*Endor's terrain was largely covered by massive, tightly-knit pine and redwood forests. However, the Forest Moon also contained vast dry deserts and grassy plains, small oceans, secluded lakes, and mountain ranges. The Forest Moon was temperate and mild, with polar caps regulating the sea levels.*

An Ewok ran through the forests of its homeworld, for its life. It screamed curses of demons and evil spirits in between its panicked gasps for air to keep itself moving. It carried the wrong end of a broken spear, too scared to unclench its fist that held the broken stick. What the Ewok did not know was that it had been dead for nearly half an hour.
It was a change of pace for the ancient Assembler that was named Falmorn to chase prey, though he did little actual chasing. This was a very lopsided game of Spider and lesser being. He had been killing several Ewoks that had been encroaching on his new home. Ever since he had left the safety of his Asteroid he had run into nothing but lesser creatures not worth the air they occupied. He would do away with everyone in the Galaxy if he had the chance. Better to do away with the weak and the weak willed, and start over. Though he did have to admit that hunting this Ewok awakened something in him he had not felt in centuries.
He struck as soon as the Ewok stopped, thinking he had outrun the large creature chasing him. Almost out of nowhere Falmorn flew out from behind cover of several trees and wrapped his appendages around the diminutive Ewok, crushing its body slowly. The screams echoed throughout the forest, and Falmorn moved up a tree, still squeezing the life out of the furry being. As the last bit of breath escaped the Ewok's lungs, Falmorn released him, letting him fall to the ground with a sickening thud against the hard ground. Falmorn moved back down the tree, and watched as several of his Nodes moved in for dinner. Falmorn moved past the feast, and went back into his web, deep in the dark recesses of the forest. The fibers spread from tree to tree, branch to branch. He reconnected himself to his web and a low growl rumbled through him as he felt every inch of his domain. There was something about being on a planet compared to the environment of deep, dark space. It was different, but almost not in a bad way.

*It had all started out as a simple idea: Visit the forest moon of Endor, get acquainted with the local enclave there, and generally get to see a little more of the galaxy. What Morgan hadn't expected was that she, Jake, and Serena would end up stranded in the forest. Now, it was a pretty forest, maybe not as pretty as the ones on Belkadan, and definitely not as pretty as any on Felucia, but being out here on their own wasn't exactly the best start ever to a vacation.
Especially when Morgan had no attachment to the world like she did on Felucia.* Guys? Does anybody know maybe which direction we came from? Was it that way? *She pointed in a completely random direction. On Felucia, she could have found their paths easily, or even sensed the way if she couldn't tell by sight. But in a strange environment like this? She was hopelessly lost.*

Serena had been rather enjoying the visit to Endor when they had first arrived there. Despite the fact that it was wholly different from Haruun Kal or Felucia, she found that she rather liked it here. The forests were peaceful, the air was fresh and it seemed like an excellent place to just walk into and explore.
Well that was all well and good but now they had somehow gotten lost. Serena, Morgan and her brother Jake now found themselves in the middle of nowhere, and since Morgan didn't have a connection to this place, there was no sure fire way to tell where they were.
She shook her head at Morgan's question. No matter which way she turned, everything looked the same."I don't know. Everything looks the same! I feel like we're going around in circles or something!"

*Jake still had his lit lightsaber out and was keeping an eye on his surroundings, not wanting to be ambushed again. That had been quite the experience earlier, just a simple exploration of the surrounding forest when suddenly a very large boar had appeared from nowhere, and they'd had to lose it. It had been far too large to fight, even if they had been on Felucia, and he wasn't sure if Morgan would have been able to tame it then either way.
Rush would have been nice to have right about now.
But they'd lost it, and they were... deep in the forest. With no direction whatsoever. Jake couldn't recognize the way they'd come or which way they could go; it was all so foreign to him. Even in Felucia he'd managed to develop a little sense of direction, but he had no such sense here. Neither, it seemed, did Morgan; he could very much tell that the direction she was pointing in was random. There had to be some idea.* Maybe we could— ah! *He'd flinched when something flew right past his face and he shielded it with his left arm before backing off, looking up to see that it had only been Lokay, who'd taken flight earlier during the scramble and apparently had finally located them. Jake sure was glad he'd kept his lightsaber down, as he watched the little black-and-red tailring cling to Morgan's shoulders and sit there, looking a little restless himself. Jake frowned as his mind returned to their current predicament, then looked back at Morgan as he had another thought.* Try your datapad, maybe?

