Another FIrst post. Go me. The Stealth-X left Cloud city quickly, ducking the Cities security patrols deftly and launching into the vast expanse of Space. Cruor angled the direction he needed to go, punched in the coordinates to the Nav computer, and left Bespin behind. He figured Slade would follow. If not, not really his issue. It was time to reconnect with his now Dead Masters old faction. There was vengence to be had.

Right behind Cruor, a ship of an unknown make made it into orbit around Bespin. Slade followed as the other ship blasted into space, letting Cruor lead him to places unknown.

Once upon a time, in a galaxy far far away...
JEDIVSITH Jensaarai episode I: Mission on Bespin
Pirates! The floating city of Tibannopolis on the planet of Bespin has become taken over by several pirates groups seeking to conduct a grand exchange of black market merchandise. However, their presence has unfortunately become nothing but terror for the citizens of the nearby Cloud city. Seeking help from whoever in the galaxy can rid the pirates, the Baron Administrator of Cloud City has contacted the Jensaarai from Contruum to aid them. Now the Jensaarai head to Bespin to begin their mission...
=Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh= Exiting hyperspace, the Starwind-class pleasure yacht reached the Bespin system. It's sublight engines flying the ship toward the orbit of the planet Bespin, as Garwig stood in the co-pilot seat. Turning his head to speak to the yacht's pilot, Yumiko Kikuchia, the Saarai-kaar spoke to her. "I'm going to go into the crew quarters to speak to the others. I'm going to let them know we've arrived now. Contact me if anything happens until I get back."
=Yumiko Kikuchia= "That's alright, Garwig. You can count on me." The Zabrak woman with long raven-black hair told the Saarai-kaar. Herself looking at the navcomputer to make sure the yacht was headed in the correct direction of the planet.
=Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh= Getting out of the co-pilot seat, Garwig began his walk out of the cockpit and walked into the main corridor to go into the crew quarters. Looking to find his fellow Jensaarai to inform them of their arrival in the star system.

*Crystaall sat in a corner of her secluded area aboard the ship. Underneath her was a rug with a large rebel insignia and her weapons surrounded her. Crystaall was sitting, but not on the rug. She was floating in midair, focusing and studying her memmories through rising meditation. She kept her focus as others talked and prepared for the mission ahead. She noticed the ship exit hyperspace and as it stopped, she fell to the ground with a thud. She opened her eyes and stood up. Dusting off her black trench coat and her green camoflage pants she began to arm herself with each weapon she brought. Two pistols, her favorite swords, her Tusken hunting rifle, her lightsabers and her greatsword. She patted her thighs, feeling for her knives and sighed in relief when she felt their handles. Crystaall stretched her arms and legs, and did a few push-ups to wake up her body. She was ready, She walked to where the others were and waited for Garwig to show himself.*

Ali pulled the sleeved gloves over her arms, feeling the thick, soft fabric run over her skin. The gunship was just about to exit hyperspace above Bespin, arranged to link up with the Jensaarai forces that Lady Tanith had suggested might need assistance. GALSAF had still been on Contruum, helping with reconstruction after Lord Nexus' attack on the planet, when the Jensaarai missions had been planned. Ali knew there was an Mandalorian offensive planned against the Jedi of Yavin 4, though she didn't see that her mission on Bespin had to conflict with the upcoming invasion."Alright boys, let's get going," Ali called, watching as the commandos of 4th Section checked and re-checked their gear, which remained minimal considering the nature of the operation itself. Ali and her platoon were going in as covert operators, intent on assisting the Jensaarai in whatever they had planned. 4th Section would insert, melt into the local population, and remain prepared for the ambush they had planned for the pirates running the black market trades that had been organized to take place. Ali thought of the comm device installed within her left ear, then waited for the reversion to realspace before putting out their arrival announcement.Any Jensaarai forces, this is Leftenant Ali Hadrix, of GALSAF. We are arranged to assist you in your operations on Bespin, please respond.Ali waited for a response, passing the time by assuring her commandos were properly outfitted. Leather jackets, trousers, shirts, baklavas…these commandos would blend in effortlessly. Weapons were concealed beneath closing, equipment kept to a minimum. These soldiers were prepared, as they always were, for the mission at hand.

The almost omni potent Imperial Knight Finnick dropped out of hyperspace. Having turned off the artificial gravity to divert power towards the hyperspace generator his curly red locks began to float in the space around his head. They would have obscured his vision had he not used to force to steady them and tie them in a bun. He had arrived on time, only just. The jack of all trades master of none thumbed the switch and spoke to his allies that were no doubt in space already. Yo Ho Ho this be Finnick.

Enbilulu checking his tools, Maahes making sure the medical supplies in his backpack were all there, while the Iron Sisters known as Pearl and Kasha checked to see if their HRD bodies were functioning properly. Upon noticing Crystaall enter the crew quarters, all four of them waved hi to her, while Pearl and Kasha decided to go over to her to chit chat. Wanting to know if this was Crystaall's first time on Bespin or a similar planet, as it was both the twin shard/HRD girls first.=Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh= Entering the crew quarters to speak with the others, the Saarai-kaar stood at the room's entrance as he addressed them."Hey guys, just letting you all know we've arrived at Bespin's orbit. We'll in Cloud City soon so we can get the mission briefing from it's Baron Administrator. So make sure all of you are prepared." He said, and noticed that the four other participants for the mission besides Yumiko at the cockpit weren't in the crew quarters."Where are Johnny, Aiko, and the bounty hunters?" =Pearl= Hearing the Saarai-kaar along with the other Jensaarai in the room, the long blue-haired Iron sister named Pearl answered him after Garwig asked his question."Johnny Vee and Aiko are in the cargo bay recharging themselves. Meg and Dantess are in the galley checking their weaponry." =Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh= "Thanks, Pearl." He thanked the feminine shard in an HRD body, then addressed everyone in the room again."I'm going to go check with Meg and Dantess. Can one of you go check with Aiko and Johnny? Let them know we're about there." Garwig asked. If Crystaall wanted to do it, she could. If she'd rather stay to prepare more, that would be fine too and one of the others in the room would instead do so.=Yumiko Kikuchia= Meanwhile, back inside of the cockpit, Yumiko received a transmission from Ali Hadrix as the zabrak waited for the signal from planetary traffic control to head to Cloud City. Hearing Ali over the comlink, Yumiko adjusted the subspace radio frequency to focus better on the connection and responded to her.:: Lieutenant Hadrix, this is tararsaarai, Yumiko Kikuchia of the Jensaarai. We read you loud and clear. I'll inform the Saarai-kaar of your arrival. We're just about to head to Cloud City for mission briefing, so please do follow us once we head there. Over. ::=Yumiko Kikuchia= Shortly after that, the zabrak also received a message from the Imperial Knight named Finnick. Without a doubt one of the knights that Xeonon Solomon had sent to the mission, of which Yumiko would be sure Garwig be happy to know he had arrived. Hearing Finnick, she pressed a couple of buttons to focus more on the frequency connection with the Imperial Knight.:: Finnick, this is Yumiko Kikuchia of the Jensaarai. You the Imperial Knight sent by Xeonon Solomon? Over. ::

