The Captain of the Vic II, a tawny furred Felacatian with two black stripes on each cheek, narrows her eyes as she watches the enemy ships maneuvers, recognizing that they have begun to think in terms of withdrawal rather than continued hostility. It is that recognition than enables the Felacatian to act swiftly enough to avert total disaster, for when she correctly deduces that the enemy will almost certainly try and perform a desperate ramming maneuver intended to prevent the defending forces from preventing the rest of the enemy forces from retreating, the captain shouts for her helmsman to bring their bow up, simultaneously angling the Vic II into a turn that will prevent the enemy ship from successfully ramming them while also allowing her tractor beam operators to capture the enemy vessel and hold it in place so that, as the Vic II moves further away, her double heavy turbolaser cannon operators can then fire at will, disabling the enemy ship's shields and then destroying it completely.

*The Orion's captain knew what fate waited for them when the VicII's tractor beam caught a hold of them. Not wanting to die without a fight, the Orion's captain made a quick order to pull all power from the ships shields and other un-needed services and put full power to weapons. As soon as the ships shields dropped, the Orion open fired with everything it had, moments before it was ripped completely to pieces by the VicII's cannons.*

The captain of the Vic II braces herself, as do the rest of the bridge crew, as the captive enemy vessel returns fire in an admirable display of electing to go down fighting to the last and the SD shudders as its shields are put to the test. Before the enemy vessel succumbs to the inevitable and is reduced to an expanding cloud of debris, the Vic II's shields are penetrated in three areas along the side most exposed to the enemy fire, making her captain's first orders in the aftermath of the battle to dispatch fire suppression, medical, and engineering teams to the effected areas to ensure the damage is not allowed to spread and that injured crew are tended to quickly.
Once her orders concerning her ship and crew have been given, the Felacatian scowls as, looking out at the debris from her ship and that of the enemy vessel meeting and colliding, she turns her thoughts to all that must be done in the aftermath of the battle; intelligence teams to be dispatched to examine the debris of the enemy ship to determine if anything useful can be recovered, repairs to set in motion, patrols to be resumed, and a multitude of other details to be sorted out before the full impact of their mysterious attacker's actions can be truly determined.

Chuckling with a shake of her head when her twin had said that while it was OK for Kaiya to handle the navicomputer she would be handling the piloting, Kaiya had simply shaken her head and continued her work; never having been entirely comfortable with piloting, Kaiya is more than happy to let her sister have that duty for not only their current journey but also any others they might take together for the rest of their lives.
Mulling over all that Ellie had said about the Sith they have set out to hunt, Kaiya enters the final keystrokes of their course and leans back in the co-pilot's seat as she asks, "You said he may have trained with the Jedi on Felucia, right? Even if you're right in thinking that they aren't after his group, it might be worthwhile checking with them to see if anyone remembers our Sith. Explaining her reasoning, Kaiaya says, I mean, the more we can learn about him, the better, right?"

*A small grin appeared on Ellie's face. Her twins caught on quick. Finishing her final checks before speaking.* "That's the plan. Hopefully they have something, or we've hit another wall."
*With all the ships boards running green, and a new adventure in front of them, Ellie let out a slow breath before sending the ship into hyperspace.*

Against the backdrop of the span of stars, a small distortion appears as a ship erupts from the emptiness. A small cruiser barely big enough to be considered threatening. It's course that of the wreckage of the derelict Destroyer now ghosting about the small moon. Once the home of an expansive and destructive war, it now stands as nothing more than a relic of a past that seems all but forgotten. And yet, the small cruiser descends towards the wreckage for what feels like hours. The crew departs and, while the hulking remnant of the ship remains lifeless, small flecks of light and electricity can be seen as workers and soldiers pick apart what remains of the slumbering monster of decades past.
As quickly as it arrived, the course of the hours left only for observers to guess it's purpose, the ship begins to stir with energy and breaks away. On board the crew carefully stows away what little can be salvaged of an arm, a weapon and a great deal of records lost inside of inoperable machinery. Only as the ship is moving away from the remains of the Destroyer can any who appear to be observing see that a plethora of explosions erupt from it's metallic bulk to erase any and all evidence of the crews presence before they ultimately depart into the cold, deadness of space through hyperspace. Few could understand what was found upon that dead relic and fewer would comprehend why it had been salvaged. Only one, one of two, would truly understand.

