Description:
Originally designed and test-piloted by then-Jedi Knight Kel'Al Raganella as an all purpose transport for Corellian political, military, and Jedi leadership, the YT-3000 modernizes the classic YT-series freighter for the JvS current day. This light freighter borrows heavily from CEC's decades of engineering on the reliable and popular YT-2400 model, but extends the length by 5 meters*, and adds a third bracing arm on the cockpit. It features a saucer-shaped reinforced double-layered hull, similar to other YT series ships, and a starboard-mounted command pod. It comes standard with a number of features which required aftermarket modifications in the past, such as upgrading from twin to quad laser cannons and adding a small tractor beam generator for loading cargo (can pull anything up to roughly the size of a heavy starfighter). The YT has been thoroughly modernized for the current era, including the latest in CEC shielding, sensors, and targeting and navigation systems.

** The internal cargo hold is reconfigurable, allowing for either a full load of 215 tons with 3 passengers or fewer, or a reduction to 135 tons with room for up to 8 passengers.