Copy. We'll see you there. "And it's Leftenant, you twat." Ali muttered as she killed the transmission and rapped her fingers against the cockpit hatch. "Follow that staryacht, but keep your distance. These guys stick out like a womprat at a strip club and I'm not looking for this op to be blown before we've even killed anyone." The pilot, Leftenant Afosh Innishly acknowledged Ali with a thumb up from his station. Ali turned back to the troops as one of them, Sergent Tun Bilyers jerked his chin up at her."Sound like you need an ego boost, Lieutenant. I wouldn't mind doin' the honors." He quipped, grabbing his crotch, a poodoo-eating grin on his face. Ali stuck a finger out at him in a rude gesture. "If you want to get into my pants, you're going to have to try harder than that, or I'll have your balls for earrings," she snapped. Throughout the gunship's bay, commandos whooped and hollered. Bilyers shook his head, chuckling to himself. Ali felt the gunship shift under her feet as Leftenant Innishly brought the vehicle around the aft end of the Jensaarai staryacht. After the briefing with the city's Baron Administrator, Ali expected to be able to get right to work. The plan, as far as she could tell, was to ambush the pirates organizing the black market event, though she hadn't confirmed whether that would be before or during the scheduled dealings. Before hand would be the best option, teams of Jensaarai and Ali's commandos could be used most efficiently to neutralize pirate leaders and seize their cargo. If they waited until the deals were already underway, they'd be running into a slew of readily armed criminals who were already itching to shoot one another. Silent and swift, that was the key. Stick around for a few days, get a feel for the locals and gather all the intel they could on the pirates already in the city. Cloud City itself was fairly large, but not too large that a platoon of commandos and their Jensaarai counterparts couldn't seek out and dispose of all the criminals arriving for the black market trades. Ali just hoped there wasn't too much overlap in command, her orders were to assist the Jensaarai, but GALSAF regulations were clear: Ali didn't recognize any authority save for her own, not even Cloud City's Baron Administrator. If the Jensaarai wanted to take these pirates head on, Ali would have little choice but to join them, however, if she wanted to see the operation through. But if they got too stupid with it, she'd be forced to take the mission into her own hands. Ali glanced down at her pack, which was laying on the bay floor beside her. She reached down and pulled a thick, grey shawl from it, then lifted it over her head and felt the fabric slide down around her, covering her arms and chest and back. The shawl hung down to her mid-thigh, the perfect length for hiding her rifle, which was kept on a tight sling, close to her chest. Keying the viewscreen installed in the bulkhead behind her, Ali activated the ship's outside view, and watched the gunship's approach towards Cloud City."Here's to hoping this all goes well." She muttered to herself.

]Aye I was sent here by Xeonon, figured you could use the help of a Master on this mission. Where do you want me? As he floated in space, Finnick popped open a tab of nutrients and put it into his mouth, something told him this was going to be a long couple of days. The Master armourer of the whole Imperial Knights also had himself a second hobby. It involved computers and mechanics, something he had a natural affinity for. Occasionally he would intergrate some into his armour or another but on the whole he did not get to practice much. Despite that he was one of the orders best and brightest when it came to things like this.
During the trip he had brushed up on his skills, both reading books and practical training. Almost as if on cue he used the force to pick up his lightsaber and hold it in front of him. Disassembling it piece by piece with his mind Finnick let the pieces swirl around him before piecing it back together. Although he had done this time and again it was a testament to his skills the speed of which it is done.

