Gavin listened as the to younglings spoke, a new found confidence in the reality around them and themselves. There might have still resided an anger for the Sith, and he understood that. After so long, no truth can eliminate what was burned into them. But they had seen their families, learned the truth, and we better for it. Now there was no question in their desire to push forward. It would be for something better than simple revenge or the need to run. With that obstacle out of the way, nothing would hold them back. It had been his goal for this final year, to look at those that had something holding them back and help them break free so to direct all their attention towards their training and their own path as warriors of the Blackguard. If they were to become apprentices soon, this had to be done.
He then nodded as Malvus finished speaking. "Indeed, they do. And they have had the privilege of meeting her. But it is why I brought them here. I knew there was more to reality than what they believed so I wanted them to see that and understand the truth. And it seems as if they have realized it quite well. With those chain broken, they can fully devote themselves to their training an prepare to be taken as apprentices under other masters."

A boom echoed in the sky above the industrialized landscape of Eriadu, as a metallic ship lowered into the atmosphere. Its heading brought it to land in Eriadu City. Onboard, the two occupants readied themselves to disembark. On the crew deck, Vallen thudded toward the ramp in a suit of matte grey power armor, though he was not wearing his helmet. Instead, it was tucked under his left armpit. When he reached reached the ramp, the man with long white hair grabbed hold of the nearby strut with his right hand and simply waited. In the upper deck, which consisted of only the cockpit, Lysette guided the ship towards the landing platform. As soon as it settled, with several hisses of steam, she made her way to the ramp door herself. She wore a body sleeve of black leatheris, and used a long lightsaber staff as a walking stick. She looked over to the man. "Should we be able to trust him, Master?"
Vallen raised an eyebrow and began to chuckle. His chuckle abruptly turned synthetic as he lowered his helmet onto his head and the vox-caster picked up its sound. The helmet whined with pressurization and Vallen's chuckle slowly died. "My dear Apprentice, you should never trust a Sith." Vallen turned and looked out the ramp as it began to lower. He patted his two DL-18s with a nod and could feel the Force thrumming from the lightsaber that hung from his hip. Vallen stepped out onto the ramp before it finished lowering and met the ground at the same time as the ramp did. He stopped at the bottom and looked about, as he knew that Malvus would be here soon.

Except, Malvus never came. Instead, another Sith arrived, escorted by two troopers in grey armor, reminiscent of the Sith Empire's armor, from the Great Galactic War. The greeter silently gestures, indicating to follow, before turning and making his way into the Tarkin Estates. The relatively quiet facility had an odd screeching noise that echoed through the hallway. It wasn't the sound of something stressed, but sounded happy and cordial. Their answer came, on the other side of the Estate, where the escort brought Vallen and his apprentice to a large open platform. A shadow flew over Vallen before a screech echoed above.
Just as Vallen had landed, Malvus came out with one of the few Uvak that he had collected on his journey to Wild Space and the relatively lost planet of Kesh. This reptavian species were wildly seen on the planet and a number of his followers were able to tame their own before departing for Eriadu. This crimson scaled one, named Chwûq, was the leader of those in the possession of the Jen'ari and the Sith's mount. The shadow flew once more over, screeching loudly before making its descent and landing near where Malvus stood. A meal was left, as a reward, which the Uvak went over to eat. Yet, the creature stopped at the sight of Vallen and Lysette. Its beak emitted a territorial screech, causing Malvus to turn and notice the visitors.
His gloved hand extends, using the Force to calm the creature. The Uvak backed down a bit, turning away to go after its meal instead.
Go and eat, Chwûq.
The Sith says before walking over to Vallen and his apprentice. Two animal tamers, both of them Sith, carrying electrostaffs, stood nearby and kept an eye on the Uvak for Malvus. The red-skinned humanoid had his attention solely on his stepson when he approached.
You always seem to have a habit of appearing and disappearing. Hopefully your frequent journeys are securing more knowledge and power.