*Serena didn't know and only felt the same as Morgan: That they were just going around in circles. Not exactly what she wanted to hear. Jake seemed to have an idea, which was interrupted by Lokay flying by and startling him. Normally it would have been humorous, but Morgan was just glad to see Lokay was back and safe. She nuzzled against him and he her, then she looked back to Jake as he presented his idea: Try her datapad.
Morgan wasted no time in speaking, only pulling the device free and looking down at it as she turned it on. But to her dismay, there was no reception being picked up by the device. She sighed and hung her head, letting her arms fall to her sides. They really were lost. But there had to be settlements, right? They just had to find one was all. She picked her head up, taking a deep breath and releasing it, then looked between her two friends.* We better start looking for people, then, or we'll never get out of here.

Serena was discouraged to say the least when Morgan had no luck with her datapad, and with that, they really were well and truly lost. Her first thought was the same as Morgan's, that they should try to find someone, but the problem was, again, the lack of direction. Still, there had to be other settlements out here, and maybe they were close to one or something like that. They had to try.
She nodded, an idea occurring to her."Maybe there's an Ewok village nearby. They're friendly to humans, so I bet if we find one of their villages, maybe they can help us."It would be better than just staying out in the middle of nowhere waiting for something else to come chasing them from the underbrush at least.

*Ewoks? Morgan tilted her head. She always liked Ewoks, they looked so cute and fluffy and cuddly. So while initially Morgan seemed very excited by the idea of going to a village full of Ewoks, that elation slowly deflated when she realized another certain problem with that idea.* But... what if they don't know Basic? We won't be able to talk to them...

Serena's brow furrowed as Morgan brought up a good point. Even if the Ewoks were friendly, and she was certain they would be, they wouldn't be able to help them find their way back if they couldn't understand Basic. Still, even if they didn't understand, it would be better than just sitting around in the middle of nowhere.
She shrugged."Even if they can't talk to us, it would still be better than just hanging around being lost in the woods! Come on, we should start moving before that...boar thing comes back!"

*Ewoks? That was an interesting idea. But what if they didn't— Oh, Morgan had already voiced the language barrier concern. So now what? Well, Serena seemed insistent on the village idea, that it was better than being stranded in the middle of nowhere. That was true, Jake supposed... if he was his dad, he'd search all settlements, including Ewok ones, for any sign of his lost children, especially if they were known to be friendly to humans.* Yeah, Dad'll look for us, and it'd be easier to find us there. Besides, even if they don't speak Basic, we can probably find another way to talk to them! Like... sign language, or pictures, or something... *He'd have suggested looking up an Ewokese dictionary, but if they could do that, they could have just called for help, so never mind that idea. He was still working on just how they'd communicate to Ewoks that they needed to find a way home without words, but they could figure that part out when it came to it.*

*Morgan listened to both their cases, that it'd be better than being out here in the woods, that they should get away before the boar thing came back, and that they could find ways to communicate without using words. She was a little skeptical, but she supposed it would be better if they made it to a village after all; if they really were friendly to humans, they'd at least be sheltered and maybe fed too, which was more than they could say for being in the woods.
So, submitting, she nodded.* Okay, let's get moving I guess. *She wasn't sure where to go, so she stopped for a moment, attempting to ask the Force for a direction to lead her in. It was nowhere near as simple as it was on Felucia, where she could just ask her mother for aid, and she'd give it. But the Force still answered, just not as quickly, and gave her a general direction, which she turned toward.* Let's try this way. *And with that, she headed off where the Force told her to go. Would it work? She had no idea, but it was their best bet right now.*

Serena followed Morgan, hoping that this was a good direction to take. Hopefully it was back towards the enclave where they had landed, but a friendly Ewok village or something like that would suffice as well. Anything to be safer from whatever predators might be lurking in the forest. She kept a wary eye out through the foliage in case something else leaped out at them, wishing she had a lightsaber like Morgan and Jake. Of the group, she was the only one who was unarmed. That didn't mean she couldn't fight, but it still would have been nice...

