Papa... I have heard that you are no longer in contact with Nic... that is a shame. Is he well at least? I haven't really heard from him since i began my survey missions.... Malvus began to ponder on the last time Nicademus and him spoke. The Imperial Remnant had just been assimilated into the renewed Galactic Empire. The Sith had been offered a place among Lord Sinistra's Sith Order, but refused it, knowing well he would be a caged animal than a man with his own free will. Nicademus accepted post and the salary of the Galactic Empire, last he heard. Then more news came as Nicademus became Emperor, when Eriadu still obeyed the governance of the Empire followed by word of the Empire's dissolution not long after.Nicademus has had quite a journey last I heard. However, since the dissolution of the Galactic Empire, I have not heard from him. Word is that he and what remained of his loyalist forces removed themselves to the Outer Rim, yet have seemingly vanished.

*Gavin listened as Malvus spoke. Whether or not Malvus truly knew what was happening despite not having heard from Nicademus was a question for another day. However, Gavin knew those answers: what happened to him, where he was, and what he was doing. It wasn't until he met him and came back here that the connection actually revealed itself. But for now, Gavin would say nothing. He didn't know whether Nicademus's plans would interfere with what the Sith had in mine or visa versa. But as he had promised Malvus he would speak a word on the Sith's plans or location, so would he do with the information on the Imperial.*

Luxeria's gaze did not waver as Tyrana's met her's. The words were spoken and it seemed that Luxeria didn't hear a thing from the woman. But she had be fully aware. She processed the cold tone that resonated from her. Where Luxeria viewed her as a rival that she wouldn't become second to, just like every other beautiful woman with power, Tyrana didn't give Luxeria a second thought. It was clear enough from her words, though it didn't bother Luxeria any.
After a few moments without a response, she blinked slowly, the dark look fading as she opened her eyes again as if it was never there. "My apologies. I didn't wish to be rude by interrupting your reunion with family and friends. I am Luxeria. It is a pleasure to meet you." Her voice was smooth and easy, sounding genuine and innocent with a hint of seduction. The words and tone carried to make it seem like she had no issue with Tyrana. If anything, she expected it to irritate the woman. Ty almost snorted at the child's words but knew a game when she saw one. Offering her sweetest smile, Ty coo'd at Luxeria like she would a babe. No worries sweetie, young things like you should always feel free to say hello, unless the Master says differently of course. I am happy that Papa has something to occupy his time with now, he is a great teacher you will do well with him. Her gaze shifted to Gavin, ignoring the apprentice at this point and she smiled I thought we'd established that I am trouble? For a moment she thought on her father's words and then sighed and shook her head Well, what ever he's up to...... I hope he's happy these days..... In just a brief moment, a flash of an unknown emotion crossed the woman's face before she smiled again and crossed to her father, taking one of his hands with both of hers. Papa, I have much to discuss with you, with my.... with Makhai here... But I must do so with discretion. Is there a time that we may speak with you privately?

*Seeing Tyrana and Malvus presently in discussion with Gavin, Makhai glanced over quickly at Lady Luxeria. He too was taking note of all those present. She like himself was quiet in this setting and an apprentice as it were. Makhai shot her a quick smile while the family members were engaged in conversation.
He still heard the words, and wondered what more Tyrana was playing at, but no sense worrying. She had her games and wanted her fun. Time would tell what she was up to, despite Makhai's growing annoyance with her antics.*

Papa, I have much to discuss with you, with my.... with Makhai here... But I must do so with discretion. Is there a time that we may speak with you privately? So many wished to speak with him alone. It sometimes irritated Malvus, but knowing his daughter, there was something that needed to be said of importance. He turns his eyes to Maedhros and Luxeria, nodding his head quietly to the two. His apprentice could have stayed, but Tyrana did not know either Maedhros nor Luxeria enough to trust them with what had to be said. The Sith especially looks at Luxeria with a note of advice. There are some holotaps on Form II combat in the library. The visuals may help with learning the style and visualize your own stance. Why not examine those in the mean time while I deal with this, Luxeria? Just ask for the librarian droid and she will show you where they are. I will also send the Magnadroid here you were training with. When I am done here, we will continue.Malvus then turned his eyes to Gavin. Tyrana knew him well, well enough that he would keep secrets for the rest of his life. He would let Tyrana decide if she wanted him to remain or not. Then his gaze finally fell upon Maedhros, sighing lightly.Forgive me for having to send you away again, cousin, but I must respect Tyrana's desire for privacy. Why not go talk with my son, Vurkar? He can help you become acquainted with the facility and show you around. After all, this was your own grandfather's ancestral halls. It would be good for you to become accustom to it.Once his cousin and apprentice departed, leaving Malvus alone with Makhai, Tyrana and Gavin, if he was allowed to remained, the Sith would turn to his daughter and await for her to speak, giving her the first move in what she had to speak about.