Vallen scowled at the Sith that approached him with two guards. Deciding to not force the issue, he followed them back to the Tarkin Estate, with Lysette in tow. He looked up at the flying reptavian as it soared above and scowled again. He mused about instigating the beast, simply to see if it or he would come out the victor of a fight. Dismissing the thoughts from his mind, he followed the flight of the creature until it settled next to the familiar form of Malvus. He nodded a greeting, though his lips remained pressed into a thin line. "My journeys resulted in death. My death resulted in rebellion. My rebellion resulted in rebirth." He stopped a few paces from the Sith. "Through rebirth, I have become ever stronger."
He turned his head slightly, keeping his eyes on Malvus, but spoke of his apprentice. "This is Darth Termina, my apprentice. She is the one that is responsible for de-splicing my genetic code from the experimental Sith code that was bound to it." Lysette bowed deeply to Malvus and Vallen straightened his head. "I see that you have become a man of even more wealth and power. At what cost, I wonder."

Malvus keeps his expression normal. It seemed that Vallen had gone through some sort of experience, resulting in a change himself. There was definitely a difference between who was he before and who he was now. The Sith's eyes glance at Darth Termina, who bowed to him.
It is good to see you have taken an apprentice. If your mother were still with us, she would be proud.
A noise from the Uvak, behind him, caused Malvus to turn and see what was going on. Seemed the creature was merely disgruntled at how tough the meat was, sticking firmly to the bone that it was latched to. The Sith then returned his attention to Vallen and Termina. Malvus knew that Vallen spoke of, indicating the Tarkin Estate that the Sith now resided in.
I merely took what was rightfully mine, Vallen. You remember Lord Cygnus? And that brat Adulph? Well, they have long been dead. So, I came back to Eriadu, took up ownership of the abode, and slashed their coffins to bits. The former master before vanished, could care less where she went. So Eriadu was ripe for the taking.
There was something different though. His once strong force presence felt very different. Unlike the bold and strong presence before, it felt like Malvus was a hole, a void, within the Force. At this proximity, it could be felt. It tugged at the life around Malvus, almost like an unending hunger. If the stone, where his heart once was, were active, Vallen and Termina might have felt the screams of agony, the cries of a million souls that were fused into a source of great power for the Jen'ari. This was the result of Malvus's path to greater power, the decades of experiments, an existence that the Sith had long sought to gain.
Sacrifices must be made in order to gain greater power... and, you know me, Vallen, I will take whatever cost necessary to ensure that that next state is mine and within my grasp. It is the way of the Sith and it shall always be. And I will not be denied that power, that wealth, that... next step forward.

Vallen glanced over Valstrol's shoulder at the beast and narrowed his eyes. He looked back to the Sith. "Pray your hunger does not grow impatient, such as your beast's over there." He reached his hands up to his helmet and unfastened it. A hiss of air sprayed from the seams as he took it off and mag-locked it to his hip. He shook his head to let his waist-length white hair fall free and his bionic eyes whirred to find his step-father's face. "And, if you are going to go by Darth Malvus, then I will ask that you refer to me as Darth Forente." He narrowed his eyes, "And to refrain from speaking of my mother. Her death or disappearance is a blight to the Zabar and Horica names."
Lysette's communications link beep three times in quick succession. She pulled it free from her hip and looked at the message that played across it. "Master, our fleet has obtained orbit and is holding position, just as you asked." Vallen nodded to Lysette and turned back to Valstrol.
"I hope you don't mind. I've managed to gather a small fleet of ships and enough rag-tag men and women to fill them." He ran a hand through his hair to move it away from his face. "It was a pain to train them all. Some of them could not even read when I found them." Vallen waved his hand dismissively. "But never mind that. Tell me, Malvus, what are you involved in now?"

