Why should I suffer through the clumsy creations of others with a second-hand blade? Do you not, in your vast inventories, possess the components of a lightsaber? It was a slight jab at Valstrol, but it was good question. He had all those lightsabers, yet no spare components? It seemed unlikely. I could even scrap a few of the sabers in the vaults and make a saber from the remaining pieces. Malvus listened to the words of Vallen and continued to stare at his stepson for awhile. In actuality, Malvus did not have any spare parts for a lightsaber. All those with him either found the components themselves or had a lightsaber within their grasp from the start. A good jab nonetheless, an insult at his vast resources and influence certainly. He would let the remark go by for now and ignore Vallen's jab.
Malvus then reflected upon the lightsabers within the vault. Cygnus had collected all sorts of variations. Within the vault, there were very few valuables; all of which the Sith had removed since his arrival to the planet, leaving the vault relatively filled with unwanted junk. Cannibalizing any of those lightsabers to fulfill Vallen's desire for a custom one would be fine with the Lord Regent.I have no use for what lightsabers are within the vault. You may take what you want from them in order to construct a lightsaber that suits you and your needs. I will have a droid open up the lightsaber storage room for you to peruse and scavenge from for your weapon. If a part is missing, I will find some way to acquire it within a short time.

Luxeria's gaze never left Zuka as her saber made its way towards his back. She would be ready for his coming attack. It was the only way she'd keep standing for longer than a few minutes. Her head dropped just slightly as she saw his body shift slightly before the quick turn that blocked her saber and caused it it to fly up into the air. She expected such a move and now he was turning towards her, making it a bit easier to read him.
His speed was well fashioned, no doubt from his years of training and battles. Still, the distance and his movement allowed Luxeria to process a possible attack. Just as his words resonated within the training area was she already making her own move. Letting the Force run through her, it pushed its way down through her legs as she jumped to her right. The Force Jump was nothing incredible though she made it double her own height easily enough. As she moved through the air, her right hand moved out in front of her and a bit to her side as she summoned her saber back to her hand. The moment it did, her right hand moved back as her left hand pushed out at Zuka, releasing a Force Push as she began her decent.
As her feet hit the ground, she let her knees give and let her roll on her side once before stopping in a knelt position and her saber out in front of her in a single hand. She hadn't spent much time using the Force Jump ability to adapt to the landing. The roll was a costly ability and she knew it. Still, she did what she could to keep her attention on her opponent as she doubted he'd give her much time to respond. It was clear enough though he was barely making an attempt. If anything, this was nothing more than a little exercise to knock off a little rust.

Luxeria's force push not only forced Zuka to stop firing his blaster, but it also required him to brace himself... but only for a short time. The push sent all of Zuka's blaster vollies scattering away from Luxeria and all around in Zuka's direction. Only two bolts threatened to hit him and they were quickly deflected to the ceiling by the same saber that deflected her saber throw.
"Most impressive."
During Luxeria's quickly reactions and counter Zuka tracked her intensely. Although he was holding himself back, Zuka was never one to let his guard down, even during a training session. Zuka's senses were fixed upon her movements as though he were in a fight for his life. Once the bolts were deflected and Zuka was recovered he instantly holstered his blaster and summoned a second saber telekinetically. Just as the first his second blade ignited with the all too familiar sound of a light saber to reveal yet another purple hue. No time was wasted upon revealing a second saber, soon Darth Luxeria had two sabers upon her both striking for her while Zuka stood some distance away manipulating them. In a attempt to catch Luxeria off guard both sabers floated nearly at the same level as her neck and both swung slashing downward. There was no doubt her single saber could meet both at the same time, but Zuka prepared for that and at the moment of contact would have one saber reverse and swipe downward then make a upward slash for her torso area.

Vallen smirked at Valstrol's lack of response to his jab. Clearly, the man had lost his since of humor during his transformation. Vallen only just gained his again. That, coupled with the permission to scavenge for parts in the storage room, brought a smile to Vallen's lips. His teeth gleamed through, revealing the lack of pointed teeth. That, too, was purged from his DNA and from this clone's body. The clone was of Echani stock, just as Vallen trained in the Echani martial arts. However, despite his know how, Vallen preferred to fight his battles from a distance. But, even then, he still desired a lightsaber to be at his side. There was a comfort for him the hum of a laser blade.Very well. It is not too urgent of a matter. He patted the two handguns that were holstered at his hips. I've got the protection that I need right here. He rubbed at his stubble again. Now, is there anything that you wish to speak to me about? Or should we be on our way to make sure that your apprentice hasn't gotten herself killed?

