Graemon knew how to butter Endor up. There was nothing the General enjoyed more than talking about starfighters. The rebel pilot's bushy bearded face lit up at the mention of XJ7s.
"The Ewoks..." Likely referring to his personal squadron, Endor's Ewoks. "...use XJ7s. They're a hell of a bird. Fast, mean, and they can take a real beating. I'd use one myself, but I'm a fan of the classics. I reckon my supped up T-65 could give them a run for their credits. I fit it with an overdrive and lets just say the first time I used it, I had to take her into the shop for a week to reinforce the frame after all the cracks I put into it." Next to the General, a horn headed snowok sauntered into the commander center and offered Endor a steaming cup of stimcaf. He picked the mug up, extending his pinky and took an audible slurp of the steaming beverage. "I also wouldn't mind getting a look under the hood of those E-wings, see what improvements you Coalition lads have made. I flew one of the base models once in a skirmish over Tynna. I can see why some prefer it over the X-wing, but as I said, I'm a sucker for Galactic Civil War era snubs."
Bringing the cup up to his lips once more, the General downed the remainder of the boiling hot liquid with a grimace, letting out a steaming breath as he sighed in satisfaction and dragged the back of his sleeve across his mouth.
"The Rebellion would be happy to accept your loan. Though I feel it only fair to warn you..." He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "...I don't have the best track record of returning ships intact. The Force only knows what Master Malvern of the Jedi Lords is going to say when he hears about what happened to that Orion battlecruiser he let me borrow."

Graemon pays attention to those last words. The Baron looks upon the General with a stern, but polite request.
General, given what I have lost already, I do hope to get my loans back intact. The Procopian Irregulars have already lost plenty of good men and material in our retreat to Bothuwai. I would hate to have to keep rebuilding and retraining my ranks from such loans...
And this was an honest request. Plenty of work had gone into making the juniors into seniors and the recruits into the new juniors. They hadn't gotten into real fighting just yet, but for the sake of not stretching their resources, Graemon hoped that missions would be done in a cautious, yet productive manner. He knew that joining the Rebellion may result in this, but hopefully, General Endor wouldn't send them to their deaths without it mattering.
I know that losses will come with our actions and due to consequences, but we have only just rebuilt. I would like these new recruits to get their metal tested and them to return to add experience to our ranks. We cannot have just the core be veteran while the rest barely know how to blast a rifle.
Switching gears.
I will also send along an appropriate staff from my wife's Medical Corps. She has been rebuilding our medical personnel and plans to ensure that the Alliance has the best doctors and medical assistances for the wounded and injured. As for the E-Wing Type C, I will see to it that a couple squadrons are with the Ironstriker. They are good fighters.

"Woah." Said Endor, raising his hands defensively. "I'm just talking about durasteel and premium tibanna, Baron. My track record with ships might not be great, but I haven't lost a rebel yet. I'm not saying it won't happen, but I wouldn't knowingly send anyone into a situation I didn't think they could handle. Rest assured, I value the lives of everyone under my command." He couldn't entirely blame Graemon for jumping to conclusions. That Coalition had lost a lot and plenty of the scars were still fresh. No doubt the Baron had seen more than a few men die under his command and didn't want to be responsible for the loss of any more. "We could definitely use the medical personnel. My own peoples medical practices are a bit rustic and could benefit from the technical expertise of someone trained in modern medicine." He would never directly criticize ewok shamanistic healing, but well, herbs and spit wouldn't reattach limbs or replace surgery. "I'm sure you're right about the E-wings, but I hope you won't be offended if I test that claim myself. There's more to flying than fancy tech." He boasted, before admitting... "It does help though."