Once more, the Sith kept his normal expression. Vallen had taken a Darth name, it was a sign of progress.
I will understand your respect of wishing to be called Darth Forente, but I will speak of your mother when I wish and when I please.
Malvus's decision was final and resolute on the matter of Lady San. The times he had with his late wife were good memories, a peace that the Sith had managed to hold onto for a number of years. Yet, the once proud desire of building a dynasty had long since vacated the mind of Malvus. His son, Aasim, and daughter, Anastasia, worked for him as his agents and as potential Sith. Something that their mother would, also, be proud of.
The Sith glances at Termina when she speaks of Forente's fleet. It seemed that Vallen had been building up an army, but for what purpose?
Their needs and maintenance will be billeted by Eriadu's resources. Just as you and your apprentice are welcomed to rooms and facilities within the Estate. The fortunes of the Tarkin family are mine to utilize and give as I wish. So shall you enjoy those fortunes, Forente.
The Sith then motions to Vallen and his apprentice, leaving the beast tamers with the Uvak which was finishing his meal. He ventures inside, making his way into the, once more, silent hallways and corridors of the Estate.
I rule Eriadu, utilizing its potential to their full limit, Forente. The planet prospers under a rightful Sith rule, not the decadent grip of Lord Cygnus. Perhaps, one day, you will meet my former apprentice, Darth Luxeria. She visits from time to time. She proved to be quite the student and has been given her right to be a full-fledged Sith due to her successes. Beyond that, I serve as Jen'ari to a Sith faction, the Blackguard Reborn. My time is split between here and Mustafar.
Malvus glances back at Vallen.
What about you? That fleet and army must have a purpose behind them.

Vallen scowled at the Sith's insistence of speaking of Lady San Zabar. "I believe you misunderstood me, Malvus. It was not a request for you to refrain from speaking of my mother." The tone of his voice was steady and stern; it brokered no room for rebuttal and was the sound of a man who refused to be ordered about or disobeyed. The man that Vallen was before his death, and before Valstrol became Malvus, was no more. Gone was the man who had no goals and simply lived in the excesses of his family's names. His tone switch back to a more cordial note. "As for my fleet, they do not need to maintained by your people. They are are trained to be self-sufficient and I will not accept charity. I am not a Tarkin, therefore I will not reap what that dynasty has sown."
Vallen and Lysette follow after Malvus as he entered into the building. They listened to what the red man had to say as they ambled through the quiet halls. Vallen's focus was brought back to Malvus when the other man asked of his forces. "Their purpose is their own. They banded together to follow me on my path and to obey my commands." He waved his left hand dismissively. "Some of them in a more fanatical way than others, but what can you do. Some of the more backwater planets in Wild Space and the Unknown Regions seem to place a divine aspect on the powers of the Force."
Vallen clasped his hands behind his back as they walked. "You mentioned something call the Blackguard Reborn. I have been out of this region of space for quite some time. Pray tell, who are the Blackguard Reborn?"

The Sith's comlink went off seconds later. Malvus excuses himself quietly to take the communication.
=Military Officer= My Lord, a visitor by the name of Nidana has requested permission to land and meet with you.
Nidana, thought the Sith Lord, the Sith'ari's adopted daughter? Why was she here?
Let her pass, Captain. Send coordinates to the Estate.
However, there seemed to be more to report.
=Military Officer= My Lord, there are further reports. Our ships detected two other vessels, one belonging to Lady Luxeria, and another of unknown identification. The latter was seen hurtling toward Eriadu's surface with Lady Luxeria's ship following.
Even more visitors to Eriadu? Why so sudden? Such questions went into the Sith's mind before there was an acknowledgement was made by Malvus with orders to let Luxeria handle what was transpiring. After that, the channel was cut and the Sith put his comlink away. He returns to vicinity of Vallen afterward. For now, the Sith ignored the insistence of his stepson on the matter of San Zabar. He would continue to speak of her as he pleased and Vallen, or rather Forente, was not going to make him say otherwise.
On the matter of this force and fleet under Forente's command, it sounded like the Sith had ventured across the less traveled parts of the galaxy. These men and women, fighting under him, likely had no better choice in life but to serve or were forced to. Malvus would not inquire on that further. However, the request of the Blackguard Reborn's information, Malvus was inclined to speak.
The Blackguard Reborn is a faction meant to unite the Sith... or that was it's original intent. We rule many former Sith Worlds, with our greatest concentration in this part of the Outer Rim. The Sith'ari, Viox Savage, is a powerful Sith. A visionary that I felt could certainly move the stars. Yet, with all that power, the vision has begun to fade, I fear...
From the sounds of things, Malvus was losing faith in the Blackguard and its Sith'ari.
We were meant to build an empire... but I do not feel that purpose anymore.

