Description:
The Chevalier-class Destroyer is a starship, native to the planet of Serenno. Utilized as a heavy patrol ship in fighting off raiders and pirates by the Great Houses, this vessel had a more powerful armament than its sister ship, the Gallant-class Escort Cruiser. The major difference, besides the degree of firepower, was that the Chevalier had a lower capacity for starfighters and carried a complement of soldiers to board disabled ships. Its advanced maneuvering thrusters allow for quick realignment in order to fire its main cannon while the powerful shield generators enough its well protected in a fierce fight. The reinforce prow is to help protect the deck cannon as well as support its firing trajectory.

Its main armament was a singular deck cannon, mounted on the front of the ship. It was a combined weapon, utilizing a mass-drive cannon and an ion cannon together, creating a devastatingly powerful artillery. In addition, the vessel had 4 quad heavy turbolaser turrets, 20 dual medium turbolaser turrets, 20 ion cannons, 30 point defense laser cannons, and 4 tractor beam projectors. Its complement was 24 starfighters and 800 troops.