For a moment, Malvus glanced in the direction where he had sensed Luxeria's emotions rising with irritation and anger. From the tune of her emotions, it was clear she was dueling. Coupled with the presences of his son and Zuka, the Sith had figured that a duel with Luxeria and Zuka was underway, especially with noting the usage of the Force by Zuka. The Lord Regent slowly made his way down the aisle in order to join the main avenue through the library.
She won't get herself killed, Vallen. After all, she does have a lightsaber protecting her.
Malvus decided to make a parting jab back at Vallen for now. Nothing too refined as he usually did, but just a slight indication. The Sith continued to walk and talk from that point. As the pair walked to the library's entrance, a droid whizzed by with a stack of books that the machine was putting away. It whirled and beeped before disappearing down a nearby alleyway of shelves.
And if that fails, Vurkar's saber will be enough to stop Zuka from killing my apprentice. Even then, I doubt my cousin would blatantly kill Luxeria who has proven time and time again with her potential. I was planning to improve upon her combat skills since she returned from Alzoc III... Zuka is indirectly aiding what I had planned to.
Malvus pauses for a moment before glancing at Vallen. There was much to discuss about with his stepson's arrival; some of which would be revealed in due time. For now though, it was a boon to have Vallen among his ranks once more. A notable Sith and one of established reputation. It would help in the long run.
There will be future discussions, Vallen. For now though, enough has been said. I will have quarters set up for you in the mean time. Cygnus installed plenty of meditation chambers; use them whenever you want. The Vault, however, will need my clearance any time. The library is open to all and that's about it.

There was no doubt her single saber could meet both at the same time, but Zuka prepared for that and at the moment of contact would have one saber reverse and swipe downward then make a upward slash for her torso area. Luxeria took a breath when she realized she had granted herself a moment to prepare herself and regain her balance after her landing. Despite his skills, he couldn't keep the blaster bolts from being deflected by her push. While it might not have be a concern for him on the long run, he was forced to stop for a moment. If anything, it was a point in her direction; small, but a point nonetheless. She stood to her feet as he gave her the compliment by being impressed. At this, she only scoffed to herself."Save the flattery for those who need it." Compliments were not something she dwelled upon. It was her first lesson after learning she could use the Force. She had let the affect her beauty had on others cloud her mind, made her think she was desirable by all. Being denied as she was was proof enough it was far from the truth. From that moment, she made it a point to never let herself develop an ego and to never believe she held superiority in her looks or skills. She had to keep working, had to keep progressing. Never would she let herself become complacent due to the mindset that she held great power. The only compliments she took to heart were the ones that confirmed the mindset she was in was a good one. It was this way of thinking that wouldn't let her pat herself on the back for disrupting Zuka for a mere second. That thinking was the path to arrogance and quick road to death.
Both hands griped her saber as the second blade came to life and both came at her in a combat style she was beginning to see as a strength of her own. And with no ranged weapons for quick attacks, telekinetic lightsaber combat was far more effective for him. As they came down in their downward strike, she performed the move Zuka predicted, the one many would do by simple instinct. Her hilt moved to her left side as the blade met Zuka's only for one to alter its path suddenly and spin for an upwards slash. The forced being applied by the first saber kept her from simply blocking the other. In her case with little experience, all she could do to avoid the slash was quickly move back. The natural reflexes a Force-user wielded, even at the most basic level was the only thing that kept her from getting an injury. However, she lacked the grace in her movements as the quick pace caused her to trip back over herself and land on her butt and almost all the way to her back.

