The Archon was built and designed at the Dromund Kalakar Shipyards as a mobile weapons platform. Armed to the teeth at the expense of speed and agility, the Archon is based off of previous wedge-shaped Imperial and Sith designs of the past. Despite the drawbacks, the Archon was a powerful vessel for its class. Armed with 10 quad turbolasers, 2 heavy dual turbolaser cannons, 12 dual laser cannons, 4 light ion cannons and 12 concussion missile launchers, the Archon packed a surprising punch. Able to carry 12 starfighters for support the ship also housed 40 troops for defensive purposes.