Although he had done this time and again it was a testament to his skills the speed of which it is done. =Yumiko Kikuchia= :: Good. Just follow our Starwind-class yacht into Bespin. We'll be flying to Cloud City for mission briefing. Over. ::The zabrak lady told the Imperial Knight over the cockpit's comm system, then saw on the viewscreen that traffic control had granted permission from all the ships that they can enter the gas giant. Taking her datapad, Yumiko sent an e-mail to the Saarai-kaar to inform him of Finnick's arrival and that she was going to fly the yacht into Bespin. Placing down the datapad, she then grabbed the control yokes at the pilot seat, then maneuvered the starship into the gas giant to head for it's lifezone. Allowing both Finnick and Ali's ships to follow the yacht to Cloud City.=Johnny Vee and Aiko= While the Saarai-kaar left to go see to the bounty hunters, once Crystaall Sehefadu entered the cargo bay to meet with the two droids, she'd see the two finishing their recharging. The HRD and the holodroid hooked up to a fusion furnace by small cables attached to the backs of their necks to the power unit. Once both the droids removed the cables, Aiko responded to the Jensaarai.=Aiko= "Thanks Crystaall. Me and Johnny will be right there in a couple of minutes." She said. Allowing Crystaall to then either return to the crew quarters, or go to the cockpit to meet with Yumiko and Garwig.=Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh= During Crystaall's little talk with the droids, Garwig had gone to the galley to speak with Meg and Dantess. The conversation was brief, and as soon as the Saarai-kaar received the e-mail from Yumiko of her piloting the ship into Bespin, Garwig excused himself and headed back to the cockpit. Once there, Garwig stood by Yumiko as she flew the yacht through the lifezone of the gas giant. They could see on the cockpit's GPS screen that the two floating cities, Cloud City and Tibannopolis locations were highlighted for which direction the ship had to go to reach either of them. Knowing they had to go to the one where they'd meet the Baron Administrator, the zabrak directed the Starwind-class to Cloud City.
Upon arrival there at the city, both Garwig and Yumiko would see on the cockpit's heads-up display of the grand view of Cloud City as it floated within Bespin's lifezone. As they approached their destination, a twin-pod cloud car came flying past the three flying ships.=Twin-pod cloud car= :: This is Cloud City sky patrol. State your business here or we will have no choice but to shoot. :: =Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh= Pressing the button to the yacht's comm, Garwig responded thusly."This is Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh, the Saarai-kaar of the New Order of the Jensaarai. We've been contacted by your Baron Administrator regarding a job he wants us to carry out for him. If you'd please, we'd appreciate it if you could escort us to the Baron Administrator's office building." =Twin-pod cloud car= :: Oh, it's you guys! Sorry about that. The city is under tight watch from anything outside due to the increased pirate activity at Tibannopolis. We shall escort you to the Baron. ::
=Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh= Watching as the cloud car flew in front of the three ships, Garwig told Yumiko to follow it to the administrator's building. It wouldn't take long of a trip, and eventually the ships arrived at a tall skyscraper at the heart of the floating city. Seeing a message on the viewscreen of which skydock to land on, the Starwind-class along with the two other ships headed for the place for them to land at. Finding the large skydock, Garwig told Yumiko to land the ship as he exited the cockpit. The landing legs of the star yacht touching down onto the skydock's surface, the Saarai-kaar headed to the boarding ramp of the ship so that he may soon step off and greet the Imperial Knight at the skydock, as well as Ali Hadrix .

Bespin. A planet where the main commodity was an all-important one.
Tibanna gas. While other technologies existed and others were always in development, nothing beat the use Tibanna gas had in weapons manufacturing as well as starship manufacture. It was the reason lasers fired, the reason starships were to be feared. It was also why Bespin was a planet critical to any ruling faction to hold on to. Without a control of the economy here, getting the key material was an expensive and not always easy proposition. He who controlled Bespin normally controlled the wars.
Given the state of unrest slowly canvassing the galaxy once more, Bespin's usual border patrol was cut from its normal strength. Sluis Van and Sullust were both the focal point of engagements between the newly risen Sith Empire and it's forces and the Jedi Republic. Coming from planets far out in the reaches of the galaxy, namely the ancient Sith stronghold of Dromund Kaas, the Sith had arrived with powerful numbers and began without warning to subdue unprepared planets. Bespin and other Outer Rim planets were vulnerable to attack, so the Core planets of the Republic were in the process of bolstering defenses from the inside-out. It meant for the time being that Bespin and the wealthier Outer Rim strongholds had no choice but to send their own forces to mitigate the Sith advance or else they felt a foothold of too great a size would be gained by the Dark-side armies. Hence Bespin's usual retinue of 6 Venator-class Star Destroyers and the attached starfighter compliments was cut to a third of that: only 2 Venators remained with their shuttles, starighter squadrons, and troops intact. Bespin was needless to say, more vulnerable than usual.
It was precisely what Sith Shadow Scouts using the lauded Sith interceptors made from the template of the one stolen from the Naboo stronghold. While stealth technology had since advanced past the primitive and expensive designs that model used, the interceptors otherwise looked nearly identical but actually carried more equipment to make stealth missions even more efficient. The Shadow Scouts had reported to Darth Vitiion, field general in the current sector campaign near Bespin of the lessened revenue.
And so Vitiion had decided to act. Known, like many Sith, for her cunning and ruthlessness, Vitiion was not one to use the shadows for anything more than a shortcut to land an absolutely crucial punch through your defenses.
This was why her flagship, a Pellaeon-class Star Destroyer designated Black Iris, came out of hyperspace aimed directly for the two Venators orbiting Bespin like a pair of watch dogs. With her were a pair of quarter-sized Ardent-class fast frigates. They packed a punch but were much smaller than her flagship. Given the nature of her plan, this was all the Sith navy could spare her to try and take such a crucial planet amidst other engagements. Hence why the plan was absolutely perfect: swoop in with a roughly equal attack force to the reduced defenses while the major engagements were in heat, and proceed to do battle. No one would expect the assault, because Darth Vitiion had made sure, much to the chagrin of some of the other Sith field generals, that her forces were kept out of sight of any Jedi scouts or intel gatherers. No one knew of the dimensions of her fleet nor of the mere existence of it, so it was a complete wild card going into battle.
Starfighters were already discharging en masse from the Pellaeon's belly, squadron upon squadron of Rogue-class starfighters, and simply fanned out into attack formation as her three ships approached.
Long before then, the Venators were already on high alert and warming up the offensive systems to repel what was surely a Sith attack. Their bays opened, belching a vastly superior number of starfighters into the void of space. These were a mix of V-19 Torrent Starfighters and X-Wing Starfighters and were swarming in defensive patterns around the two Venators while they lined up into a side-by-side formation ready to respond. On the bridge of the leftmost Venator designated Matrix, Jedi Knight Keth Agrav, a Shistavanen from Uvena Prime, stood trying to read into the opposing commander. What he felt through the Force was only ominous, as if the target was shielding the true identity through the Force. It led to the Jedi saying outloud to the ship's Captain who stood nearby monitoring systems reports and issuing orders,
"There's a Sith on the main vessel, Captain. It appears this battle has become much more dangerous."