*This hadn't exactly been how Michelle had expected to spend her first day arriving at Endor. She'd arrived feeling accomplished, having successfully singlehandedly navigated from Felucia to Endor without the aid of another or a droid, but when she'd met up with her brother, there had already been something of a situation: Morgan, Jake, and their friend Serena were nowhere to be found along with Lokay, having last been seen just outside the base.
But Michelle, not one to be idle, had taken up the case of hunting the children on her own, and there was not a hint of smugness about her when her brother granted her this task without hesitation. She'd already done her research of the moon, of its wildlife and landmarks and predators. She took her equipment with her, food and water and supplies for a small campsite. She had maps and a datapad on hand to help with the tracking, and the datapad had an extra-strength tracker so she herself would not get lost as well. Michelle herself was confident she wouldn't end up lost anyway, because she had a pretty strong hunch about where the children would go:
The nearest Ewok village.
It made sense to Michelle, if she had been chased off into the wilderness, she'd want to find the nearest civilization if she didn't know the way back home. She started by searching the area, and sure enough she could see the signs of where a borra had crashed through the brush, crushed bushes, turned-aside plants, and chipped tree bark. Michelle could see no signs of injury to anyone, which was good, though she had to be alert in case the borra came back. Eventually, the signs of struggle ceased, and it was indeed a fair distance from the base, far enough that anyone who didn't know their way would certainly be unsure of where to go.
Michelle checked her map, made note of her location in relation to the base and to the nearest Ewok village, then picked her trajectory and began her journey...*

Post by Jayro Fett on Jan 7, 2015 19:49:28 GMT -8
The bright blue sky shined down with its penetrating light that glimmered threw the tree line above. Jay dragged his wrist against his sweaty forehead waiting for the older man in the torn traditional Jedi robes to prep both of the speeders securing both pouches around the rear end of it. Come on old man we don't have all day.. Clearly he was speaking disrespectfully, though Jay usually got moody with this discomfort of temperature seeing as he's originally from the colder regions of Alderaan.
The speeders were prepped and ready. He stood waiting with his blaster held firmly in his right hand, but not once did he aim the barrel at him. There was a strict line Jayro would never pass and that was murder of the elderly, women, children and basically the good people. There is the right and the wrong, he understands the difference but sometimes he just doesn't care if he has to snag a few credits but nothing more then he needed. Immediately after prepping the vehicles the old man chuckled as he stood up straight revealing his grizzled beard and wrinkled face. You can return your weapon to your holster my friend. That heap of metal can't do anything to me!
He said with a smile, it wasn't confidence though. Whatever you say. Taking no curiosity to what he meant the young man looked down at the pouch full of crystals of many colors he took from a cave deep out into the wilderness. He heard the myth...sort of a legend chaser Jayro is. While being chased by another party familiar to many. How far do you expect to get before your caught. May I suggest a different route rather then an easy way out? He said with a smile which caused Jay to pause with a blank expression. Well you must of expected some sort of authorities here...
He did think about it. In fact he had a weird feeling coming to this planet, his gut feeling always proved to serve him. The only person I've encountered on this 'civilizationless' planet was a crazy old man lost in a cave. If there's anyone who needs a route correction it's you buddy. He threw his leg around the other side of the speeder while the man stood next to the other one. He took a deep breath and looked over at the man once more yet said nothing.
I feel our paths are bound to cross more then once on this ''civilizationless'' planet. He looked away from him before pulling the clutch and speeding off in an instant in the opposite direction. His eyes squinted to the feeling of a burning sensation from the smog left behind, the old man brushed his beard and then looked the way they came from since Jayro had told him to lead him to these speeders. There were two of them, one was his own and the other his apprentice. Though she hadn't returned from the cave yet, he was suppose to be waiting for her outside the cave until Jay came along. He took this time to sit on the ground and meditate, connecting with the force around him.

