Description:
The Prohibidor-class was one of the latest vessels designed by the Solenbaran Diarchy to fill an unmet need within the naval structure. The Prohibidor featured a pair of gravity well projectors designed to prevent enemy vessels from escaping to hyperspace. Like many interdictor vessels it did come lightly armed, but this was due to the fact that the Prohibidor featured a reinforced hull and advanced shielding systems. Power was also dedicated to allowing the ship a respectable speed, but lacking in agility. To supplement its relatively low offensive power, the Prohibidor had space for 36 Starfighters for protecting itself from enemy fighter craft, and 200 Stormtroopers for primarily defending against boarding actions and conducting special assignments in hostile territory.
