*The taste of her lips... the feeling of her touch... for a moment he was taken back to Naboo, the house in the lake, where he had taken his first lover to escape from the war that he had been forced into. But that was a life time ago... she was now gone and he was left with only the war that had seemed to have taken him heart and soul. With Scarlette... in her embrace... he felt as though he could breath again. The next few hours passed with shared bliss and no small amount of wonder. Scarlette was quite a woman, and after the first several bouts with her it took him a moment to recover, but by then it was clear she wasn't through with him and though it took him another or so he found the stamina of his youth once again and used every ounce of it to please her well into the night.*

Early Morning, Bespin Time Scarlette woke slowly as the rays of the sun fell on her. What had transpired in the night replayed itself slowly in her mind, as she remembered the frenzy of pleasure that had engulfed the two of them the night prior. After that, part of her felt invincible, like she could take on the whole First Order herself and come out unscathed. The other part of her, however, felt like staying there, replaying what had happened again and again. After lying still for a bit, she turned her attention to the man who had kept her in his protective embrace for the duration of the night. The satin sheets covered his naked frame as he slept peacefully beside her. The warm rays of Bespin’s sun filtered through the skylight, playing across his face. She didn’t want to wake him, so instead she remained beside him, soaking in the sunlight and simply laying there, enjoying his touch as she had done the night before.

*Altair felt Scarlette stir and opened his eyes. Truth was he had been awake since dawn, he wasn't able to sleep well anymore and yet he had slept for at least a few hours gently and peacefully with this woman in his arms. He wrapped his arm around her his hand capturing her breast between his fingers and squeezed gently pulling her firmly against his chest, her naked form pressed against his. The heat from the previous night was not completely gone from him he had been thinking about her - the way she had moved - the things she had done - for at least the last hour. He moved forward and brought his lips to the base of her neck right below her ear and kissed her softy before finally finding his voice.
"Was that what you were expecting?"

“It was, Cheri, and so much more...” She could feel something about him. It was almost as though she had helped replace a bit of the humanity he had lost because of the war, because of seeing comrades fall. She couldn’t have know what that felt like. Turning around so she faced him, Ms. Vesper pressed herself against him in a passionate kiss. Just as Altair thought about her, he had filled her mind for the short while she had been up. The night before had been a dance of desire, with him leading her to new, unexplored places. She felt his embrace tighten, and she loved it. She loved the security it provided her, the safety it gave her. Not just from the outside world, but from the thoughts that tore her apart on a daily basis. She had to grapple with the choices she had made, and was consequentially doubting herself constantly. He made her feel sure of herself. Gave her the stable base she had been looking for since she began her career. “Cheri... what is this to you? Is it perhaps an outlet for each other, that we are never to speak of again.” She paused, allowing herself the luxury of control. “Or is it something more... something that you desire...”

*Altair's hands shifted as she turned to face him, one tracing down her back... lower, the other wrapping around her shoulders as he leaned forward to kiss her as deeply as their position allowed. His heartbeat increased as he felt the warmth in her body rise just as his own did - they were quickly moving down the same path they had walked the night prior - that had led them to this very bed. Her question did not necessarily take him offguard - he had been considering the answer himself for the first few hours he had woke, and for some reason he did not seem to have a problem telling her.*
"I followed you halfway across the galaxy woman... you think i did that just for a private audience in your bedchamber?"
*He rolled her onto her back, parting her legs and moving between - perhaps not gently, but with some skill, and pinned her to the bed her hands now at the sides of her head, his own fingers gripping as gently as he could manage but with enough force to hold her still beneath him as he moved closer to her - in every way possible, making it perfectly clear where the control really was.*
"I havn't had the luxury of desires..."

The young noble writhed in pleasure as Altair showed her who was the dominant one in this relationship. And she loved every bit of it. Truthfully, his efforts to control her rewarded Scarlette with more pleasure then she could have hoped for and thus, she didn’t mind. Every bit of her screamed for more, as she was brought to a climax of ecstasy. His response pleased her as much as the sensations of the acts being committed upon her body. She loved him, and he loved her. That’s all this really was. Two people trying to show their love for each other. And she enjoyed the simplicity of it all; the sheer joy she derived from it. She was his, and had no problem with it. “Mm... Cheri, you spoil me...”

