Description:
As the last of the starfighters of the Aesir line, the Huracán-class assault bomber worked to live up to its name by being a force of storm and fire with its powerful arsenal. Continuing the aesthetics of a wide triangular form, it was much sharper and more aggressive than its Mythic line cousin, the Zilant. While just a touch slower, the extensive work to make it the best it could be allowed it to keep its heavier armor and up its armament without losing much.
Retaining the slim design as its brethren of the Aesir line, it was a bomber that came ready to deliver punishment. Armed with a pair of dual laser cannons for enemy fighters, it also held two proton torpedo launchers and seventeen bomb chutes to aid in laying waste to capital ships or ground emplacements. Though it was elected to initially install a cloaking device upon the vessel for maximum effectiveness, the costs of adding it was too much to justify, leading to the installation of a stealth field generator to help hide it from sensors, adding for a degree of stealth. To function at its best, it required both a pilot and a bombardier.
