The Kacmahe-Class Star Destroyer ("Kacmahe" translates to "Empire" in Huttese), was the first ship within the Hutt Navy that utilized similar designs to that of the Imperial-Class vessels of the Galactic Empire. Heavily modified to allow a Hutt to move through the ship with relative ease, the Kacmahe was intended to be the pinnacle of the Hutt Navy.
Armed with 40 double turbolaser batteries, 60 point defense laser cannons, 12 heavy ion cannons, 16 proton torpedo launchers with a payload of 8 torpedoes each, and 4 tractor beam projectors, supplemented by an advanced targeting system, the Kacmahe certainly wasn't lacking in offensive capabilities. Bolstering its defensive capabilities was a redundant shield generator as well as heavier than normal hull plating and as a last resort, a self-destruct mechanism. Rounding out the ship's capabilities was the ability to carry 72 starfighters and 1600 soldier for surface deployments, ship defense or even as raiding parties. Produced on Nal Hutta at the sprawling facilities of the Cuarja Shipyards to the south of Bilbousa, this was intended to be the largest mainstream ship available within the Hutt Navy, surpassed only by the massive Azalus-Class Dreadnaught MK II.
