Kraken War DroidShip Class: Starfighter Ship Role: War Droid Ship Length: 5 meters Agility (A): 3 Defensive (D): 3 Offensive (O): 3 Speed (S): 4 Special Gear: 2 (Semi Sentient Control System, Advanced Sensor Array) Description:With the growing power of the Jedi Lords, a new War Droid Starfighter has been produced in a joint effort between several factions. Thus comes the Kraken War Droid. Produced using an Archonite crystal control system, the Kraken War Droid has a limited sentience allowing it to operate independently, but it can operate more optimally with a rider/pilot. The Kraken features 15 tentacle like appendages and 8 smaller control arms, featuring a number of different weapon and tool attachments. A Shield system provide protection for the pilot when the Kraken is conducting operations in vacuum and transitioning down into atmosphere. Weapons:Multi-function Welding and Cutting Laser Claws Circular Saws 2 Laser Cannons 4 Buzz Droids 4 Blaster Rifles

Right at the moment, I'm not fully sure if this should technically even fall in as a starfighter or if it should just be considered a droid. Thoughts from the other RPA?

I mean it could be both, right? I believe that it could fall under the same lines as both the vulture droid and the Hyena Droid, both the Vulture and Hyena are fighters/bombers but also used as droids by the CIS.

True enough. Was just curious as those droid fighters appear more dedicated to being starfighters where this looks to be capable of use otherwise.

The image is making me think this thing can't fly though. I mean, at least, with the vulture and hyena, there were obvious wings on those models that could be used as legs.

You don't need wings to fly in space... Also, Basilisk War Droids lack wings, yet can fly just fine. Even some standard starfighters didn't even have proper wing setups. All you need is a repulsorlift system and an engine/thruster unit.