Upon seeing Luxeria trip backwards and onto the floor Zuka drew his third light saber and ignited it revealing, yet again, a third purple hued saber. Zuka used the force to augment his speed to nearly instantly close the gap between himself and Luxeria. Once upon her, Zuka commanded his two floating sabers to pacify Luxeria without harm. One saber hovered dangerously close to the fore arm that held her saber, while the other hovered near her other arm that held her upright on the floor. Zuka held his drawn saber to her chest, his blade being only an inch and a half from her. Zuka held his unoccupied hand out, tentacles of electricity hissed at his finger tips and were ready to strike her in the skull. Zuka's face showed no emotion as he spoke to her.
"I would not advise escape. You will find that I am quite thorough."
Zuka immediately summoned his sabers back to their places upon his armored vest as well as his saber in his hand. As this happened his other arm remained trained upon her as he did not fully trust that she would admit being bested. But once all his sabers were in their place he lowered his arm to his side and turned away to retrieve his uniform jacket. He did not bother to offer to help her up as he knew she would not accept it. As Zuka was putting on his jacket he looked to Luxeria...
"Thank you for the duel, I need to speak to your master alone now."

Luxeria watched as Zuka closed the distance with little time to respond. Her eyes looked upon him with resistance despite being the one pinned. Any general form of escape would have left quite mark on her, that much she was sure. There was only two options that she saw as a certain escape. The first was a focused Force Push directed in all directions. It would have been easy enough to do, though she couldn't be certain just how effective it would be against him. The second she was sure of to do the job, but the problem it had was the time it would take to gather the energy. Even though she had great dislike for the man, her anger wasn't near the level needed to gather it quickly enough before he'd catch on and make a move. The only time she had managed a Force Repulse was when she was being strained under pain. The only option in her mind was a combination of the two: hit first with the push to cause him to lose balance long enough to unleash the stronger attack.
She never got that far as Zuka began to replace his sabers, concluding the duel. Despite his words of being thorough and the clear victory he had by pinning her, she felt it was over too quickly. In this is wasn't from her suggested defeat compared to him simply stating it was over and walking off. Standing to her feet, her eyes never left him as he moved back to where his jacket was. Regardless of his skill, she wasn't impressed with his display, nor did she feel she got anything out of the spar. She may have gathered a small bit of information on his style, but when it came to her own training, there was nothing.
Her saber remained ignited as he spoke of speaking with Malvus. She didn't know why he was telling her as Malvus was not within the training area and she still intended to get some form of training in. "Fine. If you will excuse me, I'll return to my training."

Vallen smirked at Malvus' snide remark about Vallen's lack of lightsaber. That is what the Echani was looking for; subtle insults and jokes at the expense of one another. The pastime and humor of nobles. Vallen and Malvus were essentially that. Though they were practitioners of the Sith philosophies, they were aristocratic in nature. His smile faded slightly as he followed the other man. Malvus held a lot of faith in Vurkar. Vallen felt that the younger one was untested and not reliable enough for guard duty, but Vallen had been a way for a long time. Malvus continued on about the accommodations and the limits placed on the facilities about him.Future discussions are fine. And about my quarters... my tastes have become more... refined... since my last time in an established hold. No need for fur. Though, if you could have some of your oldest holocrons brought to my room, that would be much appreciated. He placed his helmet back over his head with a hiss. However, I do need to return to my ship temporarily. I must instruct my crew to bring in my belongings.

There was only an affirmative nod made by Malvus as he departed the library; an acknowledgement enough to Vallen's requests. The Sith would depart the presence of his stepson and eventually come across the duel that was ongoing between Luxeria and Zuka. His eyes glanced at Vurkar who seemed to be relaxing against a training droid. His son momentarily looked at his father before going back to watch the duel. Luxeria managed to hold her own, but experience and skill was on the side of Zuka. This duel was enough reason alone for Malvus to begin focusing on his apprentice's combat abilities.
The Sith watched as the duel was concluded before approaching both Luxeria and Zuka quietly. His eyes glanced at his apprentice first.
You did well for your first time against a notable person. Your determination and emotions alone allowed you to make a stand, even if it was futile. Did you learn this before or during your apprenticeship under Darth Andor, your short-lived master, Luxeria?

Luxeria turned to see Mavlus there, seemingly coming out of thin air. She was certain he wasn't there a moment ago, but his words suggested he had witnessed the duel. She held out her saber and killed the power, the blade releasing its notable hiss as it retracted and disappeared. She placed it on her belt as she turned fully to her master. She thought nothing on the compliment he gave her as she herself saw nothing to be praised upon. She knew how the battle would go, but if she was to develop, she'd need to fight the experienced. However, the battle's length did little to help her in that regard.
When he asked her the question, it was but an easy one to answer. "The determination was developed when I first began to train myself. The addition of emotions wasn't revealed until I began my training as a Sith. While it was touched upon while with Andor, it is here that I've been given the deeper knowledge on how to understand and utilize it, whether from myself or another."

