The roof top of the Tiernvael Temple was a giant round platform accessible from the staircases that flanked the Throne Platform in the Throne Room below. The Meditation Canyon can be seen upon the horizon to the west of the Temple. A handful of plants existed around the edge of the roof top

*Ronin arrives at a brisk pace. Wasting no time, he unfolds an item wrapped in cloth, a partially destroyed helmet, and places it on the deck of the roof top. He then removes a crystal and a Holocron from his robes. and places them in a perfect triangle. He takes off his outer robe and tosses on the ground. He then sits directly in front of the three items crossed-legged.*
**Ronin had spent a good portion of his families nigh-limitless fortune to obtain these items. As before, when he demonstrated to the Empress, Ronin made himself a conduit for the Dark side.**
*He lifts himself and the three items, telekinetically in a hover.*
**Ronin knows full well, by making himself a conduit, that he could be torn apart by the energy he begins to focus through himself. That it would take extraordinary focus only someone whom has mastered themselves. It would take days, but he would draw every ounce of the Dark side he could throughout the planet and attune the very temple itself into a font for the Dark side, as the Dark side's will would allow. Even if it destroyed him in the process. He accepted his fate. But his knowledge was extensive, and he would prove without a doubt, that he would make this a spiritual home for the DJO. Making him worthy of the title: Midnight Cardinal.**