A Lambda T-4 drops out of hyperspace, Lord Loki stands behind the pilots chairs, one occupied by a droid, the other empty, before him spans the wreckage of battle, a battle he seemingly lost. "How.." The ship eased closer and a piece of a hull baring the teeth clamped around a world, insignia drifted by, lifeless bodies floated among the wreckage frozen in time as though like ice. "Find my flag ship." He ordered the droid who entered some commands, soon they neared the remains of the Super star destroyer, but it was shattered, beyond recognition. "This damage is recent." He muttered to himself. "Charges from within, this ship had no self destruct to speak of, interesting." Salvage pirates must have picked apart the remains of this fleet. "Very well. There is nothing for me here, onward's to Naboo." Lord Loki said looking at the Datapad with the blinking light on a map of the galaxy. "My corpse waits." With that the ship turned and moved into the position to leave with a sudden burst of speed it was gone as quick as it had arrived.

The stars shrank back to their individual points of light as the Ori'yaim exited hyperspace above Endor. The crew rushed about as some of them performed system checks, while others prepared the shuttles for launch. Goliath holstered the pair of pistols around his waist and slung the blaster rifle across his back as he made his way out into the main hangar bay. Several prominent Ewok's were loading into shuttles, alongside a handful of the Jawa and Xexto leaders. All of them with the aim to recruit more members of the Ewoks to their Clan.
Clan Ika would grow and prosper. Adding more members so that they could stand alongside their brothers and sisters. Endor would be the first stop of many towards such a goal. Goliath would fulfil his duty and see the Mando way spread. And then. Maybe they would tell stories of how he united his clan and brought the teachings of the Mandos to the smaller races.
Goliath boarded his shuttle and took a seat alongside a couple Ewok's. The ramp closing moments later, before the shuttles took off out of the hangar bay and headed for the surface of Endor. Meanwhile, the Ori'yaim settled in to a sustained orbit around the Forest Moon. Making no aggressive moves against the world

A small fighter appeared against the black void. Exiting hyperspace, it began tumbling toward the forested moon. Shields flickering against the atmosphere, the craft wast otherwise offline and running low on power. Life support systems were barely functioning around a young woman who was barely clinging to life.
Slumped over in the seat, her unconscious body was at the mercy of re-entry.

Captain Gisela Roth, commanding the Victory II-class Star Destroyer, the Adaleiz, tugs the right sleeve of her tunic down fussily as her ship emerges in realspace over the forest moon of Endor. Leaning forward in her command chair, Gisela rests her chin atop the steepled fingers of her gloved hands and watches the hovering holoprojected tactical display in front of her as the other ships under her command for the present operation - Vindicator-class cruiser, the Elke, and a pair of Interdictor-class Star Destroyers, the Athala and the Kriemhild - appear and begin maneuvering for their assigned positions; the Elke remaining near the Adaleiz while the Athala and Kriemhild move out and away to starboard and port respectively to expand the reach of the battlegroup and, in the event their mission flushes any enemies of the First Order out of hiding on the forest moon below, increase the chances they will not elude capture or death.
Sent to investigate the detected activation transmissions of communication arrays on the forest moon by First Order monitoring stations near to the forest moon, Gisela intends to conduct said investigation thoroughly despite her personal doubts that it will prove fruitful; with the Galactic Alliance eradicated and the Jedi seemingly too timid to directly oppose the First Order, the possibility that the activation of the communication arrays represents the presence of an enemy force large enough to pose a credible threat to the First Order seems remote. And yet, Gisela thinks as she gives the orders to have TIE fighter trios deployed to begin patrols and further expand the reach of the battle group, here she and those she commands are, and they will carry out their mission diligently and competently even though it may, in the end, reveal nothing of note.
Also launching from the hangar of the Adaleiz are ten probe droids that are sent to points nearest to the communication arrays as well as four recon lines - each consisting of two modified TIE/IN starfighters that have traded out weapons for enhanced sensor suites - that make for the forest moon's surface, each moving for a different hemisphere so that the scan of the moon is as quick and thorough as possible. On the off chance the recon lines or probe droids detect anything warranting further, closer investigation, Gisela orders Scout Trooper units to make ready to deploy, and then begins waiting for the reports to begin coming in once the probe droids and TIEs begin their search of the forest moon.

From under the storm clouds, on the edge of the small moon, three Ion pulses raced toward the Vindicator-class cruiser. The shots from the V-150 Planet Defender missed, racing over the bow, each shot closer to the metal than the previous. Several moments later, another salvo raced from the surface with intention to hit rather than as a warning.