*Altair’s furst thought when a moment of clarity came to him somewhere between her lips and her thighs was how dangerous this was. He was just one soldier in the entire galaxy, but Scarlette was someone who would be under constant pressure voices scrutiny, under the gaze of both the Galactic Alliance and perhaps even the first order, if word of this systems liberation did not serve their interests. He could not protect her from them, just as she could not shield him from blaster fire on the battlefield... He exhaled his lips now pressing gentle kisses into her stomach as he explored her body.
”Something you are used to I am sure...”

Between her sounds of pleasure, she was barely able to speak, but somehow found it in her to respond to him. “Mm, Cheri, you wouldn’t be wrong about that, although no one has spoiled me quite as much as you are able to...” 12:00 P.M, Bespin Time After much more of this spoiling, they had both finally departed the bed to resume their official duties. Heading for her desk, she noticed the neat stack of papers and other things, the arrangement of the papers, pens, and books neat and orderly, much to her liking. Then she noticed an anomaly on the table. Next to the champagne glass from last night (which in it self was an anomaly), there was something on the desk. Laid against the base of the glass, she couldn’t tell what it was, with it partially obscured by some papers. Walking carefully over, she was about to draw her small holdout blaster, when she saw something that made her stop her hands before they reached the small holster concealed against the azure folds of the outfit she wore today. Sitting there, atop her books, was a rose from Naboo. She knew immediately where this was from; no one else on the city, save for her cyborg assistant, could gain access to her office like this. Picking up the rose, she brought it up to her face and breathed in, capturing the essence of the flower. Quickly fetching a vase and some water, she put the rose in the vase before setting it on one of the empty display pedestals in her office. There were other things, such as sculptures and other works of art, but this was the first thing she had put on display that wasn’t simply visually appealing. The first thing that actually held any sentimental value to her. With that, she returned to her work, ceasing only when she felt a familiar presence sometime after dinner. Altair.

*Since he had dressed and left her to her own devices he had walked half of the Baron-Administrators complex by foot, examining it for weaknesses in security as well attempting to get a better feel for his surroundings. He had passed orders for several changes to be made in patrols as well as security checkpoints at various choke points across the building - all designed for the singular purpose of keeping Scarlette safe - she seemed content to believe she had to peoples affection on her side, but Altair was 'one of those people' and he knew the truth. They didn't care about politicians, they didn't care who ruled... they cared about the ability to feed their children and keep themselves warm in winter - if winter was even a thing on this planet - he really was unsure.
The last test he had for the security force was for him to move from the entrance to the Baron-Administrators personal office without being detected. Surely they had little chance of locating him if he wanted to be unseen, but he would give them at least the benefit of not using his cloaking tech. He had made it probably 150 feet from Scarlettes chambers when he timed the security camera's to run by the old time rather than the one he had asked them to implement. By the time he had turned the corner he was approached by two of the security officers he had met earlier in the day. They drew their weapons on him and he raised his hands with a smirk and a nod. Still, 150 feet was too close for his liking. He gave the guards a few more bits of advice and sent them on their way before making his way at last to Scarlette's door, which he found unlocked and entered his gaze passing around the room as it always did - he didn't like that large window... perhaps a force shield or a blast door outside the window screen on a proximity or crash sensor. His eyes moved to the rose within the vase and he smiled slightly and finally his look turned to Scarlette - she was a vision as always - he couldn't even tell she had barely slept the night before.*
"Baron-Administrator..."*He whispered with a bit of a sarcastic grin on his face as he bowed at the waste - a bow he had seen many of the Jedi do from time to time when addressing senators and the like.*"... May have a moment or two of your time?"

Scarlette had been standing by the window, watching the city go by. It was beautiful the way the lights of the city contrasted against the clouds of Tibanna gas. Taking a short break from her work. The moment Altair entered her office, however, she knew that she was finished working for the day. Turning around as she heard the comforting tones of Altair’s voice, she turned around to see Altair bowing before her. She set her pen on the table and took the few steps over to where Altair was standing. “You May rise, Captain Sirraf.” She gestured for her guards to leave. They obeyed, moving out into the hallway and covering the lone entrance to the chambers. The door sealed up behind them. “Now, what do you request of me, Cheri?”

*Altair remained still as the guards left, only when they were gone did he rise and lifted his eyes to Scarlette's. He smiled softly and moved across the floor to wrap her up in his arms - kissing her deeply. As their lips drifted apart moments later he smiled against the soft flesh of her neck, kissing her gently once more right below the ear before finally pulling back enough to speak.*
"Your security has been given a few lessons... hopefully their incompetence wont get you killed if some first order operative sets his sights on you. I'm still not sure about that window... A sniper with a high powered plasma rifle... on any one of a thousand rooftops out there and you'd be dead before your body hit the ground..."