The Captain, a man in his late 30s and gaunt of feature, turned from his various monitors and raised an eyebrow,
"Are you sure, Jedi?"
Keth nodded. He knew, despite the long-standing integration of the Jedi into the military during periods of crisis, that most non-Force-users were always skeptical of the power the Jedi were capable of wielding. But time and time again the Jedi proved their abilities only to be questioned once more. Either way, he insisted.
"Definitely. I can't even scout out the mentality of anyone in that enemy force. Whoever it is definitely has a good mastery of the Dark side to stifle my abilities."
The Captain checked up on some more systems analytics before answering.
"Unless that Sith can use the Dark side to win this battle, I doubt there will be much interference from him."
At this, Keth began to realize just the scope of what the Sith on the opposing flagship had in mind. That shroud over his Force awareness was not just to prevent any information gathering, it was the mask of a Battle Meditation technique in the works. The Sith was going to be bolstering the coordination of his Fleet to levels beyond normal biological capabilities. This fight could go from an even one to something far messier.
"Captain, that Sith isn't just blocking my senses. That's just a side effect of his Battle Meditation technique."
The man turned full to face the Shistavanen.
"Battle Meditation? What are you saying?
Keth stalked forward a few feet and glanced out of the forward viewports. He said with his back to the Captain.
"Using the Dark side, the Sith is going to strengthen the coordination of her pilots. You'll be outmatched as if by a cohesive hive mind, Captain."
Feeling apprehension enter the Captain's mind, Keth turned abruptly and raised a hand, which cut him off from blurting out anything rash. Everyone knew what capabilities a hive mind could achieve as long as they could recall the Swarm wars.
"Captain, I do not have the right skills to combat or break his Battle Meditation. The only way I can interfere would be to confront her personally."
At this the Captain became alarmed but also had a hint of suspicion.
"I need you to get my to that flagship and I can transfer to it. Then it'll be up to me to reach him and break that concentration by way of physical force."
Halfway through the request, the Captain was already shaking his head.
"We need to maintain our defensive formation. It is the best way to repel these invaders."
It was Keth's turn to shake his head. He stepped right up to the Captain, looking down his snout at the man, who despite being above average for human height, was still shorter for the average Shistavanen Jedi.
"Your defensive pattern will not hold against a Battle Meditated task force, Captain. It's either be annihilated or get me there to stop him."
The conversation stopped there. Time was running short. Starfighters were being deployed from the enemy flagship and were beginning to enter formation. There was no change in the movement of the three Sith ships. They continued to barrel forward without any intent to pull up. There was no communication attempted between ships, because both sides knew exactly what they were doing. This was going to a battle and no one could change that.
"Captain, if you can close the distance, I can use my WhiteCloak fighter to sneak across. But I need to have those shields down first, obviously."
The man walked a few paces away, looking for himself at the rapidly approaching cruisers. He set his shoulders and spun on his heel.
"Okay. We'll focus our fire offensively. But hurry, Jedi Agrav, because once we do that, there's only so long before augmented enemies pierce our opened-up formation."
Keth nodded and was already loping from the bridge, mentally preparing himself for the dangerous mission that lay before him.
The fleets continued to close the distance. The Matrix's captain was ordering the destroyers to line up for an initial volley. There was one modification to the Bespin Defense Fleet that no one had ever learned about. Thanks to a special experimental Tibanna gas, the range on the heavy turbolasers was longer than any other ship's in the entire galaxy. Bespin was set to release the upgrade to the right bidder when the war broke out, so instead of letting the enemy catch wind of it, the Bespin government had decided to upgrade it's own ships and any Republic ships which remained on Bespin for an extended period of time. The Sith would be getting a nasty surprise very soon...

On the bridge of the Black Iris, Darth Vitiion was seated on the hard bulkhead floor and enacting the Dark side tainted Battle Meditation on her Fleet. Seeing the entire engagement and every soldier and pilot in her entire fleet through the Force, she began to weave them all into concise patterns without them even realizing how out-of-control of their own actions they were right now. The distance was closing. Very soon, her physically larger force would pummel the defense remnant and the key Outer Rim world of Bespin would fall, even if connecting worlds of Sullust and Sluis Van did not. Her victory would be lauded and her honor increased as the campaign continued.
Amidst these thoughts, however, the Dark side rippled with sudden danger as lasers arced out towards her Fleet from the heavy guns of the two Venators. Initially, she was absolutely certain that they were guaranteed to dissipate harmlessly before they even reached her ships...
Her expectation was shattered as the dangerous bolts lanced into the forward shields of her flagship. The shields glowed brightly before flickering with overload from the unmitigated barrage. Warning chimes sounded from various spots on the bridge, barely in her consciousness.
"Forward shields at critical. Generators 1-B and 1-F are malfunctioning."
"Frigate Irate is reporting minor hull damage to the starboard flank and critical shields on half of the coverage areas."
"Frigate Indolence is reporting loss of one heavy turbolaser on the port side and full shield collapse in connected area."
This didn't seem possible! How could lasers exist of that range and not be known to the Sith Empire's Intel? How were her scouts or any Imperial Scouts completely unaware of this? Turning disbelief into anger at the stunning surprise, Vitiion strengthened her resolve in the Battle Meditation meld and bent her fleet's intent aggressively on overpowering the enemy ships.
But another volley came lancing in and just as the shield crews redirected power to the most vulnerable areas to avoid true crippling damage, the lasers were seen spreading out instead and picking a few of the swarming fighters, completely unaware, out of existence. The spread fire had once again completely caught Darth Vitiion and her fleet off guard. These ships were definitely wily...
...but now the range for the heavy turbolasers on her own ships was met. They fired back a volley, aiming into the general mass of the defensive ships, who were suddenly rapidly advancing. This allowed a scattered amount of the spread to make contact, but the majority were off the mark because of the sudden change in the trajectory of the enemy vessels. Vitiion was beyond understanding why her Battle Meditation was not compensating for these unusual tactics. But she realized it all came as part of her initial surprise at the strategy. She had not centered herself on the Dark side and instead was paying too much attention to the smaller details.
Weathering the heating frenzy of the bridge as the officers worked overtime to compensate and prepare the fleet for contact with the enemy, Darth Vitiion lost herself by dropping deeply into the Force, and began to lose sight of particulars and began to understand the overarching flow of the battle and her men in particular. Nothing specific seemed to matter except impulses and instincts.
But this was specifically what Jedi Knight Keth Agrav was planning on. As he guided his WhiteCloak starfighter out of the Matrix, Keth activated all of the sensor-avoiding countermeasures the ship possessed. His target was simple: get to the hangar bay once the two Venators had blown a hole in the shields of the large Pellaeon- destroyer. It was now sending out waves of deadly energy towards the defending task force, and the starfighter wings possessed were already lancing forward in droves to engage the enemy fighters.
So Keth zipped along at the back of the pack, trying to remain hidden in the sensor-wash of other craft, making to slip by without attracting any attention en route. Now he just had to wait while volley after volley struck against the Pellaeon's shields which were already showing wear and tear.
The engagement started as it usually would. Starfighters launching into a frenzy of dips and dives and turns as they fought to destroy the opposing fighter while saving their own hulls from all opposing damage. Keth zipped with guidance by the Force through the chaos without firing a shot and without even being noticed by a single enemy Rogue-class fighter. He was forever monitoring the shields of the flagship as the distance became shorter...he needed those shields to fall, but it appeared the shielding crews were doing an expert job of diverting enough power from less crucial operations to maintain them in response to the impacts of the incoming lasers. Needless to say, the Sith's Battle Meditation was working well. More blips in the starfighter fray from Keth's forces were being lost than the Sith forces were. The defending casualties would only grow if Keth didn't break in quickly.