Vallen watched as the Sith took a step away to respond to a communicae. He glanced over to Lysette, who, in turn, looked at him with a raised eyebrow. They had heard the sound of two ships entering in the atmosphere in close succession to each other, but neither of them gave it much thought or raised any sort of alarm. It was easy to assume that a highly industrial planet, such as Eriadu, had ships breaking atmosphere all the time. Vallen looked back at Malvus when he rejoined the pair and listened as the man explained who the Blackguard Reborn was.
"So, it seems as if you have grown complacent. Is it not the way of the Sith to overthrow those whom are weak and assert yourself as the more powerful being?" Vallen shook his head. "It seems that you have fed the hunger inside and have grown accustomed to a full stomach."
Lysette glanced over to Vallen before looking back to Malvus. "What my master is trying to say, is that he, and all that follow in his footsteps, believe that if you cease craving for more, if the 'hunger' is fed, then you cease to seek more power, or 'food.' Vallen smirked at Lysette and nodded slowly one time, as he turned it back to face Malvus.
"Is this the case, Malvus? You sound like you have grown to be discontent in your role, no?"

Malvus looks at both Vallen and Lysette. The Sith plants his gaze firmly on Vallen in the end though. An unamused expression appears on his face.
If that was supposed to be a joke, then I forgot how to laugh, Forente.
The Sith says bluntly.
A Sith is always contemplative. They are always planning, utilizing patience and remaining unseen in plain sight. One does not need to always show action to prove activity. Sometimes, the most quiet of persons can be the most dangerous of foes as their minds are unspoken and their thoughts unknown.
Malvus had his own secrets within the Tarkin Estate. There was much left by Cygnus that was still of benefit to his own experiments, machinations, and plans. There was the facility seen above, by the city and all. Yet, there was something below, a vast network that never slept and was always active. Even when the Sith joined the Blackguard Reborn, the activity below did not cease... it only increased.
It is more than just the role.
Malvus says he turns to the side, looking out a window at the view of Eriadu City.
It is discontent in the purpose, the vision... and the future I have sought to influence.

Vallen narrowed his eyes. Either Malvus had misunderstood him or the Sith truly was complacent and lost the fire in his stomach. Regardless, Vallen let it go. He opened his eyes to their normal size and folded his arms across his chest. "A noisy hunter is no hunter at all, but the prey for a larger beast. Only the patience get to feed." He said this in agreement with Malvus.
Lysette took a step back from her Master and lifted a finger to her ear to press an earpiece in a bit further. She squinted her eyes and looked back and forth between her albino Master and the Sith that was his step-father. She stepped back up to the pair with a bow. "Master," she turned to the other man, "Darth Malvus, you may already be aware, but," she turned back to Vallen, "two ships have entered into the planetary sphere, both at high speed, though one looks to have been critically damaged. They are both headed towards Eriadu City at a high rate of speed."
Vallen nodded to his apprentice and looked over to Malvus, who was staring out the window. "Then what is purpose and future that you seek now?"

Lore Hunter came in low, before touching down on the landing pad at the Tarkin Estate. Nidana took a deep breath before collecting all her belongings, which wasn't much, and stood next to her fighter and awaited the escort she was informed would meet her. As she waited to did one last check of her belongings. In her hand was a small back pack that contained a change of cloths and her journal, on her back was her most prized possession a Sith Sword she had found and won away from a Sith spirit, and on her hips was a lightfoil and a pack containing brushes and a small hammer and chisel for her archaeological work.

