The towering residence of the planetary governor in Cormond. A regional symbol of Imperial authority over the Brentaal system; it holds the central bureaucracy and the local administration.

Thump! Thump! In the quiet hours of the night there came a knock on the door to the residence of the Imperial overseer of Brentaal IV, much to the chagrin of the sleeping Moff. Blinking away fatigue as he yawned on approach to the door, the governor let out a startled gasp as he came face to face with the alien standing outside his apartment. As the automatic portal swished open, outside were a pair of First Order stormtroopers accompanying an oily black figure swathed in shadows. Glowing orange eyes, luminous like flickering embers, glared at the governor from dark sunken sockets in a skull shaped visage. Standing between the two white gammaplast troopers was a Yuuzhan Vong intendant, a member of the bitter and brooding Domain Yin, replete in a layer of symbiotically adhered second skin known as a cloaker. The intendant was sealed in the glossy black suit of living tissue from the throat down to the soles of his feet, with a flap of skin at the back of the neck pulled up over his bald scalp ridges to form a hood, casting his ghoulish features in shadow. The lower half of the alien's face was hidden away behind a starfish shaped gnullith rebreather biot, leaving only the corpse pallor flesh around his ocular implants exposed, along with the spiderweb of black veins strewn beneath its surface. A breath of steam hissed from the gills of the rebreather biot, briefly obscuring the menacing Yuuzhan Vong's features in a slowly dispersing haze."Good evening, Governor." Hissed Alith Yin, giving the hands down at his side a squeeze until the knuckles cracked in a series of sinuous pops. "Apologies for disturbing your slumber."The greying human of advanced years stammered as he regained some of his confidence, finally noting the presence of his two guards on either side of the unexpected alien. Clearing his throat with a cough, the moff straightening his shoulder and lifted a hand, poking the Yuuzhan Vong in his surprisingly rigid chest."Wha...what is the meaning of this? Hmmm?" He looked at either trooper, now ignoring the alien completely. "Which one of you dithering idiots is responsible for bringing this...this, ALIEN, to my door at this unconscionable hour? Hmmm? I demand an explanation this instance!" Alith turned his hooded head over his right shoulder. "You can go now." He whispered hoarsely in harshly accented basic. Much to the absolute horror of the Imperial governor, the two FO stormtroopers complied with the xeno's command, turning on their heels and marching away. The intendant then returned his focus to the governor, who began to back up as Alith entered his private apartment and made himself at home."No...now...see here!" The governor began to object, only to be silenced by a murderous look from Alith."Shut it." He growled, using fear to produce the results he desired. "The First Prefect believes your world possesses some tactical viability that makes it worth his attention. As such, he has instructed me to see to its defense. You are temporarily relieved of your position, governor."As you might imagine, this elderly statesman so used to a live of comfort was not prepared to surrender his control without protest. "You can't..." ! Without so much as a flicker of movement, the serrated edge of Alith's coufee blade was placed precarious against the moff's throat, ceasing further complaint. "It's already been decided." His eye sacs bulged as he leaned in, staring the quivering human down. "Don't worry, governor. I'm not here to steal your seat. I'm just here to save your people."