“Cheri, you should know. I can defend myself. And yes, I know the window is a security hazard, but the view is mesmerizing, wouldn’t you say?” Scarlette loved the sensation that swept over her as Altair kissed her. It made her feel... elated. His mere touch spread goosebumps across her skin. She knew that he was doing all this just for her safety. Still, she couldn’t help but tease him about it. “The First Order doesn’t know about any of it. To them, we’re just another independent system out in this vast expanse that is the galaxy.”

*Altair shook his head slightly setting her down. His eyes turned once again to the window as he glanced out of it at the orange and red clouds - no doubt a product of the heavy content of gas in the atmosphere. The sun was going down, nothing like the sunsets over the lake country on naboo, it was a different sort of beauty, something more grande. He nodded slowly in agreement with her statement.* "That sounds like something oddly similar to what another administrator of this facility believed... And I know you can look after yourself Scarlette, I know you're strong..." *Altair leaned back against her, his lips nipping at her own. "Are you sure you wont allow me to leave a garrison here...?"

“That would look strange to the First Order. Then they might have a reason to investigate. So no garrison for me.” As the two of them kissed, Scarlette tried to note every detail of his face, so that she could call upon it at will. That face would continue to follow her forever, a pleasant memory to refer back to in times of strife and discord. “But I know that’s not why you’re really here, Cheri...”

*He nodded slightly his smile vanishing into a more serious look. He couldn't stay here... There was a time when he would have, but he lived a different life now. He had a growing army to see to, and the Resistance was still young, still new. That was in part why he had come.* "Then I must place my trust in your... highly trained security force?"*He tried to chuckle to hide the fact that he still wasn't happy with the situation.*"And there was a few other things I did need to discuss with you; however, they could wait until morning? If you had other matters that required your attention?"

“Not all Cheri, I enjoy hearing your opinions.” Reveling in his embrace, Scarlette held his head close to her own as the two of them showed their love for each other. She realized what a mess she must look like, with her hair in a mess and the flushed look on her face. She technically had other matters to attend to, though all of those were of little significance compared to her lover. “So what is it you wish to say?”

"I know you will want to remain here until things are a little more solid, and I understand that... But as I said on Contruum... Nothing has been heard from Bothawui since the distress signal we picked up... I've got to go. Bothawui is a crucial system for the Resistance, if we could get their government to support us, and their shipyards back in order to make fleet... in a place unknown of by the First Order?" *He shrugged slightly letting the question he didn't really ask hang in the air for effect. If he could do what he sought it would be a great boon to the Resistance, a Shipyards that was not linked to the Galactic Alliance was something that would help them greatly. He raised a hand to her cheek, caressing it gently as he tucked a few wild strands of hair back behind her ear with an affectionate smile.* "However my men are still prepping... so i have a few more days... if i wont be in the way remaining here?"

“Certainly not... perhaps you can remind me what happened last night, Cheri...” On a small computer, several alerts beeped from the fleet, signaling they were completely ready in case of battle. Keying in a few things to the pad, she sent an affirmative to them. “If you wouldn’t mind, I will join you on Bothuwai. I’m sure my fleet could be a good reasource to you.”

*Altair smirked and dipping a shoulder scooped the Baroness into his arms and carried her towards her bedchambers, his lips already moving up her neck to her ear as he whispered a reply*"Forgotten already have you? I'll have to be more thorough tonight..."*Thoughts of Bothawui and her offer to accompany him quickly faded from his mind as he tossed her unceremoniously into bed - still fully dressed and tearing his shirt from his body fell atop her.*

As Altair scooped her up, she knew that she was in for quite a night. Her dress quickly joined the rest of the duo’s clothes on the floor. As thoughts of the buisness discussed dismissed themselves, lust quickly clouded her mind as she was thrown into the bed. The man made her feel good... while the night before was one of raw pleasure and lust, this one was of refinement, as the two of them knew exactly what they wanted from each other, and they knew how to give it to the other. As she lay sprawled beneath him, every passing hour brought new wonders to her, as signals of pleasure overwhelmed her mind. The two of them stayed up much longer than what would have been considered “normal” for the two of them...