As Zuka's shuttle glided toward his vessel the Equinox docked in one of the many orbital drydocks he removed a comm link from his suit pocket and scanned frequencies that might help him contact his young nephew still at the family estate. After spending less than a minute trying to find the appropriate frequency Zuka sighed and shoved the comm link back into the pocket it came. As he stood in the shuttle's main holding area Zuka began to concentrate heavily. He began sifting through the numerous voices and minds that filled the Tarkin Estate until he came across Maedhros' presense. Once acquired Zuka familiarized himself with it so in the future it would be easier to contact Maedhros telepathically.
"Maedhros, I invite you to join me aboard my vessel docked in orbit. I will be leaving for Sullust soon to oversee the production of my new vessel. You and I can then pick up where we left off."

Luxeria quickly became annoyed at Tyrana's words, finally breaking her gaze. She wasn't about to get caught up in a stupid game of superiority through simple words and presentation. And by what she could establish from that which was spoken from Gavin and herself, it was best to just carry on without concern for the other woman. Trouble wasn't something she was interested in getting wrapped in, especialy the kind Tyrana seemed to carry with her.
She noticed Makhai give her a quick smile and she nodded with a slight bow of her head to acknowledge she had seen him and wasn't ignoring him. When Malvus gave her her assignment, she was relieved to get away from the group. Unlike when Vallen and Zuka arrived and wished to speak with her master, Luxeria did not grow irritated. One reason was how she requested his time. Is was polite in its request as well as its time. Along with it, she didn't refer to anyone as some outsider that was just there and in the way. The other reason was simply to get away from Tyrana before the wrong words were said that could cause either one of them to ignite. She was smart and certainly no fool. Despite not wanting to be anyone's second, she knew she was still in the early stages of learning, something Tyrana was clearly passed. Engaging her would be a terrible choice at the moment.
She gave the group a full, slow bow before making her way out of the training area, the Magnaguard close behind.

*Gavin continued to follow the conversation up to when Malvus began to dismiss Luxeria and Maedhros. There were things Tyra wished to discuss, things that needed some privacy. Though Malvus didn't request him to depart, Gavin did take a step back and offer a bow. He didn't know what matters were about to be discussed, but unless it was casual talk, which he doubt from the way she spoke to the Sith, he didn't want to be apart of it at this point. The less he knew, the better.* "I will leave you to it as well. When things have been concluded, let me know if you wish to try an catch up, Tyrana."
*Giving them a final nod, he turned from the group and made his way out of the training area as well. He also saw this as a good moment to work with Luxeria. He wanted to see where she stood in her training and gauge how long before he'd start working with her on the memories. Catching up to the apprentice, he placed a hand on her shoulder to stop her.* "I'm making a change in plans to what Malvus wished for you. It'll be focused upon your combat training, so there will be no lack in the knowledge you will gain. Follow me."
*He moved passed her and headed down the halls, working his way back outside and towards his ship. There was equipment there that he wished to use, mainly his training sabers. It allowed for more room to learn without risk of serious injury from a fault in one's moves, yet enough punishment to quickly teach one to fix their mistakes. He was quiet for only a moment, before he began speaking. He wanted to get as much information as he could before they got outside.* "Tell me, Luxeria. Where do you currently stand when it comes to your knowledge on combat? What forms do you know? "

Luxeria stopped suddenly when she felt the hand on her shoulder and was surprised to see Gavin there. He had not been dismissed by her master, which meant Tyrana didn't want him there or he chose to leave himself. When he first spoke of changing the assignment Malvus gave her, she began to speak up, not feeling he'd be happy with changing what he ordered. But when he said that they'd be continuing on her techniques and combat form, she let the words fade. In the end, personal and first hand experience was better than simply watching some recordings.
Letting him pass her, she followed close behind, beginning to contemplate the question he asked her. She figured he was gathering what information he could so as to better progress her training instead of guessing at what she knew. "The only thing I have begun to learn is what I've started today on Form II. I've gained some understanding in the principles behind it and how it works, but I have yet to do a lot with the actual combat itself. I've only spar with the droid three times thus far. Outside of that, what I know is from simple movements to basic instinct."