Things were never going to be simple in his life, ever since he deserted his brothers. A trial by fire made many Mandalorian warriors who they are today but his clan sought out blood threw flames, threw power. He expected to fight a great beast or legendary warrior but it was his own father his clan chief pinned him against, though it was not death that was bestowed upon the loser. Nothing less then pure shame and exile. In the end he couldn't strike down his unarmed opponent, not to mention his own father. So instead he deserted and Jayro Fett has been running ever since but no matter how fast or far he traveled there was no corner of this galaxy he would be forever safe. He kept going. They have your ship!
The gust of wind beneath his speeder left behind a faint trail in the dirt racing between each and every tree with great focus. He couldn't take much surprise to the voice heeding a warning in his head unless he wanted every bone in his body broken. He let go of the clutch as the engine waned down with a rough flutter as if water had gotten into it, he only realized now after stopping that the stench coming from the engine was enough to blow your sinuses wide open. Now he was without a speeder. Maybe that old guy sabotaged it...either way he intended on getting his ship back one way or another.
Cavern of Broken Dreams
Who would known a Jedi's trail would take place in the same cavern that changed many Ewoks into the great warriors they are today. There weren't as many crystals here as there were on other planets like Dantooine but nevertheless she could feel the force here. No doubt she owed her master an apology, this proved to exceed her expectations. Where most of the Ewoks were not force sensitive, it was as if the hidden power had only awoken reacting to a force wielders presence. She felt nervous. Sweat rolled down her forehead as a sudden darkness grew with the dimming light but that did not last when her green lightsaber ignited creating the green glow when suddenly from out of the darkness and into the flash of green, the menacing Imperial commander Draco lifted his gloved hand and smacked the Jedi to the ground.
She fell in total grief as memories flooded in, that painful day when her father was killed by the Imperial commander. The green flash of his lightsaber grinding against the beskar blade with sparks igniting in between the friction. Her fathers death was bloody, a Jedi weapon usually sealed a cut almost instantly due to the intense heat but the raw edge of an old fashioned blade proved to be messy at times. Draco was a madman. Time to join your father Jinora! The man screamed at her after she stood up with her weak legs, shaking her head.
It's not real..it's not real. She said again with the teeth clenching tone. Jinora took a deep breath and recalled her Jedi training, every moment she spent with Master Endor and she seized those moments. She used them to guide her in this- suddenly her eyes widened, her pupils rattled and her jaw vibrated like she were cold. In his right hand he raised his blood dripping Beskar blade, she could even smell her fathers blood staining the blade. Insulting her memory of him. Corrupting the good moments and replacing them with fear. Her father died and suffered like many of the ancient Jedi did before the Lightsaber. He was gutted and driven threw. Though he accepted his defeat and let down his guard to set an example for his own daughter. She thought, he never gave into anger. A faint yet shaken smile crossed her lips as she nodded, tears now rolling down her cheeks. Even in death your wisdom never fails to guide me father.
Draco's mouth parted, his raised weapon halted in mid air when slowly his image dissipated like an eroding cloud parted by the wind. She had a moment of silence, looking down to what was once her fathers Jedi weapon. Perhaps it was time to let him go fully for deep down she never got over his death, not until now. Something told her things would get better, a voice, a powerful presence she felt that soon vanished. It was time she took up her own, Jinora raised the green saber up over her head just in front when the green light reflected off of a small blue crystal set upon a flat rock. She felt now, that this trial had just come to an end and that dark chapter of her life could be put to rest.
Meanwhile . . .
He could not stop here. More of these damn robed people like some sort of lost crazy cult hunting down a sacrifice. The few Jedi here were those that came to this planet with that old man and his pupil, but Jayro didn't know that. These Jedi were foreign to this planet indeed, not the Shadows that train here. Two of them were also just as old as the other guy except the third young Jedi that was most likely here with his master, not old enough to go threw the trials just yet. Maybe he could take these crazy cultist...maybe he couldn't. Either way they were going to take his ship over his cold dead corpse. Wrong ship friend. This time it was personal, his blaster at aim.
He realized they haven't even boarded his ship, they were waiting in fact. Did the old man really manipulate Jayro to basically hand his own ship over to him? They must of been watching the moment he set foot out here. He bobbed the end of his barrel to the left motioning for them to step aside. I'm really not in the mood. This wasn't the first time he got into a stand off, but a first time against three people armed with hilts, ironically he had more knowledge about a lightsaber then he did of a Jedi. So he didn't really know what he was up against..