As Malvus stood and met with his apprentice, Darth Luxeria, Zuka finished adjusting and buttoning the last remaining buttons on his uniform jacket. Zuka never felt out of style, being the only person dressed like a Imperial Grand Moff from the days of the Galactic Empire. Zuka's firm hold upon tradition was also his own means of indulging in his nostalgia. Once finished Zuka addressed his cousin...
"It was a brief duel, I doubt she got much from it. But I learned much from the experience, she will do great things in the future...she needs to learn to relax a bit."
Zuka motioned to Malvus.
"You and I need to talk now, I promise not to keep you from you apprentice for very long. She could use the time to meditate and reflect. There is a disturbance in the force and being the only other person in the family of equal power to my own...I need your assistance deciphering these feelings I am sensing. You also deserve an explanation of where I have been these last few years. Let us take a walk, cousin."

While it was touched upon while with Andor, it is here that I've been given the deeper knowledge on how to understand and utilize it, whether from myself or another." Although Malvus had become aware of Luxeria's cold shoulder towards praise and compliments, it seemed she, herself, was willing to give compliments to the education that the Sith was giving her and to those, outside of her master, that aided directly or indirectly in her steps towards becoming a full-fledged Sith. The Lord Regent nods his head, acknowledging her words. Then I have good reason to view the Order of Ruin as such... for if you have gained a deeper knowledge here than there, you have truly turned away from those who are weak and joined those who are truly strong. Darth Andor I knew, but it upsets me greatly to know that your potential was almost wasted by that organization."Let us take a walk, cousin." The request by Zuka made the Sith's attention turn away from his apprentice though. Yet another that desired his presence when the Lord Regent needed to continue Luxeria's training. For now, though, these small meetings would hardly hinder his apprentice's progress given the equipment she had at her disposal and those she could duel and train with at any time. Quietly, Malvus nods to Vurkar before looking at Luxeria.I will return shortly, Luxeria. For now, work on your Makashi stance with some of the Magnaguard droids we have in stock. If you desire a real challenge, Vurkar stands ready.Without any further words, the Sith leaves with his Tarkin cousin and departs the training room. Once outside of the facility, Malvus turns to Zuka within the empty hallway. Zuka must have a good reason to make such a request openly. What is it you wish to speak about, Zuka?

Once in the hallway, Zuka slowly walked the massive corridors of the palace with his cousin. Zuka's body language and tone became serious.
"Val... In my absence I was not simply wandering the outskirts of known space. I took all my ships and armies searching for the very same disturbance I feel now. I lost everything... my fleet and it's vast army. I located and defeated a massive Yuuzhan Vong taskforce preparing to return to our galaxy... I won at great cost. I also have reason to believe these Vong are being directed by one of our own. I do not believe it is coincidence that when I return from battle you happen to be organizing an effort to purge the weaker Sith in this galaxy. I am not certain, but the Sith you seek to destroy are not as unorganized as you may believe and I think they have made an unholy alliance with either a faction of Yuuzhan Vong or a sect. Either way is disturbing and must be stopped. I sense a far greater challenge ahead of us dear cousin... and we will need to be vigilant. Later, I will require your help in meditation. It is the only way I know of to share what I sense. In my encounter with the Vong I myself ambushed a small group of Sith with them. I now believe I interrupted a meeting I was never to know of. Seeing as the Vong are not detectable through the force we must tread carefully as we move forward with our plans..."
As the two walked slowly Zuka pondered on his encounters with the Vong and anxiously waited for Malvus' input...

