Shield-class Clawcraft

Description:
In a throwback to the days before the Nssiss-class Clawcraft became the standard starfighter of the Chiss Ascendency, the Sword and Shield Dominion commissioned a pair of new Clawcraft designs. These designs were to be inspired by the Dominions name, and thus was born the Shield-class Clawcraft. Whereas the Sword-class traded out armor for speed and attack power, the Shield-class kept much of the heavier armour of the Nssis-class, while adding on 4 Envelope Shield Projectors. The design thought being that the Sword-class and Shield-class Clawcraft would work in tandem. With the Shield-class Clawcraft able to shield itself and project out an envelope shield to protect up to 4 other Clawcraft. Like the Sword-class, the Shield feature 4 Maser Cannons to attack with and a hyperdrive.
