Built after the Sith Worlds Campaign, the focus of the Blackguard Navy continued playing on the tenants of the Spirian Reform. Constructed at the Dromund Kalakar Shipyards, the Heritor, named after one of the Blackguard members, was designed to be an anti-starfighter vessel. While most of the navy focused on 'wolf pack' tactics, overwhelming the enemy with numbers rather than by sheer strength, it lacked ships dedicated to starfighter screening. Thus the Heritor came to fruition. Armed with 20 quad laser cannons and an advanced targeting system to better track enemy fighters, the Heritor carries no fighters but it did carry 100 troops for boarding actions. The Heritor's powerful engines, based similarly on the Tartan-Class Patrol Cruiser, allowed for the small ship to keep up with most average fighters. It was virtually useless against much larger vessels, however, unless used in large groups.
