Zuka's unescourted Lambda shuttle descended from orbit and quietly maneuvered its way to the Tarkin Palace busy landing area. Once the shuttle rested in its designated section the pilots lowered its loading ramp. Once able, Zuka emerged alone and unescourted from his shuttle and briskly made his way to Lord Malvus' presence. Although it had been years since Zuka had walked these halls he waived off the assistance of the palace guards for an escourt. After a long, but pleasant walk Zuka made his way into the chamber in which the meeting was occurring. Zuka stood tall and at attention as he usually does, as he did this he couldn't help but analyze everyone and question who these people were and where his uncle was. Zuka stood silent and waited to be accepted as he did not wish to interrupt their meeting.

Luxeria's eyes merely glanced over to Flvin as he spoke. While not a challenge against the plans Malvus had, he spoke of his opinion and the Sith Lords he held such great respect for. He, like Malvus, was a Sith of great experience and power, of that she was certain. Even Vurkar possessed greater knowledge and abilities while she was but a mere apprentice who honestly cared little about the Sith of the past. What matter to her was her own power and gaining the ability to rule over the minds of others in a multitude of ways. If following this newly forming order was the path to that destination, then she would follow along. Who knew, maybe she would find a deeper purpose while among them.
Malvus, however, seemed challenged by the words spoken by Flvin, something that didn't make full sense to her. Not once did his words stand against Mavlus's plans. He only seem to speak of a Sith that he felt followed such a secret approach and suggested grabbing hold of power through the manipulation of high political and iconic people. It all seemed to fall in line with what Malvus spoke, though it seemed to not register to her master like that. Still, Flvin dropped to a knee and pledged himself to the leadership of Malvus in what hinted at an apologetic tone. Her eyes drifted back to her master and waited to hear what else he wished to say about the coming future. As she had told Vurkar, she had no desire or plans to overthrow Malvus or seek to destroy him as most apprentices did of their masters, but she wasn't about to follow him in blind faith. She would hang onto every words, process it, understand it. Not a single detail would be allowed to slip by. After all, their was still an edginess to complete trust in him after the events on Alzoc III.
While she waited for his words, her attention was pulled towards the new arrival who remained silent and at a distance. Wondering who he was, she was curious as to whether he was meant to be here or not. If he wasn't, she would certainly feel insulted that some random person she hadn't felt before would just walk in uninvited as such. But the time she had been with Malvus was short, barely over a week. She wouldn't begin to fathom the depths of Malvus's connections and acquaintances.

"Your leadership in the past did not waver, your command unparalleled, your power unstoppable. I, Darth Flvin shall pledge myself to the One Sith. Keep me by your side, and I shall squash every insect that tremble at our wake. I am your saber, a living weapon....a Dark Lord of the Sith." While she waited for his words, her attention was pulled towards the new arrival who remained silent and at a distance. Even as Flvin knelt before Malvus, swearing loyalty and pledging himself to the Sith's cause, the gaze of Malvus flickered in the direction of Luxeria who had remained quiet. She spoke no words of ascent or descent in terms of what her Sith Master had planned for the future of their little group. He would have to speak with his apprentice at another time however. The Sith turned to Flvin and gestured his hand quietly, an indication that he may rise from his knelt position. His eyes looked at all three present; Vurkar, Flvin and Luxeria. For now, you may simply address me as the Voice of the Dark Side and the Regent of the One Sith. I have my reasons for not assuming the full leadership of this continuation of Darth Krayt's legacy and plans, but, in due time, you may see why I have chosen this. I serve the will of the Dark Side and the Force is our invisible leader. Her visions will tell me what we shall do as we wait in the shadows...Even taking such titles as the Voice and the Regent of the One Sith was a bold move performed by Darth Malvus. There was no doubt of confidence in his leadership, but the Dark Side hid as much as the Sith could see. Even in deep meditation, tremors could be felt, hidden by shadow and darkness. Tremors that indicated far more powerful Sith Lords among the known galaxy, who hid and awaited their rise to the stars. When that day came, Malvus would merely serve as the Voice of the Dark Side and Regent of the One Sith until then.
Before speaking further, the Sith's gaze abruptly turned towards the door to his library. Nothing seemed to happen, but moments later, the door hissed open, revealing a sudden visitor to the Sith's presence. Malvus even noted that Luxeria had become aware of their newcomer's arrival. Vurkar began to reach for his lightsaber, but a stern gaze from his father made his hand leave the vicinity of the blade's handle.Zuka's unescourted Lambda shuttle descended from orbit and quietly maneuvered its way to the Tarkin Palace busy landing area. Once the shuttle rested in its designated section the pilots lowered its loading ramp. Zuka stood tall and at attention as he usually does, as he did this he couldn't help but analyze everyone and question who these people were and where his uncle was. Zuka stood silent and waited to be accepted as he did not wish to interrupt their meeting. Malvus, after glancing sternly at his son, Vurkar, the Sith would turned to the newcomer who pleasantly strolled in, but boldly interrupted the meeting. His eyebrow went up slightly, noting the familiar posture and appearance that had not been seen in decades. Not since Madrigal Tarkin existed and breathed the air of Eriadu. The Sith Lord leans back into his chair once more, taking upon the desk that was set before him within the library. There had been no Tarkin save him... that was, until now.I was told that the Equinox was in orbit... and I knew it had to be you, Zuka Zammanee Tarkin. Yet, I got a report you wished to see Madrigal Tarkin. He is dead, and has long been dead. I suspect Hell has a special place for that man. Yet I must ask, do you know who I am then?