*Gavin listened as she spoke, seeing that she had little formal training up to this point. But it was also clear that this was what Malvus was wanting to focus on with her training at this point. He was glad for that. Only the strongest of Force users could wield nothing but the Force in combat and it was something that all up and coming wielders needed to learn. Without some knowledge of combat, one could easily be signing their death warrants against even a decently skilled foe.
He nodded as she finished telling him what she knew.* "I see. I think, then, it would be wise to start you off from the beginning. You already have an idea of combat through your experiences here, so I won't need to give you the full detailed training routine and train you for days before progressing. But I'm going to get you more acquainted with the first form before I work with you on the second. It'll give you solid knowledge should you need something to fall back on should your primary for doesn't cut it."
*Finally making it outside, he went straight for his ship, stopping Luxeria at the boarding ramp. Proceeding inside, he went to his room and grabbed two training sabers. He had kept them from when he was training Anya in her youth. Since then, he kept them in case he needed them. Making his way off the ship, he tossed one of the hilts to Luxeria.* "We will use these training lightsabers to start off. They sting if they hit your skin, but you won't have to worry about losing any body parts should something go wrong."
*He ignited his saber and it came out blue. He let it hang to the side as he began to speak.* "Form I, otherwise known Shii-Cho, is the first form many learn. It is by far the most basic of the forms, using simple movements without anything extra. I will skip the extra tidbits about it and direct you upon the simple movements and the target zones. There are six target zones on the body. The head, the left arm and side, the right arm and side, the back, the left leg, and the right leg. Most of these areas are hit with swipes and slashes, thrusts usually only being used when going straight for one's main body."

Luxeria squinted her eyes as they left the cover of the building and entered out into the sunlight. Following along, she took in his words. She didn't much care for the idea of starting at the beginning. Experiences had come and she stood against them. True, she had others with her, but she didn't feel as if she had been a burden to them.
Then again, if what Gavin said was true, having formal training, even just a little, was better than pure instinct. At least then she could fully comprehend what she was doing and how to reflect upon her opponent's movements. For now, she'd just have to go with what he had in mind and see where it lead. She stopped at the base of his ship as he asked and waited. Looking back to the Estate, she wondered if Malvus would actually approve of her changing his plan. He said he wanted to be invested in her training and she believed him. But Gavin had pointed out that with what he had planned for the One Sith, as well as the newcomers, there would be the occasional gaps where he couldn't be around, to which Gavin had volunteered his help. And it showed now with having to speak with his daughter. She still had plans to view the holotaps he mentioned in any free time she had. She wouldn't pass on any source of knowledge that would help her grow.
She turned back to the ramp as Gavin returned, catching the hilt he tossed her. She looked at it as he explained what they were. She nodded, glad to have such a tool. Progression came from learning from one's mistakes. But if that mistake caused serious damage to herself, it would be hard to learn from it afterwards. This, to her, would be effective in her training. It would alleviate any fear and concern about making certain attacks for fear of what failure meant. She could then progress, experiment, and adapt.
She ignited her saber as Gavin did, its color an exact match as his. But for now, they would simple be there as Gavin went on to teach through words. As he described the target areas, she pictured them taking priority in her vision, almost seeming to glow. The idea that followed was that these zones weren't simple the only places to to attack, but understanding these zones could help one form a kind of strategy in how, where and when to strike certain spots. The idea of a simple form of basic attacks certainly made it easier in grasping typical attack formulas. She nodded in understanding, waiting for him to continue.

*Seeing that Luxeria was paying attention and seemed to hear what he said clear enough, he decided to press on to the basic attacks used and the common blocking patterns.* "With that in mind, I'll show you the most common forms of attack and defense. These basic movements are the foundation for every style of attack. Now, block my attacks as I move. Don't worry about guessing them as I'll have you attack me and show you them as well."
*Gripping the saber with both hands, he brought the saber straight down in an overhead strike. There was no force or speed in his movements, allowing Luxeria plenty of time to block and observe the movements he made. From there, he worked his way down, going to her right and slashing at her neck, then to her left to attack in the same place. He went down like this, going at shoulder height, waist height, then upper and lower knees, finishing with a thrust straight at her gut. Expecting her to side step and push his attack away, he brought the saber around to make a strike at her back before taking a step back.*
"Those movements are the basis of this form and of any attack out there. From these, you can adapt and choose new patterns based upon your style as well as your enemies. And if all else fails, the common patterns will do the job. Now attack me in the same pattern as I did you."