*The Cobalt came tearing out of orbit, fire engulfed the ships hull before quickly dying out. Forwards thrusters activated, slowing the ships rapid decent as it passed mere meters above the academy. As the frigate began to pass over the academy, small hatches on the ships underside opened up and a large group of beings attached to metal cables began to drop out. Each wore light flexible armor and carried carbines modified to fire slugs instead of blasters. As each being hit the end of their line, the cable pull tight and swung them towards the building. Some managed to break through windows others landed on balconies or walkways. Once all thirty of the soldiers were clear, the Cobalt picked up speed and headed away from the academy. The frigate wasn't even out of sight, and the soldiers were already moving towards their intended targets, communications, defense systems and generators.*

*The captain of the Cobalt watched the last soldiers vital go flat from his position on the bridge. All the data he came for had now been collected. Turning to his communication officer, he gave a nod. Quickly, the officer began to transmit the data to orbit. All the while the captain activated a switch on the ships main control board. A soft hiss filled the bridge as a cylinder rose from the center of the room. The cylinder was small, half as round as a man and half the height. Sitting in it's center was hand scanner and a simple toggle switch. The captain walked over to the cylinder and placed his hand on the scanner. After several seconds, the scanner turned green. He then turned his attention to the communications officer, who gave a nod indicating that the data was sent successfully. The captain returned the nod, gave a low sigh, and hit the toggle switch. Instantly the cabin erupted into flames as a massive explosion rocked the ship. The explosion on the bridge set off a chain reaction throughout the vessel. One by on, high yield explosive detonated inside the vessel, sending debris and fire in every direction. Within moments, the Cobalt was no more.*

De'ath ...
She took a deep breath and blinked awake. She just sat there, breathing and blinking for a few moments as she woke from unconsciousness. Sparks sputtered from a few conduits on the wings of the fighter; their electric sizzle was the only sounds pouring in from the forest around her.
She moved her various muscle groups as she sat in the seat. Sore, but otherwise functional, she said a silent thanks to the ship's designers for keeping her alive.
With a sigh, she unbuckled herself and grabbed her bag. Her datapad lit up.
Dee, I am having difficulty determining our location. Perhaps we should locate some higher ground or some shelter soon. It is night, but the few remaining sensors on the ship picked up a thunderstorm headed our way.
She didn’t say anything, but her silent acknowledgment was enough for AVI. She began walking, trudging into the dark. The forest floor was dense with vegetation, and traversing it was doubly difficult in the shadow of the dark side of the planet.
Dee, I’ve picked up some faint radio signals to our west. There seems to be an old Imperial outpost which may have some supplies we need.
You think it’s abandoned?
There is a high probability, yes.
The short distance turned out to be closer than either one had anticipated. Less than two kilometers away was a satellite array overgrown with vines and debris. One of the dishes was shattered, and another was missing a large chunk off the side. The doors to the main facility were cracked open, with the only sounds being the gentle wind whistling against the slit.
AVI, I think this will be a good place to get our bearings.
Indeed. Plug me into the door panel, and I’ll get started.
She took a data cable from the data pad and ran it into the rusted port on the door panel.
I’m in. Let me be the first to welcome you to the forested moon of Endor in the western Outer Rim. This facility was a communications base for the Imperial Navy at the height of their power. It was completely abandoned and shut down shortly after the destruction of the second Death Star.
Dee slipped through the crack in the door, flicking on her torch as she proceeded down the hallway.
There is limited power in the facility, and the communications equipment seems to have been stripped. There is a medical facility down and to your right that may have some supplies for you, and on the next level down is the mess hall, though I don’t believe there will be many supplies there for you.
She stepped into the med bay. Tables were overturned, and several droids were piled in the corner. They looked destroyed. The cabinets had a couple of broken bacta jars and bandages. Dee took the dry bandages and tools and stored them away. The sealed pills and gels were most likely too old and outdated to be used.
She walked into the mess hall. It was small, only large enough for a couple dozen people. It was more of a dining room, but all of the tables were overturned. The stale stench of decay still lingered in the dust. Approaching the tables, she counted 7 skeletons in heaps
Poor b*stards She Muttered.
She shook her head and took a look in the kitchen. Stepping over another two skeletons, she peeked into the pantry. A few boxes of unopened rations sat on the floor. Upon closer inspection, she saw the bottom boxes had been ruined by rain and had holes in it.
Rodents. Gross.
She opened a top box and gathered a few of the good rations, stuffing them and a few utensils into her bag.
AVI, is there an armory nearby?
Yes, but it is likely it has been cleared. It’s on the next level.
He was right. The armor and weapons racks were bare. Not even a box opener was left. Attached to the room was the barracks. Most of the beds were overturned, but the room was void of death through the walls were pocked with blaster scars and dents. A few of the footlockers were shut, hinges rusted with time. She kicked a few of them open to see if there was anything worth borrowing. Gloves, a pair of boots, an officers cap. She put on the cap.
Hey AVI, plus one intelligence?
Sure, but it looks like you would drop in rank a couple of notches. Losing several levels would be more detrimental I fear.
Laughing, she tossed it on a bed nearby. Nothing looked better than the naval gear she had on, and only a couple of boxes had anything that would fit her.
-----
It was a bit of a climb, but she got to the top of the satellite array and began looking around. They were on top of a large rounded hill and were the highest point for hundreds of kilometers. In the distance against the black sky, she saw a thick spire. It looked unnatural against the surrounding forest.
AVI, any idea what that is?
I believe it is an enclave of some sort. There are no radio transmissions coming from it, and its power signature is nonexistent based on the readings of the local sensors. I suggest we wait till it is day before we head that way. According to the local chronometer, that is seven point 6 hours from now.
An enclave? For the Gray Jedi?
Perhaps. Unfortunately, the location services have been severely damaged in this facility, so I am still trying to calculate our estimated location. There is a hangar bay on the other side of the clearing, we should check there for any transportation.
Dee began the climb back down. The cold wind was beginning to pick up as clouds began approaching on the horizon. The distant sound of thunder echoed through the trees.
-----
The hangar bay door was wide open. Decades of debris had accumulated in the open space. Two walkers lay destroyed in the back of the hangar, and a pile of speeder bikes lay heaped in the corner.
AVI powered on some of the limited lighting as Dee attempted to free a bike from the pile. Its plating was dented and rusty, but most of its mechanicals looked to be intact. She tried to power it on, and it sputtered for a few moments and died. She tried a couple more times before turning to the pile to see if one of the others would be more luck.
Dee, perhaps you should tackle this project later. You are exhausted and need to eat and rest.
Let me try a couple more. Two, and then I’ll go relax in the ready room over there.
The next two were of limited luck. One sputtered like the first, and the other didn’t even power on. Determined, she stopped, sighed and headed for the ready room to eat one of the rescued rations and sit for a moment.

