Needing to field a corvette that could boast a potent arsenal and maintain a defensive role, the Archonian Gunship was made. Like most Archonian designs, it was artistic and elegant as much as it was versatile and functional, as well as semi-aquatic, able to make water landings when necessary and even submerge with no ill effects.



The gunship was armed with 3 quad turbolaser turrets, 4 double turbolaser cannons, 6 quad laser turrets and 3 concussion missile tubes, giving it the ability to go toe-to-toe with capital-grade starships as well as starfighters where necessary. It had speed comparable to starfighters, enabling it to perform blockade runs or fighter pursuit as the need arose.

Operating with a crew of 30 personnel and 20 gunners, it could manage with a minimum crew of 2, and carried up to 500 metric tons of cargo, with consumables of up to 8 months, with additional room for up to 50 troops, this versatile corvette was ship to be reckoned with in any fleet.
