Description:
The Raiju was designed as a Light Frigate combining the new design philosphies of the Jedi, with old weaponry tech from the days of the Sepratist movement. Specially, the Raiju was designed around a main Ion Cannon that charges up a shot which, when fired, is designed to inflict devastating Ion damage to enemy vessels. Causing their shields, and ideally primary weapon systems, to be taken offline. 10 Quad Laser Cannons were the ships only other offensive weapon used to ward off attacking fighter craft. But For those starfighters that did manage to get through, the Raiju featured a reinforced hull and a shielding system with redundant generators.
