Description:
The Cargador was designed as a smaller sister ship to the Cazador as part of the new ship lines for the Solenbaran Diarchy. But where the Cazador was a dedicated destroyer, the Cargador was built as a dedicated carrier for starfighters. As such it could hold 4 full Fighter Wings (288 Starfighters), with a small force of 400 Stormtroopers for replelling boarding forces. It had 16 Octuple Barbette Turbolaser Cannons, 30 Dual Turbolaser Cannons, and 16 Point Defence Laser Cannon Cannons. Similar to the Cazador, the bridge sat low to the raised ridge back of the vessel, with a pair of shield generators atop the bridge acting as dedicated protection for it, while a pair of generators toward the front of the ship provided the shielding for the ship as a whole.