AVI turned on the lights in the Ready Room ahead of Dees. The fluorescents flickered to life perhaps for the first time in decades. Blaster marked pocketed the thick window, marking the site of a hard-fought battle between the remaining Imperial forces and the recently victorious Rebellion.
Dees plopped into one of the seats, threw her feet on the inoperable console in front of her and leaned back. Reaching into her bag, she got one of the old imperial rations out, poured it and some water into a cup she picked up in the mess and gave it a stir. It inflated, but not as much as it should have, and the smell was a bit off. She took a bite and found it to be less than optimal, but sufficient.
AVI, these things don’t really go bad, do they?
No, they are chemically stable, but their nutrition will fade over time.
She shrugged and took another enthusiastic bite. Looking around the hangar, she began to wonder how long this equipment had been sitting around since it was last occupied.
AVI, do you have any lockdown on some communication with the outside universe? Maybe we can let someone from headquarters know where we are and have a ride arranged.
She took a bite in the silent moment. Odd for AVI to not respond immediately.
AVI?
I apologize; I am having difficulty with some self-diagnostics at the moment. I am attempting to determine if the lack of communication channels is an internal error on my part or if there is no functioning equipment on this base. I have attempted to scan all known GalCorp communication bands, but all I am receiving is static. It is also possible that the planet is interfering with communications and that we are not currently aligned with an accessible beacon. I will let you know as soon as I know more, but in the meantime, it appears we are on our own. There is a storm headed this way if we can secure speedy transportation to the nearby enclave, we may be able to beat it. Otherwise, I would recommend staying local until the storm passes.
Dee finished the last of her deflated ration, rinsed out the cup, and put it away.
Ok, breaks over then. Keep on it AVI. I’ll get us out of here.
She grabbed another bike off the pile, and another and another. None of them were functioning properly. Frustrated, she kicked one nearby. Pain shot up her leg and she danced around in pain as she swore at the inanimate object, flipping it two birds.
I’m starting to run out of bikes here. AVI, do you have any open processed to help me diagnose these bikes?
She looked them over, squatting down and trying to notice anything in particular. She wasn't the most technically minded person, but she had some ideas of how to do mechanic work. Very basic stuff. But if she had to do any mechanical swaps-
It appears their fuel reserves are low. Try linking them together to get all of the fuel moved into one. There should be an equipment closet nearby that should have a fuel transfer line.
Thanks