Luxeria said nothing to what Zuka said he learned. Even with someone as skilled as him, what could he learn from in such a short time? Sure, he might have gathered her possible potential with Telekinetic combat, but there was nothing much else to gather that wasn't more of an assumption or preconceived from a short interaction. But the words were enough in locking her mind in keeping an eye on him, not for mistrust of his place here, but for her own observations of his person.
She gave Malvus a nod as he gave her the instructions on what to begin working on. After he left, she turned to Vurkar. "If you don't mind me probing your knowledge, do you know what the Makashi stances are?" When she asked, she remained composed, not in the least bit concerned about not knowing what she was needing to work on. Hiding one's lack of knowledge, at least in a place to learn and grow, was a weakness that would quickly show. "The name rings familiar, though I cannot place it. It is obviously something to involve combat I by what I guess, it is one of the forms many who wield the Force use. I downloaded a brief explanation of combat forms, though I got little time to go through it. The most I got out of Andor was the basics of combat, which, as you can clearly see, are simple and straightforward moves. Whatever combat we engaged in was random and was without a lesson as we were expected to respond accordingly. In fact, when it came to actually using the Force, the only thing he asked me to begin reading on was Sith Magic, and that was my first day. By what I could gather, it is a powerful art and deeply advanced."
As she thought on it, she realized just how little Andor taught her. He had instructed her to read on Sith Magic, but otherwise, as she had said, everything else was lost in the moment and sudden revelations of power, such as her Force Burst and Repulse abilities. The only other thing he hinted at was drawing on the emotions of others. While Malvus had shown similar methods, he, at least, worked to nurture the growth as he proved when helping her with Force Lightning. It was revealed in the moment of her first day and was asked to practice on it. When he returned, he gave further advise to help her improve instead of just letting her go to figure it out on her own. And the last bit of time spent on Thule was searching for a place she could learn instead of learning itself.

"If you don't mind me probing your knowledge, do you know what the Makashi stances are?" Makashi...Vurkar said thoughtfully as he reaches for his own long-handled lightsaber, drawing it from its holstered position upon the Sith Warrior's back. He calmly walks over to a console, keying a few commands upon its screen. Moments later, a few doors would be heard opening as a trio of Magnaguard droids walked out. These droids were famously used by General Grevious during the Clone Wars; their favored weapon, an electrostaff, had enough power to resist and duel with any level of Jedi. Some reports and, even, holocrons by Jedi said that these models were worthy opponents and proved to be a match for even the most skilled Jedi of that era.
The droids, holding their inactive staffs, remained tall and silent for now as Vurkar approached Luxeria once more. Father and mother had taught him well in the lightsaber forms and various force techniques. Makashi, or rather Form II, was a good starting place for his father's apprentice.Makashi is officially known as Form II or rather the Way of the Ysalamri. Its style is strictly designed to be a duel form of fighting. Its utilizes the wild, sweeping motions of Shii-Cho, or Form I, while also improving upon the failings of it. As a result, Makashi can defend yourself with minimal effort while also preventing your opponent from disarming you.Vurkar then glances at the Magnaguard as one comes online, its electrostaff igniting with electricity, as the towering droid began to make its way towards Luxeria. Vurkar would step back to watch at how Luxeria would deal with the opponent. As the two walked slowly Zuka pondered on his encounters with the Vong and anxiously waited for Malvus' input... The Vong... the Yuuzhan Vong were a well-known culture and civilization through the galaxy. Their violent encounter during their invasion of known space, during the waning days of the New Republic and the infancy of the Galactic Alliance, left a bad taste in the galaxy towards these vicious aliens. The most recent incursion by the Vong happened when Malvus was still Valstrol and ruled the planet of Alzoc III. The Vong had struck hard in the wake of the Neo-Sith Order's collapse, forcing Valstrol and other Sith within the region to fight tooth and nail... alone. Yet, despite his own retreat to Bimmisaari, the Vong incursion did not last long as he and others returned to strike back, forcing the Vong to route with heavy losses.I have my own intelligence too, Zuka and I know for certain that those organizations I am watching dislike the Vong as much as you do. What you saw were desperate Sith, cousin... persons so desperate for power and glory that they would ally with the most hated culture in the galaxy. These simpletons would rather use others to build their own power than even thinking of attempting of making a name of their own design. I hardly view this as a concern, Zuka.Yet Zuka was a rational man and would not fall to superstition nor rumor. If the Vong had small activity within their region of space, it could prove to be even a slight thorn in the side of Malvus. His resources were being diverted in the near future to deal with the pretenders who the One Sith would eventually target, but perhaps, the Sith could use this opportunity to strengthen his hold over this region.Although my resources will be dedicated shortly to the aims of the One Sith, if you can get me solid proof that there is Vong activity in this region and that it may prove a threat to this area, I will consider allocating resources to allow you to deal with them.