In a relatively short span of heartbeats, Gisela grasps that her doubts about the probability that the hunt she has been sent on will be an uneventful one have been unfounded. The trio of ion pulses that streak past the Elke's bow, fortunately, are sufficient enough warning for Gisela to shift her mindset into one suitable to the occasion.
Casting a glance towards her weapons officer once the first salvo of enemy fire has ended, Gisela asks, "Do you have a lock on the position of the hostile weapon emplacement?" When the officer nods in reply, Gisela gives him the order to return fire until the weapon has been eliminated. Feeling the thrum and thump of her Star Destroyer's heavy ion cannons, followed shortly by the answering brasso rumble of it's turbolaser batteries raining fire down on the hostile weapon emplacement, Gisela orders her shield operator to redistribute more power to the ship's ventral shields, and then has her helmsman initiate a turn to port while increasing their speed so that the Adaleiz does not present a stationary target for the brief amount of time she anticipates the hostile weapon emplacement will remain a threat.
The second salvo of hostile fire slams into the Elke's ventral shields as her captain also begins maneuvering to attempt to change its position, the shield's almost instantly disabled by the ionized particles that then crash into the Vindicator's hull, causing a cascade of electronic failures that will temporarily cripple the ship.
As she is scowling at the sight of the Elke, drifting lazily to starboard like a stunned leviathan floating in the vast sea of stars, Gisela arches an eyebrow to silently ask her weapons officer if the attack on the surface to orbital weapon emplacement has succeeded, and then hears a report coming in from one of the recon teams, concerning a temple of some kind that a probe droid had detected some signs of power from within. Turning to the holoprojection of the moon's surface to ascertain the area where the temple had been discovered, Gisele hears one of the team's pilots panicked efforts to control his TIE, an effort that ends in static when the pilot's efforts to regain control of his fighter fail.
Turning to her helmsman, Gisele says, "Take us into position to fire on that temple, and then looks to her weapons officer and says, Once we are in position, go weapons free. Level that temple." Not a believer in coincidence, Gisele assumes that the fact that the probe droid deployed to the area near the temple's scans having detected signs of activity most likely means that the attack on her fleet had been coordinated from the temple; an attack that will be answered without any quarter being given. Ordering the Athala to assume a defensive position near the still recovering Elke, Gisele has the other Interdictor, the Kriemhild, accompany her Star Destroyer as it moves into a position over the temple that will soon find itself the target of a relentless hail of turbolaser and ion fire.

Gisele nods when, after the Adaleiz's assault on the temple's shields proves more time consuming than calculated, her weapons officer reports that the diagnostic scan he had performed of the Victory II-class Star Destroyer's targeting computers had found nothing to explain the fact that a small percentage of their weapon's fire was not hitting the target, instead seeming to mysteriously veer off course when nearing the temple's shield. Gisele suspects that there is nothing more mysterious to the phenomenon than a Force user demonstrating once more that the Force, for those who possess the ability to use it, continually redefines what is and what is not possible.
"Continue firing, Gisele orders, adding just as icily, Increase the rate of firing and vary the points along the shield being targeted." Leaning forward in her command chair after zooming in on the temple's location on the holoprojected tactical display hovering in the center of the bridge, Gisele watches to see how long it will take the attack to overwhelm or exhaust the temple's defenders, who, though they appear to be powerful enough to redirect turbolasers and ion bolts, she suspects will not be able to do so for a prolonged period of time.

Gisele arches an eyebrow as she watches the readouts displayed on the holoprojected depiction of the shielded temple maddeningly continue to reveal that her relentless assault is continuing to prove far less effectual than reason would argue that it should be for far longer than would seem possible. "Continue firing," she says calmly, undaunted by the improbability she is witness to.
Shifting her gaze to the holographic depiction of her fleet in orbit, Gisele sees that the pair of Interdictor-class Star Destroyers, the Athala and the Kriemhild, under her command have maneuvered into their assigned positions, and tells her XO, "Have the Athala and Kriemhild target and activate their gravity well projectors now," frowning as she returns her eyes to the depiction of the temple once more, vowing silently that there will be no escape for whatever beings or forces may be vainly sheltering within the temple in the forest on the planet below.

Appearing out of the void, a robed figure bathed in a blue aura stood beside Gisele. His voice was ancient and had a mild humor to it.
You know this is only temporary. We are only temporary and so are you.
He waved a hand in the direction of the other ships in the fleet beyond and out in the Gulf of space the two interdictors began to drift apart; moved by an unknown force.
Erasing this temple will prove nothing. It will do nothing. We are already forgotten, but the scar you will leave with remain for an age.

