Description:
The Empyrean was built to help ships stay in the fight during long drawn out battles. Able to extend the range of its shields so that it could envelop many capital ships at once. This was so that the ships could have safe harbor in the middle of battle, to recharge their own shields, get patch jobs from the stations repair crews, or just mount a more resilient defense. The stations redundant shield generators ensured that even under the heaviest bombardments, there would rarely be an overload. And when not extending its shield range, the shields were nigh impenetrable. This all came at the coast of lower counts of weapons, meaning that this station could not stand alone. However, when was a Jedi ever truly alone?

The stations teeth were mostly in its complement of fighters. 20 full squadrons of fighters (240 fighters) in total could be found across the many hangerbays of this station. The Empyrean was also home to a standing force of 3,200 troops to help repeal boarding parties. Lastly, the armament of the station itself: 30 turbolaser batteries, 20 ion cannon batteries, 50 point defense cannons, and 10 Tractorbeam projectors.