As Gavin made his move, she quickly noted how he was moving. This was a moment of show and tell, letting her fully grasp his actions. She responded with her blocks, bringing her saber up to block his over head strike, then shifted her saber from side to side, redirecting the blade from being straight up to facing down as the attacks reached the lower locations. They were the blocks that felt right, that worked best with her body motion and stance. As Gavin predicted, she side stepped his thrust, bring her saber up to kept his away. When he brought it around for her back, she lifted the blade up and down along her back as his blade met hers.
She could see it. The basic moves were easy to understand. They were simple side strikes to each area. Sure, there were alterations in direction, force, speed, and even flair, but all ultimately followed these basic patterns. She then went on the offensive, mimicking the moves her just performed. She took in how they felt, how her muscles reacted when she struck as well as the most natural feeling path between each attack.

*Gavin was quite surprised at how well Luxeria's blocks were what he was about to show her. Her ability to understand, not to mention how well she picked up on rhythm and flow, was a sight to see. It made him wonder if she had learned dance at one point. Martial arts and weapon combat was but another form of dance. Makashi would certainly serve her well once she was able to utilize it effectively.
As her attacks came, he responded much as she did. Hi saber came up to block the overhead, them move from side to side the point of the saber changing once they reached the waist. As the attacks finished, he nodded.* "You catch on quickly, Luxeria. The blocks you performed were right on with what I was going to show you. Hopefully you were still able to gain some insight to the movements nevertheless. The over head block is obvious enough. When you go to protect your sides, if the saber attack high, usually from the waist up, the better block is with the blade tip pointed up. From the waist down, the blade tip down is a strong defense. Also, when you block with the tip down, it is best to turn the saber down opposite of the dominant hand. As such, my right hand is typically my dominate, so twisting my wrist to the left to direct the blade down is more effective. Doing it the other way doesn't allow me to move it as far down as well and my grip loosens and my strength diminishes." *He demonstrated what he talked of by moving the blade first to his left, then to his right. Twisting it to the right also forced him to lean to his right so the blade could reach better, which disrupted his balance. Standing straight, he continued on.* "That is the basics of Form I and the most I wish to concern your time with. Knowing these things will give you something to fall back on, or even add in to your own attacks."
*He brought his saber up in front of him with both hands.* "Now we will do some exercises. First I'm going to attack you and you will block. I will alter where I will strike so you don't get caught in a single flow as well as increase my speed and strength as we go." *He waited only a moment before making his move. He attacked her left side shoulder, then lower left leg, moved to her right side waist, went for an over head strike on down to her upper right leg. His attacks didn't end as he slowly sped up, going on to her left side neck, then left side shoulder on over to her right side upper leg, then two quick over head strikes back to back before going to her left side waist, then her right side lower leg.*

*Makhai noted the pause from Tyrana and expectant look about. He took this as a cue for him to step in, especially as Lord Malvus appeared quite busy and these matters ought to be concluded swiftly for his sake and time. With the departure of the rest, he stepped up and again nodded respectfully to Lord Malvus.*
My Lord, our presence here is on behalf of several other partners of ours. We are looking at developing some business ventures onto some worlds that are near systems that you currently are operating in. Our aim is purely economic. Militarily we plan only to defend ourselves from pirates, marauders, and brigands. We would however have military vessels and transports traveling likely near your territories as well as looking to resupply and refuel within zones that you oversee. The hope is to try and make this endeavor mutually beneficial to both parties involved. We however do not want to be operating so close to you and your friends without first checking with you and informing you of our business goals.
*Makhai spoke calmly and plainly. The goal was simple and he felt it best to be upfront and straight forward with Lord Malvus, especially following his earlier blunder. Makhai’s Emerald eyes moved with his head as he talked conversationally with Lady Tyrana and Lord Malvus.*