Running fuel was an easy, albeit tedious process, but about 30 minutes later, she had the best looking bike fueled and ready to go.
Here goes nothing.
It began to sputter to life before humming and hovering above the hangar floor. Its tanks showed enough range to get around the forested moon without any problem. She pulled an old set of riding gear out of the ready room. It was a little too loose for her, but it was infinitely better than getting beat up by branches and bugs on the ride over. She secured the helmet as best as she could, running a comm line from her datapad
AVI, you there?
Yes, we have just enough time to beat the storm if we head out now. I am shutting down my processes here at this facility. It is of no more use to us at this point.
Agreed. Last one out gets the lights.
I 'll take care of it
Dee twisted the throttle and disappeared into the forest.
----
All power systems were shut off at the facility. No radiation would be detectable from the facility, and it fell silent, only to be found by chance among the ever-encroaching forest of the moon.

The loose-fitting riding gear helped keep the wind from biting her and the occasional branch from cutting her, but once the rain started, it was more of a water scoop. She was soaking wet. The gear was probably waterproof when it was first made, but it had been worn and aged, the seams dry rotted, and the loose fitting nature of it left it open to collect all of the water hitting her.
AVI, how much farther
She had to yell over the torrent of water she raced through
A couple more minutes out.
This bike wasn’t as fast as I was hoping for
No, it seems it didn’t age well
Dee continued to dodge trees and shrubs, but the forest was beginning to clear around her, and it became easier to ride. The forest was dark now, and she was relying on the bikes radar to navigate. Through the darkness, a hint of light began to appear to her right. Banking in the direction of the glow, she came to a dirt road dimly lit by solar lights.
Think this takes us there?
It is likely.
As he replied, they passed between a pair of large statues. The two gray Jedi forms held their right arms outstretched into the forest, their other arms held to their backs.
Dee didn’t have time to consider all of their features as she rode past. She just gunned the throttle.
The courtyard before the looming temple was clear of debris and vegetation in an unnatural way. The grounds were not completely up kept but were distinguishable from the rest of the forest. Dee parked the bike in front of the large door. Gentle blue illumination around the looming structure was occasionally overpowered by flashes of lightning. Running to the door panel, she hooked the data pad to it
AVI, can you get this open?
The massive door groaned under its own weight. Dee ran inside, and the door closed behind her.
Once inside, the muffled roar of the rain was almost drowned out by the sheer stillness and silence of the space. Smooth concrete walls were lightly lit at the bottom with blue lights, leaving the ceiling to disappear into the darkness. Lining the room in the recesses of the walls were statues of various masters, each standing about 2 meters tall, their bodies and faces fully lit. Dee felt their eyes staring at her; through her.
As she approached the center of the entrance hall, a hologram sputtered into focus. An old bearded man approached her.
Greetings, and welcome to the Temple of the Night Jedi. I am Elder Patriarch Job. I do apologize, but it seems all of our masters are gone, if you could state your name we will see to you shortly.
I am De'ath Thu'ker
The hologram paused, head twitched slightly to the side inquisitively. De'ath? Ah! If you will follow the illuminated hallway here to the right and take a seat in the third office to the left, someone will be with you shortly.
The hologram dispersed and the hallway lit up a little brighter. She decided to humor the automated message. The facility was completely empty. The only sounds were the storm outside and her breathing and footsteps. There was no noise coming from the environmental systems, the lights weren’t buzzing, and there was nothing coming from the electronics. And the fine layers of dust on everything spoke about an absence of any life for quite some time.
Stepping into the office, she took a seat in a chair facing a desk without even thinking about it. It took a few moments for the realization to hit her and she laughed. Wet clothes dripping, she started to get chilly in the stale air. She was about to get up when the air on the other side of the desk began to warp.
In the desk chair opposite her, a cloud of black smoke materialized and imploded into the form of a man.
Ne'aol?
He sat in silence, staring at her. He reached up to his chin and mouth and held his head in thought. The silence was now even quieter than before; palpable. He moved his hand while shifting his weight in the chair, pointing at her he opened his mouth and breathed, paused, and closed his mouth again. Dee was equally puzzled, and she decided to break the silence and open her mouth to speak. He interrupted her. You can’t be here.
