Being developed in a combined advance of Grand Admiral Kasalle and Sienar-Jaemus Fleet Systems, the TIE Signal, also named the TIE/sg, is a new configuration of the TIE/sf, which drops the additional pilotseat and the launcher below the TIE fighter with a new version of the ANq-51 sensor array and modified antennas, allowing the star fighter pilot to communicate on a broader scale while being capable to jam the systems of smaller vessels, smaller than a corvette class ship. Although the modifications come with a slight decrease of offensive power on its main blaster cannons, the TIE Signal's main role as a reconnaissance fighter will be key of alerting fleets from nearby systems immidiately, should hostile actions occur within First Order territory.
The TIE/sg is piloted by a singular pilot and features 2 laser cannons like the standart First Order model. Like the regular First Order TIEs, the TIE/sg also features a hyperdrive system.