Emerging from hyperspace, three Gladiator-Class Star Destroyers appear over Endor. Famously known for the ultimate defeat of the Galactic Empire and the deaths of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader, the forest moon was of little interest to most. Important once, now no longer. At least, until today. The resurgent Eternal Empire had set its sights on the small moon. Blossoming with life and radiant in the Force, Endor was now the latest target for the Empire. According to the map, it was the next best location for the Empire to expand to, after their conquest of Bakura. Endor was strategically located and sitting right on the end of the Sanctuary Pipeline hyperspace route that eventually connected with the Rimma Trade Route. Giving the Empire greater access to the larger galaxy and giving them a 'gateway' of sorts, the three Gladiators pushed closer to the planet. Two hung back, remaining in low orbit over the planet while the third accelerated into the atmosphere. Invading a planet was one thing. But in this instance, they were claiming it in the name of the Empire. It would remain largely as it is, save for an outpost, token garrison force and orbital station, once the Empire completed the conquest. Knowing full well what dwelt on the surface and how they had been underestimated before, the Empire decided a more peaceful approach. Only time would tell if this approach would be successful or not...

Taking an unsteady step backwards, her right hand instinctively dropping to the blaster holstered on her hip, Gisele gasps in commingled shock and confusion when the ghostly Jedi appears and addresses her. Recovering her poise to some small degree when the fact that she is being addressed by an apparition rather than a corporeal being, Gisele silences the chattering of her bridge crew as they too realize that they are being visited by the dead, her tone firm and icy even though she herself has only partially recovered from the shock herself, "Stay on task! Keep firing!"
Her eyes widening as she watches the display of power at the hands of the apparition when the tactical display shows the interdictors moving in response to the wave of the ghostly robed figure's hand, Gisele sneers as she bites back at him, "You're putting a great deal of effort into trying to stop something you claim will do nothing, dead man."
Turning from the Jedi spirit when her weapons officer tells her that their attack on the temple on the surface of the forest moon has succeeded at last, Gisele snaps, "On screen, and then smiles as the holoprojected tactical display gives way to a view of the glassy crater where the temple once stood. Waving a hand at the screen, Gisele tells the apparition, It seems that all of your efforts were in vain aft. . ." trailing off when she sees that her intended audience has vanished as suddenly as he has appeared beside her.
Clearing her throat, Gisele fussily pulls the ends of her tunic down as she orders her sensor officer to scan for any signs of activity on the surface near where the temple once stood, and then for any vessels attempting to leave the moon. Once satisfied that there are no indications that anyone survived the assault on the temple, Gisele orders her fleet to set a course for Rendili, and then gives the order to prepare to jump to hyperspace.
Moments later, the ships of her fleet wink from view as they jump to hyperspace.

A single Delta-class T-3c shuttle exits hyperspace in the Endor system and approaches the forest moon. Black hulled and swift, the craft heads in towards the jungle. No lifesigns are on board, simply a YVH droid body, within which is contained the essence of the being known as Omegon.
Though connected via HoloNET to many places throughout the galaxy, since merging its consciousness, its crystalline form had been confined to the YVH body. Omegon had made modifications to both the droid and the shuttle before heading out to the forest moon of Endor. In this out of the way place, it intended to carry out a mission to further its interests.
Omegon had consumed much data concerning the Ewok species, and found them ripe for manipulation. A species that could serve its needs while it worked at higher purpose. Though it had not found records of Force sensitivity among Ewoks, that did not mean it wasn't possible. Omegon would task that as a secondary purpose, should that possibility present itself to be a reality.
Scanning the surface for concentrations of life forms, Omegon selected an abandoned landing pad near one of the Ewok tree villages, and took his shuttle in for a landing...

Following the cultist's defeat over Thyferra, ships of the Dominion could be spotted near other worlds within the Western Outer Rim, their goals unknown. Guided by a single ragtag Providence-class cruiser, the ship would deploy several Nautiloid-Class Droid Controllships, starfighter-sized vessels, who would operate as a matrix. Although they were either shot over most systems as they were seen as a hostile force or orbited there for just a few hours, before they returned towards their capital ship, the Dominion continiued its efforts within the western regions of Corellian space for reasons yet unknown.
Some of these alien ships would eventually enter the orbit of Endor. Three vessels, nothing of further notion. Once the starfighters were within the system, they began to scan for droid activity. Call out for them. The cultist pilots aboard the small controllships, designated as the Anglerfish Division knew that this wasn't an ordinary mission, for the Prophet had given them a clear task: To screen the galaxy for droid or mechanic life, that would react towards the Dominion's attempts to contact and controll battle droids on a foreign frequence. Most specifically the sectors towards the southern west - the borders of the known galaxy. Somewhere here were the Sorcerers hoping to find something, which might be another key within the greater pathway, for the cryptic missions of the Prophet always lead to something of greater importance. Now, as the controllships were transmitting their signals within the orbit of the Forest moon diligently, it was to find out what it was.

Omegon's shuttle, parked down on the forest moon, alerted the Shard to the presence of ships in orbit. Transmissions from the vessels were searching for droids. Omegon, down on Endor's surface, decided to make contact.