Zuka showed and felt concerned that Malvus was taking this so lightly, especially given both of their history regarding the Yuuzhan Vong. Not only was Alzoc assaulted, but Zuka repelled similar assaults upon Ziost and Eriadu separately. Another slight issue that bugged Zuka... Technically by birth right Zuka was the next in line for the Tarkin family executorship, not that Zuka desired the position, but he wanted his cousin to understand that if family resources were required that both should be in agreement.
"Val, I'll be honest... I want to respect you and the work you have done to keep things up and secure. You have your own organization, but when it comes to the Tarkin Estate by birth right I hold claim to the estate. I am not Cygnus as I will not be heavy handed nor will I meddle. But when utilizing family assets I'd like to be consulted. I see you and I as equals, I promise to always consult with you before I act not because I have to, but because I respect and honor your input. As for the Yuuzhan Vong... I shall do as you have said and look further into the matter and report my findings to you. If you wish to eliminate the lesser Sith then you will do so with my help cousin."
Zuka hoped his cousin wouldn't be offended, he'd rather not argue with his favorite relative. Zuka awaited Malvus' reply closely as the pair slowly made their way back to the training room.

Malvus turns to sternly look upon Zuka. Family assets? What did Zuka think he was talking about? Perhaps it was time to enlighten his cousin on some matters. The Sith would point in the direction of the Tarkin Vault, which had been sealed by his orders and could not open without his permission, to make his message quite clear.
Zuka, there were no family assets! Cygnus squandered all of Lord Mendacious's coffers and the Tarkin bank on his fantasies... when I arrived at that Vault, I saw nothing but junk. Our uncle had used all that coin for nothing but to acquire random artifacts worth an arm and a leg! Trinkets that he just locked away. When I arrived to take over the planet, the coffers were empty. The accounts were bankrupt. No matter who would have inherited the estates, they would have just inherited debt.
Then Malvus pointed outward in a random direction, indicating the world outside of these halls. Long ago, Eriadu was prosperous and thriving under Mendacious... then came Cygnus. The world seemingly withered under his rule and that of Adulph. It was only thanks to the reversal performed by his female predecessor that the planet's misfortunes were turned around.
Cygnus left Eriadu and this family of ours practically penniless... it is only thanks to the efforts of my predecessor that Eriadu managed to revive the planet's economy and her military power through careful planning. Planning that I continued to adopt after she vanished and I took over in order to rebuild what you see now. Its only thanks to the hegemony I orchestrated that I have the resources at my disposal that I should have inherited from Lord Mendacious long ago, but were, instead, squandered by Cygnus.
Malvus had not kept these resources under the Tarkin house, however. Though, on paper, these vast quantities were labeled as military and economic resources, and under the 'supervision' of Viceroy Tarkin, they were truly under the iron fist of the Lord Regent of the One Sith.
Any and all resources are under my direct and unseen control, Zuka. You can claim the Tarkin Estates by birth right if you want, but you will only gain its empty halls and wasted vaults, nothing else beyond that. There are no family assets; all available assets are within my personal control and under my supervision. I will use them as I wish.
Malvus reaches out and places a firm grip upon his cousin's shoulder. Times had changed since Zuka and the Sith had last interacted, so much had changed indeed. They were indeed cousins, but somethings had to be respected beyond their family bond.
I will consult you for advice and opinion as your input is valued... but remember, that I am the master of the Tarkin family and Eriadu. As I respect you, cousin, I ask that you both respect and acknowledge my position. I cannot consult with you on everything, but I will ask for your opinion when I feel it is necessary. Understand?