Ty froze, wide eyed, with her hand on a datapad that was sticking half way out of her pants pocket. The entire room seemed to slow down to Ty, so that it felt like an eternity before her head turned to give a look of disbelief to her traveling companion. No, no, no! This is exactly what Phantom had told her not to do! This idiot was going to get Tyra killed!!! Or worse.... Phantom would not give her the shiny things he had promised her...... Her mind went balistic, thinking that Makhai only came along to completely screw up Ty's life, and her look of disbelief quickly turned into a glare. A look so dangerous, even Malvus had never seen it on this tiny terror. Ty needed to get a hold of this situation before something bad happened.... Like Big Brother finding out that Makhai had just shot his mouth off. Ty feigned a sigh of annoyance and whipped her free hand from under her cloak to give Makhai a slap upside the back of the head. Rolling her eyes she shot him a silencing look.
Apprentices should learn to shut up when not spoken to directly. Maybe I really should have taken your tongue. And no, that is not why I'm here you idiot.
Ty finished pulling the datapad from her pocket and handed it to Malvus
The entire Inner Rim, as requested, Papa. I have worked long and I am tired....
It was true, Ty looked more tired than the last time she had seen her Papa, the travel was wearing her down physically as well as wearing on her spirit. Which would explain why she seemed more feisty. She needed a nap, a long one. A small, guilty smile spread across her face and she looked up at her adoptive father sweetly I just wanted to see my papa for a few moments without having to fight for his attention

Malvus seemed to be not really paying attention when Makhai spoke. Yet, the whole time, his mind was at work, even as Tyrana attempted to take control of the situation and sidetrack her own father. Quietly, the Sith would take the datapad and look at it curiously for a moment, then he set it down nearby. It appears that Tyrana had fallen in with a group this time, and it was a group that had settled within the Western Outer Rim region. To what degree or for what purpose, the Sith did not know. However, it was plain that Tyrana did not want to talk about it, while Makhai did. He looks at Tyrana for a moment, gesturing towards Makhai.
I hardly think you are tired, Tyrana. After all, you were more than active in terms of insulting your companion, but the moment he speaks about this particular subject, all of a sudden, you are tired. You care to shed some light on what Makhai just spoke of?
The Sith then turns his gaze to Makhai for a moment. By the sounds of things, he was perhaps the newest member of this group, or had a master among their ranks, given the fact that Tyrana kept calling him an apprentice. He was more than curious to the real intentions of their visit to Eriadu. So once more, his gaze turned to Tyrana.
I doubt you just came to see me, Tyrana... especially if you wanted to speak in private.

*Makhai suddenly looked unsure after Tyrana's beratement. This had been what was going on was it not? Makhai started replaying the events in his mind to try and figure out if there was some information or cue that he had missed or overlooked. He silently pondered why Tyrana was freaking out at him, no crucial information had been relayed, no position undermined, but perhaps a potential ally in the midst? The entire process seemed a logical step in Makhai's mind.
His gazed fixed upon Malvus, while Makhai listened and thought about the situation silently.*

But then he said the final thing, and she gasped quietly despite her self control. Her eyes saddened and she looked away from her father. Of course she wanted to see him, he was one of her most adored people, it hurt her feelings that he thought she only came for business.... Her bottom lip quivered a moment before speaking quietly. Well... since i'm just here on business.... I guess I should just tell you to get out of your way.... She kept her eyes on the ground and spoke very quietly Makhai is Big Brother's newest apprentice, he sent him with me to make sure that I kept out of trouble... You told me to bring you the results of my survey so I did... Looking up at her father, but not quite meeting his eyes she sighed As for the business venture, it's true, but I don't know much more about it... Malvus would gently touch his daughter's shoulder as he gazes down at her. She wasn't made of his flesh and blood, but she was still his daughter. He knew that Tyrana came to see him, but the Sith had to make sure there wasn't anything she was trying to hide from him. Tyrana was hard to evaluate, her spirit as wild as her thoughts and emotions. His gloved hand then gently touches her hand, lightly rubbing her hair before speaking. That's all I needed to know, Tyrana. You don't need to hide things from me, after all. I am glad though that you finished your surveys and used what free time you had to see me. Having regained your brother and sister as well as the reappearance of Vallen and my cousins, Zuka and Maedhros, your appearance only completed the resurfacing of my family, immediate and extended. Having spoken to Tyrana, Malvus turned his attention to Makhai, knowing he had been waiting and observing for now. The Sith Lord pondered upon what had been said; a group, most likely of other Dark Side adherents, that were in business ventures with neighboring systems. The economic goals, however, were an interest to Malvus as he was the unseen power behind the creation of the Greater Seswenna Trade Hegemony. Perhaps business could be performed with this group that Makhai and Tyrana belonged to.I am doing more than meets the eye, Makhai. It should be public knowledge by now, but there is a faction that operates within this region of space, the Greater Seswenna Trade Hegemony, or Ses-Trade for short. Their goals are purely economical of course; to stabilize and protect free trade within this area and to ensure mutual military efforts to root out any unwanted elements that could threaten this union. Perhaps, you can send a message to your masters that I would be... willing to hear out any possible mutually beneficial agreements that could be made between our two groups.
