Torvus ~The Dathomirian Enclave~ Within the lush rainforest areas of Serenno, spires could be seen from afar of where the descendants of the Dathomirian Witch enclave had settled a long time ago, back when the Nightsisters had once more overtaken rulership of the planet. With the witches having found a safe route over the Hydian way towards the world of Serenno it was mainly due to the gratitude of the former ruling counts, that the witches were able to claim a portion of the land in exchange for their council and guard service, as lightside force users were respected within these dark times. The colony prospered well, increasing its numbers tremendously when settlers from other parts of the planet and from outside, refugees from Iridonia, seeked their luck in joining the local community, resulting in a boominh increase. Nowadays around 15,000 settlers, mostly of Dathomirian, Zabrak and human origin claim the city of Torvus as it was named, their home.
Although the witches lived for most of the time autonomous and retained their culture as best as they could, breeding Rancors and other lifeforms, which they brought from Dathomir within the forest expanse, while teaching their younglings in the ways of the witches, they had quickly adapted to the local lifestyle of the Serennian people, deciding by the ammount of expansion that each family of force users may be able to claim and inherit land within their own rights. The local countess, the Lady Mother of Torvus, was supposedly the Clan Mother of the enclave, the strongest force user, although her family would inherit the authority over the entire enclave. In the end the Sisters settled that her rule might always be contested if the Lady Mother proofs to rule inefficently, though it rarely occured within the past as the Drashi bloodline of the founding Clan Mother had always a strong connection towards the force, even in exile.
The Serenno Dathomirians despise the ways of the Dark Side and thus the local witches and witchers, whose rulership over their bestowed regions can be seen as similiar as how a regular lord would gouvern a region, will always fight back any attempt of individuals following this way, either by punishing means or even at the cost of lifes, if it was necessary - even if it meant to rally their own people against another witch, who had abbandoned the old ways while seeking her fortune within the dark side. Luckily those incidents occured rarely within the past of the enclave, though these very few incidents resulted within a slow militarization, wheras a majority of the enclave's citizens could always be called to war, if the witches required their services. Around the time of Mother Deane Drashi, the mother of the current Lady Mother Gaelle Drashi, the forming of a enclave-wide militia, called the Kodashi Lancers was established, as the access to melee weapons like energy staffs and energy lances had increased with the upcoming trade and the constant adaptation to otherworldly technology.

[Continued from here.] Vanyla smiled down at Telandra [RETIRED] from her perch on the mossy rock. You will! The young witch said it with certainty. Despite starting as an outsider herself, and still being a bit of a pain for her sisters, they still looked out for her. And not just because her adopted sister was the new Mother. Wow, that was confusing when she thought about it, but it just lead her to give a soft chuckle. So, any questions you have for me? I've been talking a lot, and my Mother used to say "Vanyla, give others a chance to speak so you may learn from them." And now I realize that I'm still talking despite asking you to talk and will be quiet now...

It was quite refreshing and nice to see just how confident Vanyla was in her proclamation. In truth, she did not doubt the honesty of it. Witches were a sisterhood and looked out for one another, regardless of where they came from. Except, of course, unless you were a Nightsister. Few that touched the dark magicks were ever able to be saved. Not for lack of trying, but because the corruption of such powers ran deep. Thankfully it was not something she had to worry about. She moved closer to the rock and smiled while shrugging You're fine... I honestly do not know what I would or should ask you. I'm so new here that it's hard to fathom just what I should know... I guess is there any where we're not allowed to go or anything? Being new here, I would hate to accidentally wander somewhere I should not be...

Vanyla drew her knees up to her chest and then hugged them while resting her chin on them, thinking. She wasn't familiar with many, though she wasn't usually one to go roaming around in buildings, she much preferred her out doors. Well, I don't think so... None that you could easily wonder into. Most places people don't want you going are locked up. But there's plenty of space out here to roam! She flung her arms back out as she said it, a little over excited and not fully noticing how close Telandra was to her. Telandra would narrowly not be hit on the head like the wind-chimes in the temple. Oooooh, I'm so sorry! I almost hit you again! Sorrysorrysorry. She trailed off, now hiding her face in her knees and more slowly retracting her arms around them.

At Vanyla's response, she smiled. It was something of a relief to hear that, given that there were a number of places back on Dathomir one could accidentally stumble upon where they should not be or were not allowed to go. The boundaries in Torvus sounded like they were much more defined. Telandra then found herself ducking for some cover as Vanyla flung her arms out. Barely just dodging being hit over the head. She let out a soft chuckle as she straightened back up in front of the younger Witch It's ok, you didn't hit me... Though maybe you should be a bit more careful about that. There certainly is plenty of space to roam, but you're not alone out here anymore... It was an honest mistake, and truth be told, she suspected it would be very difficult to remain annoyed or angry at Vanyla. She was far too sweet and adorable

Peeking just one eye out from her hiding place in her knees, Vanyla gave a short nod. She wasn't used to anyone being so close to her for so long. But Telandra seemed to be sticking around, despite having had to suffer a whole tour of the Enclave. The young witch soon lifted the rest of her head out and gave a small smile. Yeah. I guess I've just gotten used to being alone for the most part.

Telandra moved a bit closer and gently ran her hand through Vanyla's hair. The young Witch was so sweet and kind. It was nice to have someone like that to spend time with after everything that had happened in the last few months Well, you don't have to be alone any longer... We're sisters now, and we can hang out together here in the forest... For now though, it might be time to head back and get some rest. It was a long trek to Torvus and I think I finally need to get some sleep...

Vanyla looked at Telandra inquisitively, but then had the moment of realization. Oh, yeah, right. Sleeping inside, Got it. I totally do that, like a normal person. She stood and hopped down off the rock she had been perched on.

Telandra couldn't help but chuckle a little at Vanyla's response I'm not one to call any of my sister's a liar, but... somehow I don't believe you... Her smile did not face as she took a few steps back, allowing Vanyla to get down from the rock she was upon Please, lead on... I'm afraid I'll be somewhat relying on you for a few days until I properly figure out my way around Torvus. I hope that is ok?

Vanyla looked shocked at what Telandra had to say. You- you mean you want me to continue to be your guide? That's... new. Vanyla paused, but only for a moment. Usually the other sisters tell me "Vanyla, as much fun as you have been, I'll need some time. You are a..." well, they use a lot of different words to discribe my energy and spirit. I guess I can be a little much all at once. The young witch clutched her staff close to her chest as she lead the way back to the Enclaves living area. As sad as the words themselves may have been, Vanyla didn't seem it, more of in disbelief.

While she could certainly understand that many of the Sister's could not stand Vanyla's over-abundance of energy, Telandra did not feel the same. Vanyla was young and needed to be able to be free and herself. The world all too quickly forced it's way in and destroyed too many good people. She kept pace beside Vanyla and placed her hand on the younger girl's shoulder You're not too much for me, I promise. You can be who and what you want. You're a wonderful person, and I hope we can be good friends...