I'm sorry I was just seeking shelter from-
No. I mean you, De'ath, literally, physically cannot be in my old office in the abandoned Night Jedi Temple on the forest moon of Endor. Right now. You aren't De'ath Thu'ker, so who are you and why do you look like her?
She sat there with her mouth agape. She was at a loss for words and was looking around the room. What do you mean I can’t be- I am Dee! Like, I don’t know who else I would be. I woke up this morning; I was me. I was in command of my ship, and we were attacked, abandoned ship, and I wound up way off course, which is odd that I wound up here and all but yeah. I know those memories, I am me. I am De'ath.
No. When you woke up this morning, you came and had breakfast with your crew and me before loading up for your expedition. An expedition that was going in the opposite direction of your galaxy. This is another point as to why it is physically impossible for you to be here. He got up out of his seat and raised his arms, motioning to the room before letting them fall to his side. He paused and looked at her. I watched you leave in the cruiser. I watched it light fold away. If you headed back to this galaxy, it would take you months, and you have only been gone a few hours. You are an imposter, and you must leave.
He motioned toward the door. Dee stood up in protest. One, no, I’m not leaving. It’s storming outside. Two, and most importantly, I am not an imposter! And Light folding? That was just a theory of mine; it wasn’t real. And I didn’t have breakfast with you because I ate with my first mate and nav officer. And I can’t leave until we make contact with GalCorp to come and get me. I have nowhere else to go.
He looked at her in silence for a few moments. Gal? He shook his head. The corporation is dissolved. With the rise of the First Order, we gathered our people and you, well, you know, showed up with a light fold drive prototype. We got it working and our people fled to a new home. We are in a galaxy far, far away now. All of us, even you.
She slumped back into the chair. The weight of the moment began to hit her. So I am alone in this galaxy. No. No! That can’t be! There has to be... She trailed off. Ne'aol went back to his seat and collapsed into it. They sat in silence for a few minutes. She was still trying to process what he had said. None of it made any sense. Is it possible the anti-matter detonation caused my hyperdrive to malfunction and fling me into the future like yours did?
Possibly. AVI, how close were you and De'ath to the actual explosion when you made the jump to hyperspace.
One moment sir. If my calculations are correct, I would postulate that the initial pre-waves had overtaken us, with the actual explosion - and the only way would be to make a visual verification with the fighter wreckage - actually overtaking the ship. If this is correct, the fighter would be missing its engines and depending on how far off my calculations are, some or most of the hyperdrive housing and shielding would be missing.
AVI, why didn’t you bring this up earlier?! We were in the explosion?
Dee, unfortunately until now, my process has been focused on our imminent survival.
Ne'aol got up again and rested his hand on her wet head. He took a deep breath, then reached down and touched her shoulder. De'ath. Come, you have had a long day and a lot to process. I’m going to take you to Master Val's old quarters; you should be able to find something that fits you there. We have no food here, but the water should still be pure. I will get some of the facility power back online for you. But now you have a lot to process. Go rest; we will talk later.
She looked up at him, offered a small smile, got up and walked out of the room. The hallway was lit up showing her to the room. Once inside the door, she fell back against it. Her brain was moving a million miles a minute, and she was having trouble focusing on anyone thought.
She began stripping out of the wet clothes, piling them up on the floor by the door. A long hot shower is exactly what she needed. Clean and warm, she wrapped her hair and sat on the bed with a field ration bar and a glass of water. She just didn’t know what to think. As exhaustion overtook her, she crawled into bed and drifted off.
----
Ne'aol watched De'ath leave his office. He went back around to his desk and activated a holo-viewer. An amorphous sphere of every color imaginable appeared.
AVI?
Yes, sir?
I read her mind. She speaks the truth, doesn’t she?
This is a rhetorical question?
Yes. I see that she does. But it puzzles me that there are two De'ath Thu'kers in the universe now.
It is odd, sir. I am attempting to process how this could be, but my calculations keep coming up short.
Ne'aol leaned against the desk and looked up at the ceiling.
AVI, have you considered multiverse theory?
