members of Hawking Battalion. Even still, they continued to carry out their orders, as loyal and faithful soldiers did.

123rd Regiment - Hawking Battalion The rumors of civil unrest and desertion had been confirmed, by the newest resident Overseer, Aria Walden. As such, loyalty checks had been performed to all active regiments and army units. Surprisingly, aside from the battalions stationed within the Sith Worlds, there were very few within the remaining active frontline units that had proven to be disloyal to the Imperium and their Sith'ari. Overseer Walden had personally seen to a handful of public executions of those being disloyal, but aside from that, the rest of the troopers and officers were committed. Which allowed Hawking Battalion quickly resume their normal schedule of patrols and inspections, ensuring that Buerhoz was safe and secure for the Imperium.

123rd Regiment - Hawking Battalion Order 212 had come down the chain of command. Since the order had been issued, resources and troops had been slowly arriving to Clak'dor VII. Buerhoz specifically, wasn't seeing much in the way of reinforcements or extra troops, but the steady shipments of resources from across the Imperium hadn't gone unnoticed. As such, regular inspections had been made mandatory for all incoming and outgoing shipments, both to ensure product quality and to ensure everything remained secure. The last thing they needed right now was to have supply chains be thrown into disarray due to some disgruntled worker or soldier somewhere along the line.

123rd Regiment - Hawking Battalion The aftermath of Order 212 was an increase in supplies, available resources and troops and tightened overall security. With Clak'dor VII becoming one of the three primary core territories of the Imperium, tighter security measures weren't unexpected. By the time they had been implemented, the general population adjusted quickly enough, with the odd few disturbances. Though nothing escalated beyond detaining a rowdy civilian.

*The domed city of Buerhoz slept soundly, not know that they would soon be the stepping stone that would change the course of their planet forever. A month ago a new investor from offworld named Bozil Kirret had bought a failing technology company and had expanded it's scope, especially in it's medical technology division, creating a small economic boon in the Bith dome City. Travis Slane, his face covered the mirrored mask of Darth Orvos couldn't help but smile at the thought of how easy it had all been. It was such a simple step, but money talked and bred influence. A failing company, a fake name, and an influx of credits, it bred goodwill from the community as new job opportunities are opened. It also gave a very convenient vehicle for bribes to politicians. Disguised as requests for favorable business arrangements it really gave him a map of the political landscape and who could and couldn't be bought, which was useful information for the second stage of his plan.
Which is why he was now crouched in an unfortunately foul smelling corner of an alley just off one of the main walkways near city hall his senses reached out around him, waiting for his target, his mind for once quiet, completely focused on the hunt. It wasn't long before the presence that he was found nearby. <<It would be a simply matter to stop his hear now, from here and make it look natural>> *This Sith ignored the voice in his head, reveling in the task ahead of him. Reaching out with his mind he spent a few minutes subtly influencing the nearby Bith, convincing him that he was exausted, that his wife had already been waiting at home too long, that he missed his children, that taking the shortcut would be the best way home tonight, despite the lack of illumination and the seriously creepy shadows that usually had him talking the long way around....

*A dozen weeks and half again as many disappearances had been highly beneficial to Darth Orvos, unbeknownced to the rest of the city's population. It always amused the dark lord of the Sith how easy it was to put your own people into power in a democratic society, so long as you were willing to wheel and deal and eliminate the competition when necessary. Though it wasn't the planet's biggest city, it was now firmly under his control both politically and economically. Using a variety of assumed names and accounts he'd acquired or run out of business most of the city's major businesses and placed his own people (or those he had enough blackmail to keep in line) into all of the relevant offices. It had was a slow and subtle approach, but sitting in the abandoned warehouse in the outskirts of town the Sith couldn't help but giggle with joy, somewhat maniacally, at how well it had all turned out. Sudden spikes of fear radiated from the force, though rather than being alarmed the sith drank it in, feeding on the terror as the shackled shapes in the dark corners of the warehouse shifted and poured terror, fear, and even anger into the force, enjoying this fruit of his recent labors on a more personal level than the actual success of the takeover. *
<<Yes yes, enjoy the fear, but can we get back to work now?>> *The sith cursed the voice that only he could hear for interfering with his moment of triumph. Of course all it cared about was work and knowledge, when would it ever learn the importance of enjoying the moment.* "When there isn't more work to be done" *The doctor chided as he removed the mirrored mask from his face and hung it from a nearby peg, followed quickly by the heavy cloak and weapons belt that completed his usual prowling look.* <<Spoilsport>> *The doctor ignored the voice that only he could hear and the yellow eyes reflected back from his mirrored mask that seemed to be rolling in annoyance as he took the lab coat from the adjoining hook and turned back to his work, a middle aged Bith male laying across a nearby table, his chest cavity laid open, but still breathing and looking around, conscious but paralyzed.* "This might hurt a little bit, but I need to understand your kind better if I am to rule here." *His voice was remote and clinical, though not without sympathy. He did not bring pain for fun, but for knowledge. He couldn't control the Bith if he didn't understand how they worked, and quickest way to find those answers was to go directly to the source and so the doctor began his latest incision, clearing the field of his vision and ignoring the maniacal laughter in the back of his mind as another part of him drunk in the pain and fear around them, feeding off of it while the doctor kept his focus on the long night ahead.*