The Matrix's captain was staring intently through the forward viewports, where the view to the enemy ships was partially obscured by the furball of starfighters mixing it up between them and the shields coloring slightly as enemy turbolaser bolts impacted off of them. Various status calls were bouncing around the bridge, but the captain was only focused on the console before him: enemy shield strength. It was slowly decreasing...but the way the Pellaeon and it's adjoining frigates were pounding methodically at the weak spots right before his shield crews could cycle to cover them meant his ships were in a race they were probably going to lose.
He turned on a heel to his nearest comm officer.
"Connect me to Jedi Agrav."
Mere moments passed. In that time a particularly heavy volley shook the bridge but did not knock the captain awry. Then, his personal comm dinged with a ready signal.
Jedi Agrav.
I'm almost there, Captain. Are the shields down yet?
Can't exploit a weak spot. That Meditation is really reducing our chances here, Jedi.
There was a brief pause. A very low growl was audible.
Aim for the prow. Give it all you got. Don't spread it out. Just lay into that forward region with all of your combined guns.
The Captain squinted, not as if Keth could see him.
We won't break through that way, Jedi.
You don't have to. That's the point. If they really will cycle enough of their remaining strength to protect that spot, I should be able to exploit the areas I need to.
I'll go with it, Jedi. You get there, and I'll make it easier for you.
The link dropped. Almost simultaneously, Keth's signal vanished from the map. Holding back the brief panic, the captain reminded himself that the Jedi probably engaged his cloaking countermeasures so that he could sneak right up on the Pellaeon. Now it was time to make sure the Jedi could infiltrate that Star Destroyer without a hitch.
The command went out, and then both Venators focused all of their fire at the Pellaeon's prow. Sure enough, the shield strength cycled over. to compensate. Now the Captain just had to wait and hope that the Jedi held up his part of the bargain.

To those unaccustomed to it, flying completely unseen next to an enemy's capital ship was one of the most eerie events to be experienced. Keth, on the other hand, no stranger to the scenario, handled the complete ignorance by the enemy flagship to his starboard and the enemy frigate to his port as he desired: with relief. Everything was going according to plan.
Even then, his sensor suite did him the favor as he prepared to line up on the Pellaeon's hangar decks of showing all shield power transferring to the prow to stave off the absolutely blinding barrage of turbolaser fire that the Venators were pouring forward. It was highly doubtful that the volley, even if sustained, would penetrate the shields, but that just meant the remaining power had to be shunted form elsewhere in the ship. There was no doubt an attack on the hangar bays by a completely unseen enemy would be unanswered even if the Sith on board quickly tried to redirect power. Doing so wou;d doom the ship anyway if the turbolaser barrage lasted any longer. So without further hesitation, Keth primed, locked, and fired a pair of concussion missiles at the shielding to either side of the underside hangar bay of the Star Destroyer, just in case the shields were more flimsy than he expected he did not want them punching through and destroying the hangar. The idea was to maybe cause some damage to auxiliary shield generators in their most likely spot while also burning down the main shields.
Hot on the tail of his missiles, Keth gunned the Whitecloak fighter forward, prepared to veer off if for some reason the shields held. But as the nimble missiles impact to either side, the shields over the bay flickered precariously but did not collapse with the tell-tale receding red tint. Keth fired his blaster cannons into the gap, finishing off the shields as they tried to reestablish themselves. Naturally, this brought him back to full sensor visibility and already the Dark side-aided turret gunners were focusing on the sudden threat. But Keth already had his fighter into the hangar and safe from the turrets, and he careened into the first open docking port at the urging of the Force, which he had called around him despite the stifling shroud of the Dark Battle Meditation. Without bothering to properly shut down all the systems of his starship, Keth checked for atmosphere in the docking port he had chose and when confirmed he popped his canopy, and leaped free, lightsaber blazing with sharp viridian light.
Landing on his two feet and is free hand for stability, Keth glanced up and noticed technicians backing away in a panic from the sudden intruder. In the same instant, the sound of the turbolaser barrage, which was an obvious heavy thumping off in the distance to Keth's right stopped and the hum of the hangar bay's shields returning to whatever functionality remained to them. But neither of those things were the largest issue to Keth. Alerted to the danger, the Sith had already dispatched nearby guards to deal with the very obvious intruder. A squad of them approached with guns raised and helmet visors completely blacked out.
Keth growled in his wolflike way and stood up fully, lightsaber prepared. The soldiers opened fire without question, no doubt inspired by someone as merciless as the Sith on board. Keth rushed forward through the barrage, blocking those bolts threatening him but otherwise ignoring a deadly stream of tibanna-fueled energy. In no time at all thanks to the aid of the Force, Keth was among the squad of soldiers and he was cutting them to pieces so that they could offer him little resistance later. Once the immediate threat was dispatched, he turned to the quickly-fleeing technicians who very easily posed a problem to his starfighter once he left it to pursue the Sith. With a gesture of his free hand, Keth snatched the small group of techs into the air and brought them flailing back to him in a pile where they scattered along the floor as he tossed them past him. Without much consideration of mercy, he pitched each of the techs from the end of the docking port into the open air of the remainder of the hangar bay, no doubt sending each of them to their death with a scream of terror. It was not the preferred method of a Jedi, but Keth hoped that the terrifying image would dissuade any other potentially brave souls from being overridden by the Battle Meditation to attempt to sabotage his ship.
The next minutes were spent in a near dreamlike state for Keth. Focused on reaching the source of the Dark side shroud that encased the ship, he mercilessly beat through any and all resistance from the crew or security without so much as considering their actual attributes. This mindless, and frankly for a Jedi, dangerous, march upward to the bridge was efficient and necessary, however, considering that now the Venators were focused on fending off the ever-closing assault by the Sith task force. There was only so long before the ships defending Bespin were outgunned and the planet and it's crucial resource captured by the Sith Empire. Moral consequences be damned, the Shistavanen Jedi had one job to do, and if he failed he may as well be dead anyway.
So there was only time to consider with Keth realized behind the next set of blast doors was the target of his rampage. The Sith was on the other side of the doors that presumably opened onto the bridge. If Keth was lucky, he could potentially crippled the flagship while also dueling the Sith out of his Battle Meditation too. That would be the best scenario.
But Keth felt bodies signifying a threat gathering on the opposite side of the door. It was no question that the Sith currently knew he was right there. But a few mortals could not stop him from reaching his ultimate prey and at least giving his defense forces a chance at repelling this surprise attack. With a primal roar from within, Keth extended his free hand once more and blew the blast doors inward off their hinges, which subsequently caught many of the waiting guards in their wake and sent them sprawling injured, unconscious, or both, to the front of the bridge. Coincidentally, Keth noticed as he leaped into the room, the Sith was up and whirling around with lightsaber activating. She -- as he rapidly discovered -- was sitting in the center catwalk of the bridge which was indeed a very tactical location to conduct Battle Meditation from.
But now with her focus on him and him alone, Keth felt the oppressive push of the Dark side from all around him vanish. Suddenly the flagship rocked as successive blows found weak spots now standard shielding crews were trying to cover. The entire advantage afforded the Sith task force beyond superior size vanished in an instant. And honestly, Keth knew the planet Bespin and its Tibanna gas was far more important than his own life. As he squared up against the crimson blade of the Sith and her imposing dark-clad figure, Keth knew he had one job: keep her from reestablishing her Meditation and hopefully holding her from getting any commands to her task force. This would maximize the chances that the Venators could repel the invaders. Even if that meant destroying the Sith flagship with Keth still on it.
With his resolve strengthened by the knowledge this could be his last hunt, Keth launched himself with the Force behind his leap at the Sith, fangs barred and maw snarling ferociously.

