The lady Bruce chuckled as Kent mentioned not having the appropriate attire to be a countess. Oh, my dear, you needn't worry. I'm sure I have some old cloths from when I was your age. Her soft, signature, half smile rested on Kent. And besides, you will be Jedi first and anything else second. So as long as it will allow you comfort and the freedom to follow the role of a Jedi, you needn't worry about such things as dress codes.

Despite the, situation, within which she found herself opposite the Duke, Aurora still gave a gracious bow of her head at his words

Her attention shifted from the Duke to going between Lady Bruce and Kent. She blushed somewhat as Abigail requested Kent go easy on her. Her liege lady's concern for her safety was slightly embarrassing, but thankfully the topic of discussion moved quickly from that point. Instead, her focus drifted to imagining Kent in some of Abigail's old clothing. Making her, for the first time, realize some of the close similarities between the pairs features. Something which she just as quickly tried to take her mind off of due to weird thoughts that spawned deeper in the back of her mind. She ate some more of her food before drinking some water and offering a light cough
Yes, I tend not to... follow the "dress" code, so to speak...
Unlike the Duke and Countess, Aurora was still dressed in his armour which she much preferred over wearing what she considered fancy clothing

Duke Malvern taps his chin slightly before turning to the Countess Bruce.
We may be Jedi first, but we still follow a different code. We are more beholden to the people, for they are our subjects. As nobles, it is our sworn duty to protect them and their lives. The oaths of nobles intertwines with our duties as Jedi.
Lucien turns to Kent.
We may wear fancy clothing and have manors, but you will find us not like other nobility. We are still warriors of the light, protectors of freedom, and swords against the darkness that exists in our galaxy. Do not worry. You will find your place among our ranks and thrive. That, I assure you.

Thank you for your kind words.Their words were comforting to a point, but the girl still felt very out of place in her plain grey robe and tunic. The plainness stood in very stark contrast than everything else here. It screamed to her that she didn't belong here in a place like this. For all of her potential and her brilliant mind, she was still just a teenager trying to find her place, dealing with all the emotions and pitfalls that came with it. She looked around trying to analyze the art and architecture of the the small castle to distract her from the feeling of loneliness and depression coming up from inside. She had no idea how to hide her emotions, so the conflict was on full display in the Force. She tried to focus on the patterns in the Countess's dress.

Abi did not miss the look on Kent's face, nor the pained feelings in the Force. Though she had never been alone, always having her grandmother to guide her and be there, loosing her home and parents had weighed heavily on her in her early years. But now she had found her purpose and that gave her something to cling to. She had to be strong and steady for her people and for Serenno in general. You will also find people here who will care about you deeply. Friends who will have nothing but the best of intentions for you. And you may count me among your friends, young one. If there is ever anything you need from me, just ask and I will do my best to see it done.

Perhaps, Lady Bruce, Kent might be excused to browse some of your old clothing? It has been a rather long and eventful day...
Aurora was, in some parts, glad that Kent could not yet hide her emotions. She was much easier to read and monitor, so that any slip toward darkness could be curtailed before it became dangerous. It was something she would have to work on with Kent over time. For now, she would just manage as best she could

Abi clapped her hands together in excitement at Aurora's suggestion. A wonderful idea! I'm sure I still have some from my days being your size, Kent. The Countess rose and offered a hand for Kent to take. Come, we'll look in my room first. I hope you like floral patterns. Abi would add as she lead the young Padawan up to her private chambers on the upper floor.

I have never had one so I am not sure what looks best on me.Kent follows up to the chambers and the closet. Inside were more cloths than the teenager had ever seen before, some in colors she had never seen in person before either. The intensity filled her with joy. It was new information, and Kent loved to get new information. She smiles wide and bright at it all.
