Description:
Based on design schematics of the Meson Martinet, which itself was a heavily modified CSS-1 Corellian Star Shuttle, CEC produced the Erso-class Assault Ship as a mass produced model that the Coalition could use to strengthen it's naval might. Many of the CSS-1's former comforts were converted over for military use, with the meeting room turned into a communications/briefing room, which linked into the advanced communications array. The cargo hold was converted to have an opening floor to allow for rapid aerial deployment of the 200 soldiers that could be transported aboard the Assault Ship. Despite its appearance, the Erso-class featured a reinforced hull and Mon Calamari shielding to bolster its defenses. While 2 Dual Turbolaser Cannons, 2 Chin-Mounted Dual Ion Cannons, 4 Dual Laser Cannons (2 mounted either side of the cockpit, and 2 ventral mounted), and 2 Dual Missile Launchers provided an incredibly tough offense.