Luxeria's attention remained on the door when Malvus first began to speak. It mattered not what he preferred to be called as she would continue to cal him master, a term she was still trying to get used to. His title or place of authority meant nothing to her at the moment simply due to her position. She was his apprentice and would follow his commands based upon that truth alone. When she no longer was under him as such, she concern herself on his placement. By that time, everything would be well in place.
It wasn't until Malvus addressed the newcomer by name that her gaze finally broke away and returned to her master. This man was someone Malvus knew from years long passed and despite the obvious intrusion to the meeting, held no apparent issue with his arrival. That was enough to worry herself little on the situation. She would simply listen and prepare herself accordingly.

Zuka stepped forward as he was being addressed as he approached his force aura spread across the library as he did not immediately recognize the individuals before him. Being a Tarkin and this palace technically belonging to him, Zuka helped himself to the closest seat that faced the others. As Zuka crossed his legs the glasses at a nearby table meant for mixing drinks began to clatter as Zuka used his powers to telekinetically make himself a drink. As his drink was being made Zuka sat and stared at Malvus as he spoke.
Care for a drink...Valstrol?
A single glass of Tarkin Brandy slowly floated into Zuka's hand.
Zuka wasn't completely sure it was his cousin of long ago before him. He knew his own relationship with Madrigal was rocky at times, but Valstrol had it much worse. Zuka glared at the thought of Valstrol killing Madrigal, for all the issues Zuka had with Madrigal his loyalty to his uncle and the then patriarch was absolute. Zuka eagerly awaited Malvus' reply...

Malvus remained completely unphased by the offer made by Zuka. Even when his cousin spoke of his true name, or rather, the identity that the Sith once went by. His reincarnation as a Sith and the departure from Alzoc III rechristened him as Darth Malvus, casting aside the man he was once known as. Leaving behind what he had been then, in order to become what the Sith Lord was now. Valstrol... Valstrol Horica. Only Vurkar and his sister, Anastasia, kept their Horica surnames, given to them when they were fathered by the Sith back when he once was an Emperor. It was a name of bygone meaning now.
It seems that even in my new form, you were still able to know who I am, Zuka. But I am no longer Valstrol... you may call me Darth Malvus. Or perhaps Lord Patriarch Tarkin if you wish to be more formal given our family connection.
It was a title and name that Malvus had longed for for many years. Cygnus had been a tough man to deal with; favoring Raven and Malum over the very Sith who preserved Eriadu from the aggression of the now defunct NoE. Malvus should have inherited Eriadu from his former master, Lord Mendacious, by right of succession. Yet Cygnus usurped that inheritance and immediately labeled Mendacious' protege as a Motti cousin... a blatant insult to the Sith Lord. Even when he removed himself from Eriadu and returned to rule his domain from Alzoc III, Cygnus continued to meddle in the Sith's affairs and was more troublesome than beneficial.
Malvus knew there were those utterly loyal to the late Madrigal Tarkin, among them was Zuka. So, without hesitation, the Sith spoke plainly.
Cygnus had long been dead when I took my rightful inheritance as Lord Tarkin. The vacancy of the title, no immediate successor and his dead body rotting in the Tarkin Vault allowed me to secure what he usurped from me. Both he and that pampered brat of his, Adulph, met their demise for reasons unknown. As for the rest of our family, they met a similar fate. Raven, Malum, Bria, Sigilous... all have vanished.