The Sith was not caught off guard by the leap. Bringing her crimson saber up, she parried his initial slash but was forced a pace back from the sheer momentum behind Keth's strike. Then as he swung in from different angles twice more, she retreated another two steps while conservatively deflecting his attacks close to her body. But Keth had not gotten past her guard even as she backpedaled. So he kept up his assault, with vicious, heavy-handed strikes being the norm he continued to batter her defenses but she gave only ground, not any positioning.
Finally, with her back near the port bulkhead of the bridge, the Sith transitioned to the offensive, using her off-hand in between Keth's slash to her left thigh and his incoming jab to her solar plexus, she pushed out viciously with the Dark side, sending him stumbling back a few paces of his own as he tried to use his own Force powers to shrug off hers. But that reprieve was enough to send her at him with her blade spinning like a propeller around her body and lashing out seemingly randomly from its journey around her body to test his defenses like the head of a viper. Keth was moving in reverse even faster than she had originally been because her attack style was so much more elegant and therefore faster than his. But none of her attacks were overpowering strengthwise, it was mustering the reflexes to get to her blade before it touched his skin.
Yet, even the most unpredictable of patterns lost some of its edge when Keth realized that there was only so many ways for her to attack from while weaving her cage of light as she twirled her blade. Once the obvious underhanded strike came at his ribs again from her left, Keth was prepared and blocked at an angle, sending her otherwise rhythmic attack off course and therefore stopping her advance. Trying to regain the pattern, the Sith took a step back, but that was what Keth wanted. He spun away from her, trailing his saber in a sweeping slash which had enough velocity behind it to awkwardly catch her blade and send it from her grasp out of surprise.
As the glittering hilt clattered across the deck and into the crew pit opposite, the Sith looked up with a mix of surprise and rage in her face. She raised her arms and Keth felt the Dark side surge, but suddenly the whole ship was rocked with a heavy blow from the Venators and she was knocked off balance. Both Force-users caught themselves quickly with help of the Force, but her attack was forgotten momentarily. Various members at their stations were trying to pass along information as any good bridge crew would do, but they were hesitant with an assailant in their midst that they were doing their best to ignore. Keth decided the momentary confusion of pretty much every officer and the Sith on board was his chance.
He had seen and heard where the Sith's lightsaber had landed in the crew pit, for now ignored by the sensor officer nearest the weapon. However, he would regret leaving the weapon at his feet. With a remote use of the Force, Keth activated the crimson blade and sent it spinning along the floor of that crew pit like a propeller possessed, which made short work of some circuitry close to the surface of the bulkheads, any chair supports, and any crew members' legs which were in the way of the rotating saber. Cries of pain filled the bridge and the Force as well, but this only served to sharpen the Sith's focus. She turned on him, raised her hand, and issued forth the most dangerous of Force abilities: lightning. Keth left his grip on the Sith saber and instead turned his attention to using his own to block her lethal onslaught. Barely getting his up in time, Keth was forced backwards before gaining traction and stopping the lightning's advance. He then decided to use this act of pure malice to his advantage, and he angled his blade so the lightning reflected into the crew pit behind the Sith, therefore hitting those control boards and some of the crew members as well.
The Sith, realizing the twist of fate, stopped her attack, but in the same moment summoned her lightsaber from where it lay. She and Keth both surveyed the bridge, how many stations and crew members were now useless...it meant the Star Destroyer was going to be in grave danger against the Venators now, with everything working much less than optimal.

