Designed at Mezhra Station over Clak'dor VII, and built at the Dromund Kalakar Shipyards, the Laztura-Class Automated Starfighter was the Blackguard's attempt at creating a fully automated starfighter. While relatively successful when used en-mass, individually the starfighters were still eventually outwitted by sentient pilots. Despite this minor setback, realizing it was a useful addition to the Blackguard's Navy and it fell in compliance with the Spirian Reform, full production continued.
Armed with 2 heavy laser cannons on either side of the cockpit, 2 proton torpedo launchers were equipped beneath the laser cannons. 2 fire-linked ion cannons were equipped to the wing tips to aid the starfighter in being able to cripple and/or disable enemy fighters and starships.