Zuka was satisfied with Malvus' reply, even if Malvus had killed Madrigal and the others Zuka would not seek vengeance. Zuka had always maintained good relations with Valstrol as the two of them were not Madrigal's favorites. Zuka had a new vision suddenly, a vision of a new Imperial Tarkin Empire ruled by the last remaining Tarkins. Zuka's vision faded as reality set in.
I think I prefer to call you Val...at least in private.
Zuka finished off his drink and had his glass return to the table. Zuka thought of Lord Mendacious and smiled at Malvus' recollection of him... it was clear old Val forgot about Zuka's role on Eriadu.
Dear cousin.... I recall Lord Mendacious he was a very skilled administrator and politician... and most importantly a close ally of mine. I remember the day he left our order and left this world in my care. You forget that it was I who defended this world from the Yuuzhan Vong incursions and built this world's military defenses... Not to mention this palace. By all means, Eriadu was taken from me by Madrigal only after I had returned this world to its former glory...I could have fought him over it, but I chose unity over divisiveness. I know you and Lord Mendacious were close, you had Alzoc and I had Eriadu. I only want to strengthen our family...
Zuka rose from his seat and extended his arm to Malvus.
Cousin, it is not coincidence that you and I are all that is left of our family! It IS our destiny to guide this galaxy to a more perfect imperial empire. Together... along with your allies here, we can finally overtake our long time enemies and forge a Imperial Tarkin Empire! I was never a true Sith... I follow the teachings of Wilhuff Tarkin and the imperial agenda, but with you we can merge the two philosophies to bring about our true destiny.

Malvus sighs deeply as he leans back in his chair, glancing only momentarily at the extended hand offered by Zuka. His Tarkin relatives had always had a mind for building new Empires, reflecting the Imperial ideals of old. Raven Tarkin had forged the Tarisian Empire and its successor, the short-lived Fourth Galactic Empire. Cygnus maintained an Imperial hegemony over Eriadu and its surrounding space. For a time, even Malvus, under his old identity as Valstrol, founded a small Imperial domain of his own, the Horica Sovereign Empire. Those days had long since passed...
Malvus kept his hands rested upon the table, keeping his eyes upon Zuka for a long silent moment.
I am no longer a man whose ambitions wish to forge Empires, Zuka. In fact, just before you arrived, I made a decision to not enact the same mistakes of our forebears... the latest Galactic Empire, founded by Lord Sinistra, faltered and was dissolved by its Emperor. We have no use for Empires anymore with foundations of sand that exist in our galaxy today. Instead, I have resorted to two new factions; one of my own design and another that is the continuation of an old one.
Malvus turns slightly in his chair and points at one of the nearby aisles within the library where they were present. A red standard was hung upon it with a white hexagon with two diagonal streaks through it. The standard of the Greater Seswenna Trade Hegemony. The result of Malvus's hard work and plans.
The first is the Ses-Trade Hegemony. A nation that seeks order, law and protection of trade within this region of the Outer Rim. It currently controls Eriadu, Sullust, and Alzoc III. It was designed to hide myself and my followers in plain sight beneath the guise of this lawful hegemony, of which I rule, through an impersonator under the name Ulric von Tarkin. The second is the One Sith, Zuka. I have decreed that the ways of the Banite Sith cannot be used... so we must follow Krayt's ideals and reinstate his legacy. As its Lord Regent and the Voice of the Dark Side, I will see to it that the One Sith will grow once more in the shadows. Waiting for the right moment to strike.

Old Val had a good point, if Zuka were to thrive in this new era he must adapt. Considering Zuka knew nothing of the current geopolitical landscape Zuka settled with the idea of assisting his cousin in whichever manner was best for the family. As for Darth Kryat meant nothing to Zuka, but old Val's last point about him seemed similar to Zuka's idea...
I feel that this conversation will need to be continued at a later time, although you trust these people enough to invite them to our ancestral home, I do not. When they leave, you and I will need to address certain details. It is clear that in my absence much has changed. Just know... we are family and with that you will always have my loyalty. I no longer wish to interrupt your meeting, I am back and I am here to serve my family.
Zuka walked over to the closest seat next to Malvus and sat down. Zuka had no intention of leaving the meeting as he felt he had a vested interest here. Zuka stared deeply upon Darth Luxeria and could not help but begin to over analyze her.

