Description:
As part of the Aesir line, the starfighters were to serve as dedicated roles unto themselves just as every ship that came before them. First came the Fūjin-class interceptor. Sharp and sleek in its design, it worked to keep its targeting profile as minimal as possible. Utilizing five high-powered engines, its speed was pushed to the highest limits, matching some of the fastest craft available, which further helped it live up to the role within the Aesir line. Incredibly agile to boot, it was a difficult ship to chase down or run away from. For high-speed dogfights, its weapon loadout took from the Slyph-class interceptor. Moving quickly would make it hard to hit a target, especially other interceptors so regular laser cannons were avoided in favor of two lighter, rapid-fire versions so it could pelt the enemy in a barrage of fire. A single ion cannon was also added in for extra support.
