Hello everyone.
The RPA seeks to continue helping promote RP across the JvS community, making new and returning players feel welcome and helping them get established. We also want to provide opportunities to those wishing to step up into this role. There will be times in which a current RPA steps down, allowing new writers to apply. Over time, however, it has been brought to my attention that some who write here have thought of joining the RPA, but certain aspects have kept them from applying, such as responsibilities they may not feel comfortable addressing.
The current RPAs are curious: What kind of setup for the RPA would make you more willing to join? Are you the type of person ready to aid with RP but would rather not deal with the ship database submissions? Perhaps your interest lies solely in looking over those ship submissions and determining what works or not? Are you someone who'd rather explore the site and speak with others to further develop the event timeline with the Chronicler? Have you already been thinking about joining but not sure how to apply? This is your chance to let us know your thoughts and feelings about the current RPA's.
To shine a light on exactly what the RPA's do, our current responsibilities are broken down by the three major tasks:
As time progresses, we realize we must be ready to accept change to keep the RPA functional for the current state of the boards and to keep helping those who need it. Please let it be known, however, that this is meant to gauge interest but doesn't mean a change will come immediately, if at all. At this present point, we seek to know what paths are open to us as we press forward.
Thank you all for your time and input.