Malvus easily notices Zuka's stare at his apprentice Darth Luxeria. Sure, she was an attractive woman, but she was Sith. And, as a Sith, her beauty was a double-edge sword; to draw in prey so that she may eliminate them silently. One day, Luxeria would become an accomplished assassin in her own name. The Sith Lord would be proud, nonetheless, in knowing that he advanced her studies and tutelage more so than the Order of Ruin. Without so much as a glance, Malvus gestures passively at Luxeria, deciding to introduce her first.
It seems you have taken to notice my apprentice first, cousin Zuka. Her name is Luxeria, Darth Luxeria. I would advise you now to beware of her beauty... for beneath her looks, there is a sinister woman that lurks within the depths of her person.
The Sith then gestures to towering masked figure of Flvin and the tattooed face of Vurkar, the Lord Regent's son.
The masked figure is Darth Flvin, an old acquaintance of mine. And the tattooed male is my son, Darth Vurkar, who was born as Aasim Horica. His mother is my former wife, Lady San Zabar, the Dark Lady of Ambria. And we will have a fifth arrival shortly...
The Sith's eyes would glance upward towards the unseen sky above them. During his talk with Zuka, Malvus had sensed the familiar presence of his stepson, Vallen, whose mother was also San Zabar and had taken the Horica surname when the Lord Regent married his mother. The core of his One Sith would surely be one known for its unquestionable loyalty to the Lord Regent.
My stepson, Vallen, the Wolf of the Ronove, will be joining us soon. You will learn about them all, Zuka, for they have been not only family to me but also my most trusted associates. With their skills at my disposal, our work can begin with a tremendous progression forward.

Luxeria watched as the two began to speak, almost as if they weren't there. This didn't truly bother her, but when he mentioned of speaking more after they were gone for a lack of trust, her eyes focused completely upon the man. She could feel his power, but she cared little for the position he held himself in. By what she could see, despite the kinship between them, he was the newcomer to this new plan more than any here. But he spoke of them as if they were mere grunts that mattered not in the grand scheme of the plan. To be referred to in such a way was an insult.
She didn't break her gaze as he began to look her over. The forest green eyes lacked any shine, but seemed to pull one into her gaze as if a dark void. This lack of shine blended well with her auburn hair as it lay around her face. While not rising to anger, she had become irritated with Zuka's words, but remained silent and observant. Her face remained the same even as Malvus spoke on about them, relaying his trust in them.
She had felt the presence well in orbit, but for now kept her attention within the room. By what her master said, this Vallen would be joining them soon as well, meaning there would be time enough to feeling him out too.

Zuka could sense Luxeria's irritation with him. He took note of it and would address it later. Although Zuka was forward and at times crass he meant well. It was Zuka's way for prodding for weakness. Zuka nodded in approval of the three before them, He then looked over at his cousin with a smirk.
I have no doubt that her beauty is a façade to a deadly and sinister trap for the weak willed. But can she rumble with the big boys? You mentioned Lady San Zabar, I recall fighting her over Coruscant years ago. Of course, we settled our differences once you married her... What became of her?

The whine of sublight engines pealed out over the city as a Theta-class shuttle carried along a trajectory towards the Tarkin estates. The whine faded as the ship slowed and began to lower onto the landing pad. The whining was eventually replaced by the dull roar of retrothrusters as the ship settled to a stable landing position. The landing ramp lowered with a quiet klaxon and bursts of steam erupted from various ports along the hull of the ship, as the automated systems began to exchange and freshen the air aboard the shuttle. The door to the shuttle slid open and there was the sound of metallic boots clicking off of a metal ramp, as a giant armored figure stepped down the ramp. Vallen waited by the side of his ship, clearly agitated by the fact that the steward was not already present. He snarled and spat upon the ground, before he raised his helmet and lowered it upon his head. There was a slight hiss and a click as the helmet fused with the armor and pressurized. The optical sensors flashed as they spun up and Vallen was able to see all around him. He assumed a stoic posture and waited for his greeting party.

