Description:
The Rastreador-class Pursuit Frigate was designed to provide the Solenbaran Diarchy with a vessel capable of pursuing fleeing enemy craft. It was designed to be fast, agile, and capable of taking a significant amount of damage. The last of which was achieved thanks to the pair of shield sphere's perched atop the vessels bridge. For an offense, the Rastreador-class was equipped only with 4 Heavy Ion Cannons and 8 Dual Laser Cannons. This meant that it did not hit hard, but the Rastreador's focus was not to hit hard but disable its targets with Ion fire so the enemy craft could be captured. But for additional support, it had 36 Starfighters and a small boarding team of 200 Stormtroopers. Additionally the Rastreador-class was equipped with an advanced jamming suite to prevent its targets from calling for help, while an enhanced comms array allowed it to call for reinforcements from afar and when enemy craft were trying to jam it.