"You've doomed us both, Jedi."
The Sith was still more preoccupied with the damage to the flagship's bridge than she was with the Shistavanen before her. Darth Vitiion was roiling in a mixture of fury tinged with panic. Her brilliant plan was being thrown off by this mere Jedi Knight who had found his way onto her ship by some subversive means she had not planned for and proceeded to doom it at her expense. Justification of her current emotional state came in the form of alarm klaxons sounding all across the bridge. Certain systems, now unable to be properly maintained or monitored in the heat of battle, were either being crippled as the Venator Star Destroyers continued to hammer away or were falling into critical stages with the loss of control. But not all of the systems were offline just yet...
Thinking fast and furiously, Vitiion hurled all of her combined rage at the Jedi through the Dark side, sending him unexpectedly through the uncovered gap at the far end of the bridge, sending him skidding some distance down the corridor leading away from the bridge. Turning to the remaining bridge officers still at their undamaged stations, Vitiion took a situation check.
"What do we still have control of?"
Various officers nervously reported in that the Pellaeon was lacking fine control over shielding and much of the ability to reroute power throughout the ship to optimize systems, but the movement controls were still fully operational. This left Vitiion with few options, but she also was made aware of the fact that communications were still mostly intact with the rest of the task force.
But her time was short. The Pellaeon took a devastating hit via a doomed enemy X-wing careening into a weak point in the shielding on the ventral spine of the ship, breaking through and exploding in a fiery crater in the hull plating. The atmosphere, bodies, and equipment which billowed out with the fire left no doubt that there was definitely a hull breach at the site. It was only a matter of time before the remainder of the shielding array collapsed and the Star Destroyer became nothing more than a glorified meteor. Also, the Jedi was returning to his feet, retrieving his saber from the floor near him, and rushing towards her once more, intent to finish what he started. Vitiion quickly gave what very well could have been her last orders upon this ship.
"Tell the the frigates to retreat. Try to escape back to the staging point and regroup with the main forces. Have the starfighters cover their exit before docking there."
One of the crew asked with obvious fear in his voice.
"What about this ship, General?"
Vitiion was turning to face the Jedi as he came streaking back onto the bridge. She flourished her saber as she said.
"Aim for either Venator. Try to ram it."
Then she leaped forward to meet the Jedi head-on. Their blades clashed with a flash of light and both combatants were knocked in reverse, bracing themselves. The whole destroyer rocked a bit as a turbolaser volley broke through the prow shields and rippled up the hull, leaving behind small craters and molten slag. Vitiion decided it was possible to at least save herself if she could at least reach the hangar bay and find her personal starfighter intact.
Drawing the Dark side to her, Vitiion gestured to send the Jedi hurtling once more through the portal leading off the bridge. He was more prepared for it this time, but that did not stop him from giving up enough ground to allow Vitiion to charge after him, blade spinning and trying to cut him apart limb-from-limb. The Jedi was scrambling away from her blade and blocking frantically from her sudden bum-rush, but at least she was able to progress down the corridor towards the turbolifts as she need to.
The following duel was a high intensity exchange or whirling blades. Green and red alternated spatial locations and flashed with sparks and bright light as they whirled through the air, meeting again and again but never cutting through flesh. Scoured gouges were left in the walls, floor, and ceiling as the pair dueled farther down the corridor, leaping, tumbling and lunging in an attempt to best the other.
But eventually Vitiion, trying her best to keep the Shistavanen at bay so she could not-so-sneakily reach the turbolift bank. The Jedi was persistent, and Vitiion knew she needed breathing room to effect her escape into the lift.
With a fierce combination of strikes, Vitiion forced the Jedi to lock his blade with hers mere inches from his snout. She smiled wickedly, and pushed on her blade with the Force, trying to drive the locked blade right into his face and cripple him, but the Shistavanen pushed back with a desperate Force Push of his own and leaped away with the opposite velocity. All the space she needed, Vitiion turned back to the lift, punched the access button, and was bucked from her feet into the doors as they opened as the Star Destroyer shook from another devastating impact. With this one, she could feel the inertial compensators strain and she knew for sure that the reactors in the heart of the destroyer were struggling to keep up as the ship took an ever increasing beating without much ability of the crew to moderate the power output to various systems.
With a flick of her wrist, Vitiion keyed the inner control pad through the Force to drop her to the hangar level, but before the doors could close, the Jedi was rushing her again and throwing his lightsaber in the same breath quicker than she could react from the floor of the lift. The green saber stabbed into the control panel of the lift, shorting it out and ruining any input. Vitiion howled with rage.
"You have a death wish, don't you?!?"
The Jedi was suddenly in the lift with her, grabbing his saber and interposing it between himself and her blade as she took a wild swing at him.
"I will die if it means taking you with me, Sith."
Vitiion stretched her free hand forth and issued lightning which curled around their crossed sabers and sent tendrils all over the lift and each of them. The pain was excruciating to both, but Vitiion used it to sharpen her focus and strengthen her resolve. The Jedi stumbled back away from the lift twitching with his fur standing on end. He was not so used to converting pain into strength as she was.
But using the momentary reprieve, Vitiion rolled to her front and began cutting through the floor of the lift with her saber, resorting to dropping through the lift tube itself to reach safety. She knew that the hangar floor was effectively at the bottom of the shaft, so the chance of her missing her stop once she was descending was extremely slim.
The Jedi was getting slowly to his feet and reactivating his lightsaber. Vitiion took a tentative look over her shoulder before completing her cut and hurtling downward with the metal disk she had made into the turbolift shaft. Then, her eyes were only focused downwards.

