Armed with 1 dual laser cannon on top, 2 heavy laser cannons further down, 16 ordinance launchers on the front (2 missiles each) and a small bomb rack near the bottom, capable of carrying 4 of virtually any bomb type, the Deviant was virtually left unchallenged on the battlefield. Its narrow profile made it a difficult target to hit and its offensive capabilities could devastate the unaware with impunity.