Luxeria took a step back as Vurkar removed his saber, not for worry of him suddenly attacking, but taking a step back to watch him demonstrate the stances, as she figured as by far the best way to learn. However, his blade did not come to life as he moved to the console and pressed a few buttons and a few droids appeared. With this, she felt he'd demonstrate on a droid so she could more effectively watch. Yet, again, this wasn't the case.
As he made his way back to her, he began to speak on the form, telling her of it's other name and placement in the numerical placement, no doubt its placement in its creation. But, as with the lack of performing the stances, the description he gave was extremely short and lacking in any kind of details. In the end, she had little formal training in the first form, much less knowing the names of particular maneuvers or the basis of its attack style. Even if she had, the way he described how Makashi utilized Shii Cho's wide sweeping attacks was vague. If anything, it implied using similar attack patterns while upping the defensive part to keep from being disarmed.
Seeing she wasn't going to get any true knowledge on how the form worked or the stances used, she was going to have to guess at his words and take on the Magnaguard that had come to life and was approaching her. She hoped that he was merely waiting to see her movements and work with her from there in describing how to use the form. If not, she worried that he would end up a terrible master.
As the droid came up to her, she ignited her saber and held it in front of her with both hands. The droid came quick though its movements simple and at a fair pace: easy enough to see and block, but strong enough and quick enough to actually have to work. It was the perfect training speed for someone like her that had no basis for combat other than simple, instinctual, and observed attacks and blocks. The first attack came in a downward strike that flowed into a horizontal strike that went from her right to left and ended with a straight jab at her gut. She brought her blade up in a block, hilt towards her left, then stepped to her left and let her blade point downwards to let the blade and staff fall. It was this movement that allowed for a swift transition into the droid's second attack, forcing her to bring her saber up a bit to block it. The jab the droid then delivered was simply pulling back the stopped staff and thrusting back in on the other side of her saber.
She quickly stepped to the side with an ugly sidestep to her right and used the brought her saber to her left side, power clearly trying to be built into the attack. It met and pushed back the Magnaguard's staff and she went in for a smooth overhead strike. The guard's staff met her blade and held it there for a moment before letting it spin downwards, the force Luxeria had put on the blade forcing her blade to the ground as the other end of the staff came around on top of her blade and pushed it to the ground even quicker. As the blade hit the ground, the guard quickly spun the staff back the direction it came, the end she first hit impacted the lowest point of her saber: the area just above her hands. The quick and sudden impact forced Luxeria to take a couple steps back in a near stumble as her hands flew into the air, her left hand breaking its grip on the saber and her right loosening its grip, though she managed to hold onto it.
This retreat had been forced on her by the guard that didn't go in for another attack at that moment, an easy five feet now separating them. It took her a good couple seconds to gather herself and reestablish her grip on her saber. Compared to her battle just minutes ago against Zuka, this made Luxeria seem far less skilled and weaker than when facing him. The difference, however, was she wasn't be run by anger as she had then, which gave her greater instinct to fight back, though more attacks had been done in these few seconds against the droid. In addition, she was seeking to learn, attempting a style that she knew nothing about, which hazed the mind's focus.

As Malvus spoke of Cygnus and how he had squandered the family's vast wealth Zuka's stomach curled. A deep rage brewed within Zuka that could be sensed by even a force learner that knew nothing. Zuka shrugged off his cousin's grip on his shoulder and grabbed the security officer that happened to be passing the two in the hallway. Zuka slammed the guard against the wall and proceeded to execute the officer by way of electrocution. Zuka's deep rage amplified his raw power that was unfortunately being used against an innocent bystander. As Zuka held his arm out with tentacles of electricity showering the poor soul, Zuka spoke...
"What a fool I had been! Cygnus has weakened us! I should have fought him, I should have resisted! I knew he was wrong...deep within me, I knew he was dangerous! I allowed him for all those years to meddle and mistreat you and the others! Squandered! All of it! I hope he and that brat Adolph suffered!"
At this point the officer was dead, but Zuka continued. As the officer layed before the two a small crowd watched in horror and amazement as the body rapidly began disintegrating into a pile of ash. With full rage Zuka yelled at the top of his lungs and finished the poor officer off. Zuka lowered his hand in exhaustion, his breathing intensified as he returned to Malvus.
"Thank you for telling me... and thank you for taking care of the family, I'm sorry you had to do it alone. As the rightful heir of the Tarkin Estate I claim it. I will restore our family's wealth, so that it can properly aid our join endeavor and provide security for our family in the years to come. I want Cygnus and his ilk stricken from all records and I mean ALL records! From this day forth he is a traitor to me!"
Zuka collected himself and reclaimed his composure. At this time a clean up crew had begun to sweep the innocent officer's remains into a trash receptacle.