The Sith woman vanished through the floor of the inoperative lift. Keth, shaking off the effects of the lightning he had been hit with, knew that he had to follow her. Stowing his lightsaber, he dived after her like an athletic diver into a pool, but there was no reassuring splash of water on the other side, only more air...
Seeing the dark cloaked figure below, Keth angled to catch up to her and streamlined his body even further. But suddenly, everything seemed to shift a bit as the star destroyer rumbled internally and it was clear the inertial compensators were starting to give out. Gravity was lessening on the destroyer and the fall was quickly less dangerous than before. Thinking that the Sith may have been otherwise occupied, Keth fanned out his limbs to slow his descent further and subsequently pulled on the Sith through the Force, dragging her up towards him as they floated downwards through the shaft.
She spun around at the hold by him and glared viciously, activating her lightsaber as he closed the distance with her. He brought his out as well and they were now exchanging blows as they fell, barely assisted by the artificial gravity of the ship, and tumbling downwards. Keth was very sure that his training had never encompassed falling down a turbolift shaft while dueling in low gravity, but it did not prevent him from putting up a valiant effort to breach the Sith's defenses and strike a crippling blow onto her.
However, the Force danger sense shrilled up Keth's back eventually as he and the Sith locked blades on their way down. It was clear the bottom of the shaft and their destination was coming up very soon. Keth used the Force to slow his descent to a feather's velocity at falling, and he left the Sith to fall faster. She caught on slightly later, but hit the bottom with some force. Keth felt pain flush the Force as he came down next to the Sith. Just as her blade came around trying to windmill his ankles off, Keth blasted the doorway to the floor off and back-flipped through, leaving the Sith in the turbolift shaft. He stumbled sideways and was nearly carried off his feet as the destroyer jolted and began to tilt sideways. The ship's integrity was giving way...and Keth knew this fight would only grow more difficult for the both of them.
But as he righted himself on the floor, anchoring himself with the Force, the Sith was rocketing through the opening and past him, barely swinging her blade to block a swing of his own as she floated past, bounding very seldom as one would on a low-gravity moon. Keth gave pursuit trying to pull her back with the Force, but she was fending off his attempts rather simply. He just tried to catch her instead.
Rounding a few corners by bouncing off the walls as if they were the floor, the Sith and Keth were abruptly thrust into the hangar bay. Equipment was seen either tumbling from the docking ports of various floors or already piled haphazardly at the lowest level in the open area. The Sith was bounding towards the far end, apparently trying to reach the only remaining starfighter Keth could see that was not his own: a Z95 Headhunter painted perfectly black and sporting extra-large missile pods underneath the wings which were clearly a modification.
Keth knew his starfighter was relatively closer but he was more confident in his dueling skills than his piloting skills versus this Sith. For all he knew she was a starfighter ace whereas he was most certainly not. But there was enough distance between the two of them that Keth was unsure of how he could stop the Sith from reaching her starfighter even if he pursued. So he decided to improvise.
Grabbing a small tool kit lying on the hangar floor, Keth hurled it with the aid of the Force at the back of the Sith's head. She turned and deflected it with her own application of the Force, but in doing so her momentum shift took her completely off the deck as gravity seemed to lessen even further. Flailing her legs to return to solid ground, the Sith began to float over the containment field which would open out into the vacuum of space if she fell through it. Springboarding off the deck, Keth hurtled at the flailing Sith like a missile and slashed at her midsection as he reached her. She had the time to bring her blade up but in doing so twisted awkwardly and missed the straight-forward block with her blade.
Instead, Keth's horizontal slice cut through her midsection and exposed her internal organs, her failed block in turn sheared off his left ear from where it had been perked up on the top of his head. Both combatants tumbled past each other howling in agony from their respective injuries. Keth was traveling at an upward angle as gravity finally gave out all together, whereas the Sith was slowly tumbling towards the containment field at the bottom of the hangar. Clutching her midsection and screaming, she was unaware of her fate if she continued on that course. Meanwhile Keth was able to reel in his emotions and crush all feeling as he muttered calming phrases to himself. The pain throbbed and made it impossible to concentrate, but he was able to put his lightsaber to his belt and grab on to the framework of the nearest docking port as he reached it, conveniently three berths over from the Sith modified Z95 Headhunter. Watching but unable to do anything, Keth clung to the docking berth as the Sith general, Darth Vitiion came within meters of falling to her death through the containment field.
But her sense of danger must have kicked in, because she was trying to twist around, and only causing herself even more pain as her wound protested violently. In one final attempt as her feet nearly went through the field, Vitiion lashed out with the Force in a torrent of lightning onto the containment field....
...which had the effect she desired. Since her death was inevitable, Vitiion was hoping to take the Jedi nuisance with her. Her lightning shorted out the containment field's waning power and therefore the atmosphere in the hangar began to flee along with anything not tied down. The Sith was the first to be jettisoned into the void of space where death was immediate but brutal, and all of the debris that had been collecting earlier followed. The sudden tug nearly yanked Keth from his perch, but holding on with all of his strength, Keth shimmied precariously to the Z95 Headhunter near him. He determined it was impossible to reach his WhiteCloack fighter which was two levels up and on the rack perpendicular to where he was now, given his condition and the situation the hangar was in.
Reaching the nose of the starfighter, Keth slid onto it, gripping down with all his might. For a few precious seconds, his feet were hanging free and he felt his grip slip momentarily, nearly sending him out of the gap in the hangar floor and consequently to his death. But with raw determination, the Shistavanen was able to pull himself to the cockpit, open it, and fasten himself into the seat. Closing the cockpit and pressurizing it, Keth finally no longer felt the effects of the destroyed containment field even though he watched his un-clamped Whitecloak slip free of its berth and go tumbling into space never to be piloted again. In a hurry, Keth got the starfighter's systems up and running and he deactivated the docking clamps in the same space of time. The whole hangar around him was rumbling fiercely, however, and Keth could feel through the Force as the thousands of crew members on board feared for their lives as the Pellaeon no doubt was about to end its existence.
Wasting no time, Keth gunned his stolen Z95 out of the hangar and rocketed clear of the failing Star Destroyer, realizing it was coming apart as it careened into the farthest away of the two Venator star destroyers, not the Matrix. Keth was holding out hope that the Venator would somehow evade the hulking mass, but even that was taken away as the remainder of the larger Pellaeon crashed head long into the upper edge of that second Venator and erupted in fire and hot shrapnel. The blast blinded Keth as he spiraled away from it, buffeted by the shockwave that was immediately dissipating into space. He simultaneously shuddered as the loss of life from what seemed to be both destroyers hit him full on in the chest. His Z95 kept tumbling as he tried to get his own mind and body under control before even attempting to control the ship. The shock of that loss of life, of his injury, and the overall exertions in the battle were all taking their toll all at once.