She will handle the sudden, and crashing, visitor to Eriadu.Malvus remarks before turning his gaze once more to Forente. For a time, the Sith falls silent. There was much he sought, even in this pinnacle of power that he had achieved. An achievement that was the result of many years of research and investigation into worlds across the galaxy. The crystal, where once his heart was, pulsed slightly causing a slight surge of power within his being. The Sith Lord then gazes at Vallen. The future I seek... is one that revolutionizes the Sith. Bring them into a new era as Bane and Krayt once did. An era that will make them stronger through transformation, through the crucible of the galaxy, and stand tall as we once did... and go beyond that. The Horica Sovereign Empire had not done that. The One Sith had not done that. And, here, with the Blackguard banner over him, Malvus still did not feel such a surge. Trial and error had been done over and over. Mistakes made, but achievements performed.I wish to see a new dawn for our kin and be the herald of such a dawn! An evolution that will make us stronger, that will unite us, that will ensure the fall of the Jedi, and the foundation of a new Dark Empire within this galaxy!Lore Hunter came in low, before touching down on the landing pad at the Tarkin Estate. As with Vallen's arrival, a squad of soldiers came out of the Estate. One motions to Lady Nidana to follow him and proceeds back into the complex. The silence of the corridors had returned to their normal state as Nidana's arrival came just after Malvus was finished speaking with Darth Forente. The soldier brings her to the vicinity of the Sith Lord who was patiently waiting at an isolated panel. The sound of a turbolift approaching was obviously heard.
Malvus turns to the right, noticing the soldiers, who snapped to attention immediately. His eyes levitated then to Nidana, perhaps the first time he had met the adopted daughter of the Sith'ari. The Sith then waves his hand, dismissing the troopers. Then motions to Nidana to join him.Lady Nidana, it is an honor.Malvus speaks as he bows his head slightly. What brings you to my presence? I thought you were being apprenticed by the Sith'ari on Mustafar.

Nidana gives a quick bow. She had only seen the Jen'ari via holo messages he had with her father, he was more impressive in person. Clearing her throat, Nidana would look to the Sith Lord sheepishly before announcing her reasons for coming.
While I know the Dark Lord would have much he could teach me, I know that it is you, great sorcerer, who holds to knowledge and skills I seek. I wish to learn the history of Sith, and all darksiders, if time permits. I wish to weave into existence horrors that will fight for the Sith and bring death to our enemies. And I wish to learn powers and sorcery that will make none see me as a weakness to the Sith'ari!
In her time as an archeologist, she had come face to face with many malicious Sith spirits, but it was never enough to prepare her when face the living Masters of the Sith. Her fear and anxiety at being rejected would be obvious to such a powerful being, yet so was her own power and potential, something Gavin had worked on making her more comfortable tapping into. But now she stood, head bowed once more, waiting for Malvus' reply.

A beep chimed as the doors of the turbolift opened. The Sith looks at the lift before turning to enter it.
Come.
The singular word was spoken to Nidana as the Sith Lord awaits her to join him in the turbolift. Once she had, the lift's doors closed and they began to descend beneath the Tarkin Estate. For awhile, nothing but metal was seen in the view before the two of them. However, within several moments, Nidana would witness the sight of an underground facility. It was here that the Jen'ari did his work in peace and quiet, without the eyes of the Sith'ari nor his knowledge.
You have the desire to become a historian for the Sith and understand the power, and potential, of alchemy. In my views, the potential of a warrior is limited by their physical prowess and their ability, honed, by experience. The Force, used by sorcery, however, is a maw... it is a blackhole of potential. It is unlimited. All that is natural, unnatural, plausible, and implausible is possible thanks to the power of sorcery.
Malvus spoke from the experience of utilizing the unlimited potential of Sith magic. It created horrors, abominations, and made concepts become reality before the very eyes of its creators. The Sith had seen such things, created by him and others, throughout his lifetime. Slowly, his gaze turns to the female.
As you desire my knowledge, then you shall have it. I have already trained one in the art of Sith sorcery, Darth Luxeria, and I am more than willing to train another, Lady Nidana. I can sense the potential and the determination within your presence. You wish to come from under the shadow of Sith'ari and become your own darkness. I can assure that rise.