The eyes of Malvus closed for a moment, remaining silent for a long time as his thoughts began to work. Occasionally, one of the tendrils upon his face twitched for a second before the muscle relaxed. Lady San Zabar, the heir to the Ronove Order, Dark Lady of Ambria, Empress, wife and mother... she had given birth to Vallen from a previous male. And then came Aasim and Anastasia, children fathered by Malvus when he was known as Valstrol Horica, the Lord of Alzoc III. Her name was something out in the universe, well known for her economics and politician work.
As the time slowly went by, eventually, the eyes of the Sith Lord would open before he spoke. She has long since vanished. Ambria is now a vacant world, voided of her presence. His eyes then turned to Luxeria, who had been his apprentice for but a small time, showing great potential as a Sith. Malvus would not have taken her if she wasn't competent nor had the determination to become a full-fledged Dark Lady of the Sith one day.Luxeria is more than capable, Zuka. I would not have accepted her as my apprentice if she wasn't.The whine of sublight engines pealed out over the city as a Theta-class shuttle carried along a trajectory towards the Tarkin estates. Without any word, Vallen was led down the vacant hallways of the Tarkin Estates to the library where the droids left Vallen. One, however, keyed the door to open before leaving the presence of the male. Within the dimly lit library, Malvus would motion for his stepson to come in, using subtly through the force to beckon Vallen forward.

Vallen allowed himself to be led through the desolate halls of the Tarkin Estates to a library. He reached down to the grip of his sidearms when the droids left him, but relaxed his grip when he spotted his step-father. Malvus was motioning for Vallen to come into the room, but the old Wolf of the Ronove Order hung back momentarily. He was still taking in all the angles of the room into which he was being beckoned. After a moment, when his sensors flashed, internally, that the room was scanned, Vallen decided to enter. He stepped inside though he refrained from speaking. He was clearly playing a court-game with his mother's husband. He knew that Malvus would probably not play along, but he figured he would see if ol' Valstrol was willing to have some intrigue at court with his stepson.

I look forward to working with each of them."Zuka sensed Vallen's approach and decided a second drink was in order. "I take it this would be your other son approaching?"

As Zuka rose from his seat his glass quickly drifted away and back into its place upon the bar several feet away. Zuka sensed the great power that lied within each of the guests and couldn't help but feel invigorated at the opportunities that await all that met here. As he stood tall over Malvus he spoke...
"I fought your mother some years ago when she led the Ronove Order... I've not a clue about what she and I fought over, but I do recall that she was extremely skilled. Afterwards when she married your father we worked together on several initiatives for the family. I hope that you favor your mother rather than your father... but we could do without the vanishing act."
Zuka stared at the group and waited for his cousin to begin.

As Valstrol introduced Vallen, Vallen took the time to analyze each of the individuals that stood nearby. He didn't recognize any one of them. Vurkur was a babe the last time that Vallen was in the same system as he. Vallen did not let Valstrol's boasts about his reputation fuel his ego; he knew what his past was, he knew what his abilities were; they were simple truths. Vallen turned to the man that Valstrol introduced as Zuka Tarkin. He did not raise his hand in an attempt to make a greeting. Instead, there was a high-pitched whine that emitted from his helmet, as his sensors scanned the man. Vallen did not trust anyone, much less anyone that he just met, supposed family or not. Vallen turned back to Valstrol.
I did not say that I was joining your band of warriors, Valstrol. From behind his helmet, Vallen's face dropped into a scowl. This man, Zuka, spoke of his mother, as if he were familiar with her. It rubbed him the wrong way. And to make matters worse, he made mention as if Valstrol was Vallen's father. That was clearly not the case. Vallen was an experiment that was enacted within Lady San; a fusion of Massassi and Human DNAs. His early existence was, in Vallen's personal views, as an abomination. He went through great lengths to purify his DNA.

Darth Flvin stood silently among the group, listening respectively as each person spoke. The talks of the Ronove Order brought a burst of memories inside Flvin's mind, for he was once a Ronove Knight. Before Darth Flvin's rise to power, he was merely a sith warrior under the teachings of various Sith Lords. Powerful figures such as Lady San were among the most influential during his time. Although his memories after the Order are blurred, those who helped him during his growing years held a honorable spot of gratitude. His thoughts began to diminish, and his attention was brought back to the present time. He eyed upon the newly arrived figures, but made no attempts to to communicate with them. They felt beneath him, unworthy of words from his tongue. He didn't care for those who didn't follow the path of the Sith, even if they were dark side practitioners. He continued to listen, despite the unwanted attention that was becoming alarmingly clear.