As the Dark Illumination made its way over the city, Luxeria took in the sight. Eriadu was certainly a bustling place with Malvus properly leading the Sith aligned-world. And at the head of it all was the Tarkin Estate. She had spent the better part of a year or so training within those halls, calling it her home as she trained under Malvus before they merged with the Blackguard Reborn. And now it was her destination.
Working her way through the skies, she made her way just over the buildings as she sought out an area to land. Finding a spot, she noticed another ship already settled there. It was mentioned that the Sith has company, still making her wonder if this was the ship of the fleet in orbit. Something wanted to say otherwise as why would someone pilot a starfighter down from a fleet and not a shuttle and regular transport. Time would only tell.
Settling the ship down, she powered off the systems before heading back to join up with Kosrezic. Upon entering the cabin, she saw that the girl had passed out and was unconscious on the bed. Her body slumped as her arms crossed in a slight dismay before looking over to her apprentice. "Lay her out already? Couldn’t at least wait until she was inside so we didn’t have to carry her?"

Kosrezic's head turned as her master entered the cabin. Without hesitation, Luxeria questioned why Elarinya was out in her typical amusement. The Twi'lek shrugged her shoulders with the faintest scoff. "What can I say? I have that effect on people. They learn my name and immediately faint from excitement." She then looked at the Sith girl on the bed. "Her name is Elarinya."

Luxeria shook her head with the slightest of smirks at Kosrezic's comments. She was rather quick and witty at times, something the woman appreciated. It kept things from being dull. The smile faded though at the mention of the girl's name. She then nodded as her eyes shifted over towards her apprentice. "So she gave up some information without much hassle? Well done." She then sighed. "Still, her being out is problematic as I don't see us being able to wake her easily. I sure don't feel like carrying her."
Shaking her head she moved over to the corner of the cabin to a deactivated droid. She turned it on and gave it a few moments to boot up. Once the photoreceptors came to life, it looked to Luxeria.
"What do you require of me, my Lady?"
"I apologize for waking you for such trivial tasks, but I need some heavy lifting done." She then motioned to the girl. "I need you to carry her for us."
The droid only nodded and made its way to the girl, picking the Sith up into its arms. Leading the group out of the room, they disembarked the vessel to find a group of four soldiers waiting for them. Nothing needed to be said as Luxeria understood why they were here. It wasn't to escort them to any place in particular as would be the case with new arrivals, but as a precaution should Elarinya prove to active and difficult. Though it was doubted Luxeria would have any problems in such a case, it was best to be prepared, just in case.
Heading through the halls, Luxeria took in the sights, knowing nothing had changed since the last time she had been here. The route to the infirmary was very familiar as well. It wasn't long before the guards broke their barrier around them and let them enter as they took positions behind them at the door. Already waiting there was one of the head doctors.
"Lady Luxeria, it is a pleasure to see you again. We have prepared everything for your arrival. Please place the girl on the table and we can begin our examination and see what damage she sustained from the crash."
Luxeria nodded and motioned for Umbra to place the Sith on the table. As soon as it did, the doctors surrounded her with medical equipment and began looking her over. She then turned to the head doctor. "When you figure out her condition and get her well enough to speak, let me know. I'll be around." Receiving a nod, the group departed the infirmary, Lueria taking her apprentice on a tour of the estate.

Vallen rubbed at his chin, while keeping his eyes on Valstrol. The bionic eyes whirred quietly as they passed through different spectrums. He closed his eyes for a moment and, upon opening, turned towards the window. He approached it and looked out over the city. Airspeeders zipped about columns of buildings, industrialized zones spewed their gases, and Vallen was aware that there were several dozen individuals throughout the nearest habitation block alone that were in the process of dying from starvation. It was good feeling.
Vallen turned back around and looked toward the Sith. "Are you able to do it? Do you have the means, the drive, the hunger to do it?" He pulled out a holotransmitter and it lit up in a pale blue light. The image switched to the sigil of the Ronove Order, then to the Horica Sovereign Empire, and finally the symbol of the Death Cult. "These three organizations all attempted to do just that, but none were successful. Why would you be successful?"
